2000 Mules (2022)

Bring the receipts!

This is my 2nd time leaving a review for this film because my first one disappeared.

Interesting premise, but does geotracking actually work? For those of you so confident it doesn't go to Google maps and tap the location icon and see for yourself. How do you think our government was able to ascertain who was in the capitol on Jan 6? They are tracking our every move. As for the film it was ok but where's the info they promised would be released on the operatives and the corporations behind the fake ballots? Next time Dinesh bring all your receipts and you won't have so many questioning your work.

You know who comes to earth and kills a bunch of stuff.

You can pretty much figure out what happens next.

Wormwood (2017)

This miniseries was a little slow in the first episode. But stay with it, they shed light on what happened to scientist Frank Olson in November 1953, and some secret projects where our government was involved.

One can only imagine what they're capable of now!

Animal (2021– )

Ani-mazing!

Though the animals portrayed in this docu-series are wonderful, the cinematography is absolutely amazing! So many once-in-a-million type shots! We were left wondering aloud many times about how such footage was obtained. I had no problem with the narrators, they fit in well and the info was well placed.

This isn't one of those "Humans Bad, Animals Good" series though they touch on climate change and human effects on animal life a few times it's not preachy.

Red Notice (2021)

Surprisingly Good!

When I saw the trailer for Red Notice I immediately knew I wasn't going to watch it. But the reviews on IMDb were good so I gave it shot and this film didn't disappoint! If you're tired of seeing Ryan Reynolds' smart-ass comments and just seeing The Rock again in another movie, this might not be for you. Otherwise enjoy the show!

Black Crab (2022)

This is not your typical war movie. Though it was very suspenseful and action packed there were many things left to speculation. The cinematography and character development were great. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, I would recommend watching it with the subtitles on.

The Dig (2021)

The story about Sutton Hoo itself was very interesting, we didn't need the additional fictitious characters and sexual orientation scenarios. Every filmmaker now feels it is necessary to check some sort of social box to seek acceptance and accolades.

Te Ata (2016)

What an amazing film this was. I wish I had known about Te Ata and other historical events before watching this. It would have been very easy for this film to take the typical role of "every white man is bad" and that would have overshadowed the great performance of Q'orianka Kilcher and the filmography! You probably will need some tissues nearby when watching this!

This movie was ok, but will soon be forgotten.

The filmography was well done and the use of military equipment and uniforms looked mostly authentic. The special effects were lacking especially when explosions and injuries were displayed.

They did a disservice to the actual story by developing three characters who we really never care about. I kept waiting for the three characters to interact and tie their stories together but no......😐

Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021 TV Special)

I expected Dave Chappelle's special, "The Closer" to make me laugh I didn't expect to shed a tear. He truly is the GOAT!

Jeff Daniels as a villain? Absolutely! He has to be one of the most underrated actors of our time. This series was very entertaining. The lighting, storyline and character development was very well done. If you're not careful you might shed a tear or two hundred.

Coming 2 America (2021)

Not the worst sequel ever.

The storyline is very weak and not very believable. It was nice they brought back so many of the old characters but personally I would have rather seen Allison Dean (Patrice) and Eriq La Salle (Darryl) more than some of the others. Unlike the original, there aren't many memorable scenes or lines that become instantly classic. Disappointing yet I watched the entire movie, the outtakes at the end were ok yet even some of them seemed staged.

You know when someone asks , "Want to hear about the weirdest dream I had last night?" You say "no" but over the course of two hours they tell you anyway! That's this movie. I don't know what was more annoying, the scientific errors, lack of plot, etc or my wife constantly asking me throughout the entire movie if I wanted to watch something else! Typical Hollywood message. I'm glad my subscription could help fund such a useless endeavor.

Cute old time Christmas movie with the possibility of miracles. Many reviews complain about the religious aspect of this film. There's definitely a message in the movie it's too bad those who couldn't see past the Christian theme didn't understand it.

We have the costumes, actors, props and sets let's make a sequel! Let's not! This was no where near as good as the first. Kurt Russell saves this movie. Writing was horrible and predictable. Characters are annoying, bad lip syncing and acting detract from this film.

I wasn't expecting too much from this movie. Thought the trailer looked cool. Mel Gibson & Walton Goggins gave great performances. Don't try to overthink this movie. Sit back and enjoy the show! I loved how everything including Chris was old and worn, just like it should be if someone was doing something for a long time. The filmography was great as well! Santa is real....a real bad-ass!

If you're pro-Trump you will enjoy watching this. Those who suffer from TDS won't watch, they'll leave a 1 star review instead.

I really enjoyed this movie and absolutely loved the characters. My biggest disappointment with this film is their accuracy when it comes to the use of the US Military's equipment, uniforms & personnel. When I saw these flaws it instantly lead me to believe the creators didn't care about the quality of the work they put out. This is too bad because the actors, the story, and the viewers deserved better!

Vintage Voltage (2020–2022)

Good Show With Issues.

I really want to like this show but it's very frustrating to invest the time watching an episode that contains a particular vehicle like a Ferrari 308 or a Porsche 914 and not be able to see them in their completed state. It seems they are more interested in producing episodes instead of letting the viewers see a completed project. It would make better sense to divide episodes into 2 parts. Also there is a narrator that can often be annoying and unnecessary. They should take some cues from the many successful car shows in the US. Everyone loves a "before and after" story. I really enjoy seeing European classic cars get transformed into EV's. The cast of characters are likable. If you like modern EV technology and classic cars you might want to check this show out.

1917 (2019)

Entertaining

This is no Saving Private Ryan, but the story was good. The filmography was excellent. There are a few flaws though like how the main character blabs to almost everyone he meets the details of his mission though he should have known the consequences if that information was leaked to the enemy. Also, the German snipers and soldiers were such terrible shots they never hit their target, the main character.

The Coldest Game (2019)

Before you watch this movie turn the subtitles on! There are entire scenes where the dialogue is in Russian and/or Polish. It was surprisingly entertaining and Bill Pullman made this movie worth watching. The US Flag was displayed in the wrong direction during the entire chess match. Of course there's a message at the end of the movie.........ugh.

After Life (2019–2022)

A series worth watching!

I expected "After Life" to be funny but I didn't expect to cry. Ricky Gervais delivers a great performance along with an inspiring message. My favorite quote from the series was. " I would rather be nowhere with her than somewhere without her."

Sniper: Ghost Shooter (2016 Video)

If you're prior military DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE! If they used any military advisors in this film I would be surprised. From the number of snipers, they use teams from all branches of the military, their appearance, haircuts, facial hair (most men should have beards not neat stubble ) & techniques (barely any cover, not sure of targets, too much movement, too much talking via radio) to weapons used UAV's, missiles, & firearms. They fired a missile at enemy troops. Considering the cost of around $70,000 this would be overkill not to mention a Geneva Convention violation. So much wrong I couldn't get through the entire thing. If you can get past the Top Gun scenes and the inflatable boats that don't sink even though the crew in them have been shot numerous times then this movie may be quite entertaining for you.
