Baburu (2022)
You will love it any way
It's like a shojo fantasy post apocalyptic movie with much more amazing graphics and colours. Simple storyline with loss, calamity, societal opinions of disabilities and friendships but you will only be able to feel the movie if you've been through being desperate, courageous, accept yourself and learn to know what u want and don't want and love life as if there's something for you to hold on to.
The song by Eve as opening theme was a fabulous decision and the song that was supposed to be alluring can be so frightful as well. Came to watch this after his live in action movie video on Netflix.
The characters drawn are easy on the eyes to look at though it's even much better when they are more detailed during close ups.
Simple with so much love and arts in mind. Still feel that it's a masterpiece which is very touching. Sometimes stories are senseless and love is the same but you love anyway✌🏻
Chaebeol X Detective (2024)
Spoiler alert!!!! Views on the ending and overall cast
The ending was great n i kept crying due to how ml lost his parents n how his closest brother turned on him. I really really hoped that the brother was really genuine to him, i felt so disappointed when he said he just pitied him, also all these just cos elder bro didn't want his real dad to be found out when his tycoon dad already knew evthg before he accepted him n the wife. Hence 1 star missing for these 2 points where i wished it could have been strengthened. Both leads and support cast acted well though the main cast are still more memorable. Love fl parents too, so kind n cute. Even the reporter and team 2 became better people! Park ji hyun is so pretty in the party dress, though i can never forget her being the scary possessed lady in Gomjiam.
Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou (2023)
Actually enjoyed the confusion of the back story
Watched the movie without expectations and reading synopsis. Entering it to experience the full movie as it is on Netflix was indeed good for me. It was an urge to research more when i was slightly confused in the beginning and had a lot of whys. Nearer the end, feel that the confusing parts may not fully matter but it's the relationships and impacts they bring to the individuals and why they feel so n had to do so. Warm fuzzy simple family and romantic feelings you will encounter. Not gonna put in specific spoilers as I'd implore you to watch with an open mind. The only slight discount is that i wish the show can elaborate more about the main characters' lives. Good job mappa but that 1* discount is also to remind them to be humane to give staff rest time to create better works✌🏻💪🏻
Castlevania: Nocturne (2023)
Comparing with previous make
Preferred the previous series' cast esp lead voice actors like amitrage.
Really liked the refreshing, cheeky, comical banter among the previous characters-Nocturne only has a lot of fffffffffff. Can the conversations be scripted better? I gave 7 cos of the final add at last scene n hope they can create the synergy like in the first make as well as there are some interesting points like how richter uncovered his powers where n when.. or the secret relationships.
Edoxxx's singing is touching but feel too over rated n lengthy at points. He's a nice character to keep akin to the devil that protected the last forgemaster. Belmont.... is... rather weak though can understand his rash n arrogant behaviour n i thought he will mature a bit more after realising his purpose.
If this is the character's personality then i like Trevor Belmont n Sypha much more. Even Annette is like, she keeps crying n crying.. so much crying crying in this series this time n all the tears n sweat are depicted the same way.. a bit... over or lazy? The main villian n her purpose is not convincing or strong enough, maybe cos the backstory is not visually presented (yet?). Hope for better season 2, look forward to a more compelling story n fun conversations.
