Cheesy Predictable Movie
28 December 2023
Zack Snyder stuns with another cliché action movie: boring!

I can say that this movie was visually stunning, but everything else fell flat. Although it was bad, it was bad/good, you know, not bad/bad because it had its moments, sorta kinda... Bad.good movie that became comedic at times, which made me enjoy it a little lol.

I wish this movie was more than what it seemed, as everything is so predictable and literally feels like every sci fi/ action movies put into one! My boyfriend and I were guessing what would happen and lines, and it would happen or be exact because everything was so obvious!!!

The story would make some sense and then no sense at all as well. Overall, this movie was somewhat entertaining, and I'd be willing to watch the next movie to see where it goes...

AND WHY WAS PRINCE TARAK SHIRTLESS THE WHOLE TIME LOL?!

The Best Interactive Romance Chick Flick

I enjoy these types of films on Netflix! I loved Black Mirrors Bandersnatch, and this one was perfect for the lover girl that I am. This movie felt like an Episode game but in real life. I played the 1st round being a good girlfriend and then followed that up with getting every ending. I wish it was longer and had more depth so you could feel a stronger connection with the characters. That's just me being greedy for more interactions and fangirling, because what girl wouldn't love to be in a love square? This film made me giddy and have butterflies! I teared up a couple of times and each storyline was bittersweet! The actors were so believable and well-suited for their roles. The chemistry between all the characters was so amazing! I know every girl who grew up watching Victorious picked Rex- because I folded lol

I hope Netflix continues to put out more films like this!

Relatable and Hilarious!
15 September 2023
I saw so many clips of this show on TikTok and thought it was so cringy but funny. I had no idea why two 30 yr olds were playing as kids with kids, but it all makes sense watching lol. Being an Asian American and growing up in the late 90's, early 2000's, this show is so relatable! This show has a lot of moments that bring you back to when you were a kid, first going through adolescence life experiences. Every character on the show will definitely remind you of you or someone you knew. Middle school was such a time and this show did a great job and bringing me back to the good, awkward old days! I really hope they bring this show back because I would love to see where the storylines are.

A lot of disappointed watchers, but I enjoyed it!
15 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I was high as heck watching this movie on a bootleg site and still enjoyed this movie lol. I know a lot of people disliked it because it showed a lot of flash backs from the 1st and 2nd movie, but I think it worked well. The 2nd movie mirrored the 1st movie and the red door mirrored the 2nd movie. I think the pacing of the story was good. It showed a different dynamic to the story line. I was sad to see that the parents had divorced but it makes so much sense. I wished we got to see Renai more, I really didn't want Josh and her relationship to be like at all. But I know this movie wouldn't have a fairy tail ending after all the trauma they went through in 1&2, so the family being kind of broken and in silence from erasing their memory was a good set up for a father and son story line. I thought the jump scares were good, they did a lot of building up in some scenes, which made me look at all the surroundings, wondering if something from the back was moving or coming closer. That was really fun for me! I think the ending was good too. It showed that they knew that they needed to remember about The Further and with Elise saying they need to thread lightly. We also got to learn about Josh's dad. Josh's dad killed himself to protect him, and that only ended hurting Josh, so for this ending, Josh had to live to save his son. I think it's a cute ending and a good closing for Josh and Dalton that Josh didn't get with his father. Overall, this movie was fun to watch for me. I'm usually a harsh critic to scary movies, and I found this one a good closing for 1&2.

Florence carried the movie
8 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
You know what's happening but you just get gaslit the entire movie. Obviously sometime feels off in the world that they are living in. The ending makes sense but also doesn't. I still feel like there should have been more, but the movie was simplified, so it also works lol. I don't understand why people hate this movie, I think it did a good job of telling the story! Margaret brought her fake child to the headquarters which resulted in her walking up irl but her child disappeared because he didn't exist in the real world. The men trapped their girl into this world without consent. I don't understand why the men wouldn't just tell their girl about the circumstances that they are living in, I wouldn't mind living there LOL. Olivia's character didn't mind, why trap em if they are willing to stay in this virtual reality? I really do wish they could tell us what happens after she wakes up. I felt like that was so rushed! I hate endings where the viewers have to create their own narrative, especially this movie because a lot of things don't make sense lol. Like how come if you die in that world, you do in real life? I think that's dumb, but whatever helps our girl Florence escapes, periodt 💅

Decent but a little cringy
28 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I liked the movie, it's a little different and refreshing. It makes you think about where you could of been and all the what ifs.

I do feel in the story line where she has a baby, she should have ended up with someone new and not back with the baby daddy. The whole' "she isn't you," was so cringy. How dear she take him back after he literally "moved on" with another girl and proposed to her. It felt like they were only friends, literally why they weren't dating and were only friends with benefits, for one night! Idk, that doesn't scream romantic to me.

The other story line where she goes to California was more smooth with the love interest.

Overall a decent movie and a little cringy.

It was bad, I kept watching.

I was happy that Asians were going to have a show, but this is not the right representation. If this is scripted, they casted the worst people ever too lol. They are so bland and not memorable, I just hated everyone. They really didn't do much, their life styles were so boring, nothing was even close to crazy rich Asians. The richness just felt fake and forced, it makes Asians look so bad LOL. The name dropping of designer brands was so funny because it's so dumb.

I hope there isn't another season.

Fighting scenes were really good
21 November 2021
Obviously this film is heavily Americanized, but the martial arts were so beautiful and well done! I haven't seen fighting scenes like that for a hot minute and it brings me back to my childhood, like watching Jet Lee, Michelle Yeoh, and Jackie Chan. I really wish they spoke more mandarin in specific scenes though. The English made scenes weak to me personally, idk being threatened in English didn't cut it, but when the villain threat the elder in mandarin, that hit different.

Overall, I loved the movie and am so proud that an Asian protagonist is in the MCU. I understand they want the movie to appeal to Americans, but I'd wish they keep the movie a bit more Asian traditional than super Americanized lol.
