Killing Eve: Are You from Pinner? (2020)
The Jodie Comer show
It seems like this season the writers are trying to expand the world of Eve and Villanelle with bigger stakes and showing Eve and Villanelle are just a small part of a much bigger picture. Following this approach arrives this background episode that explores Villanelles past. Jodie Comer gives a performance that justifies all the awards that she has won so far. We don't only understand Villanelle better as a person but as a sadistic killer. No further explanation is needed as the final shot of this episode gives us all we need by itself.
Extraction (2020)
Gritty action packed movie and an overall great directorial debut
7.5/10
The film builds up on a somewhat John wick movie structure not in terms of tone or story but on an action based plot of getting from point a to b without too much established storytelling. Knowing that, the action is spectacular throughout and the movie is surprisingly emotional. The cinematography throughout the action sequences is executed beautifully with long takes that dont leave out anything out of the picture.
Better Call Saul: Something Unforgivable (2020)
An amazing send off into season 6
The episode beautifully explores an unexpected character at this point of the series giving us another intriguing character development and one amazing villain. The last minutes of this episode Were game changing and will provide us a crazy and thrilling ride right up to saul's bitter ending. And of course Kim finally breaking bad.
Watchmen (2019)
Simply great television
Does it matter wether it is true to the comics? Maybe. But as someone who Is not a comic book fanatic. This show hit very high marks, surpassing most tv shows out today. The cinematography is brilliant, the cast and acting are incredibly strong too and of course the score. Props to composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The production is also very strong in here and the plot is intriguing and puts an interesting spin on the universe as it ties it to reality. DO NOT pass on this one because you find it different than the comics.
