Mithun was recently awarded with a Padmashri… He should have got it long back. Because there can't be another Mithun Chakraborty. He had his own style. He had his own charm, the most beautiful smile. And he never complained. He was never grumpy. He was never short-tempered. He was just easy-breezy. Mithun means easy-breezy.

The Kashmir Files (2022)
32 Years Indeed Long wait to Know the Truth
Experienced the Color of Truth this Holi ie 19th Mar, 2022 after 32 years. A long wait indeed.
Two Institutions of Acting and One Masterpiece from India to the World and Oscar.
Though in the lead role Anupan Kher who proved his mettle in his first film Saaransh proved yet again he is one of the underrated actor of Hindi Cinema. He portrayed the pain, agony and suffering of Kashmiri Pandits without any added drama.
But I am mesmerized by the 3 Times National Award winner Mithun da who is the best in Hindi Cinema and who was sidelined by the media. The Actor who prepare their body and get up to exhibit their Acting should learn from Mahaguru of Acting and People's Actor Mithun da how to express diverse emotions with Eyes without dialogue.
Every other actors Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar,Prakash Belawadi,Puneet Issar,Bhasha Sumbl,Sourav Verma and Mrinal Kulkarni were at their best and the character.
Every Awards needs this Two Legendary Actors to prove thier worth and glory.
After a long long time Hindi Cinema got a Director who can be compared to Ray from Bengal, Mani Ratnam from Tamil and Adoor from Kerala.
Kudos to Team The Kashmir Files.
The Tashkent Files (2019)
A Must Watch for True Indians
It was one of the finest films to have come out in the recent times. However I feel pity that Film Critics have misguided the common people with their review and ratings that only reinforce that they have some ulterior motive and they are incapable to do justice to their Job.
After watching the films I am shocked how people in power manipulate the History of the Country for their benefit. Director Vivek Agnihotri needs all the appreciation for choosing this subject of our most beloved PM who himself is one of the finest PM of not only India but World. I also appreciate him for having the courage to go without songs and dance & Hero and Heroine Concept like the usual commercial movies respecting the subject and theme of the movie.
Now talking about the performances I would just say it was awesome be it the lead actor Shweta Basu or the 3 times National Award winning Mithun da and Naseeruddin saab. Mithun da was outstanding as Shyma Sunder Tripathi and Pallivi Joshi well deserved the National Award.
It is also shocking how the Jury send Gully Boy to represent India in Oscar and not TTF that is is original and tells the story of India and its History.
Kaafiron Ki Namaaz (2013)
A Must Watch
It was a great experience at 20th KIFF watching Kaffiron Ki Namaaz. It was a well written script with some powerful dialogue- "Man get his religion even before he gets his name,if he is given a chance to learn all the religion of the world and an option to choose his own religion then there wont be any violence in the name of religion", left a lasting impression in my mind.
Ram Ramesh Sharma gets full credit in extracting a fine performance from all the three lead characters.
Though the major part of the film was inside a room in the format of an interview, it was so gripping and engrossing the audience never felt a moment of boredom, all the credit goes to the director Ram Ramesh Sharma for coming out with a such a masterpiece in his debut direction.
Kudos to the entire team and specially the director Ram Ramesh Sharma and producer Bahrgav Saikia for the great debut.
It can match any other international film in terms of execution, direction and production value and should be sent as official entry to Oscar from India.
In fact it was my top five pick along with The Search, Omar, Force of Destiny and Chhoti Moti Batein in 20th KIFF.
A must watch for all lovers of good and quality films with the best take away- Man gets his religion................
Wishing the entire team for your theatrical release. It will be a surprise HIT like The Wednesday and Aamir.
With Reagards, M.Venkat Raman
