Family Guy: How the Griffin Stole Christmas (2016)
I believe the show got it's groove back
This episode was hilarious, with Peter dressing as Santa, plus the B-story with Brian & Stewie it was all in all a good episode. After discovering the Mall Santa is drunk, Peter becomes the new Santa and while getting lunch for free just because he's dressed like Santa he starts to abuse his power which gets him in trouble with the real Santa Claus, who threatens to put Peter on the naughty list. Meanwhile Brian & Stewie crash office Christmas parties for free food and booze. Don't listen to butt-hurt internet nerds this episode was a great episode I believe the show will make a comeback if the writers keep going in this direction and win back the trust of the show's ever growing fan base.
Family Guy: Inside Family Guy (2016)
A Masterpiece
This is a great must-see episode which takes a behind the scenes look at Family Guy hosted by recurring guest star James Woods(obliviously voiced by himself). The story is the network decides to fire Peter because they're sick of his shenanigans(but briefly re- hire him only to fire him again after he tells a producer "F**k you") and replace him with David Spade(not voiced by himself). Peter at first enjoys his freedom from the show but after the network grows weary of David Spade they decide to get him back. The writer of this episode Andrew Goldberg previously wrote "Herpe the Love Sore" which was terrible episode, but redeemed himself after writing this awesome episode, and it features stunning visuals directed by Joe Vaux. All in all this is a must see for Family Guy fans.
Family Guy: Stewie Is Enceinte (2015)
what has happened to this show?
This is by far the worst episode the show has ever done with it's disturbing plot, character derailment, and rancid imagery, This episode makes Herpe the Love Sore look like Road to Rhode Island. So what happens is Stewie is concerned when Brian starts to avoid him, while seeing Joe and Bonnie play with their baby Susie he gets the idea to have a baby with Brian. After taking Brian's DNA and injecting himself with it he gives birth to hideous human/dog hybrids, Meanwhile Peter and the guys decide to make a viral video in the lackluster sub-plot. As a die-hard Family Guy fan I despised this episode and if you binge watch this season skip this crap hole of a episode.
Family Guy: Peternormal Activity (2015)
Hilarious one of the best episodes in years
SPOILER ALERT: Do not read if you have not seen
This is a great underrated episode that you should give a try. What happens is Peter, Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe go see a terrible Horror movie so they get the idea to write their own film, they visit an old abandoned asylum for inspiration and are frightened by noises they decide to leave but Peter accidentally runs over an kills the old caretaker so they decide to bury him and never speak of the incident. Meanwhile Brian begins wearing glasses to look more intelligent, much to Stewie's annoyance. The best scene in the episode is where Peter on edge after accidentally killing the caretaker hears Lois say "You and the guys killed a man?" only to be revealed that's the title of a book she's reading, and she sings along a John Cougar Mellencamp song that summarizes what happened that night. All in all this a great episode I certainly recommend this episode to any Family Guy fan.
Family Guy: A Lot Going on Upstairs (2016)
Perfect Stewie & Brian story
WARNING SPOILERS: do not read If you have not seen this episode
I loved this episode with its entertaining story written by Steve Callaghan, and excellent animation directed by Joe Vaux. The Story of the episode is Stewie begins having nightmares like being naked in class, having dinner with Glenn Close(voiced by herself), and screwing up the theme song saying pumpkin pie instead of laugh and cry which features a hilarious scene with some of the show's the unused gag characters(Jim Kaplan, Obie, Vern & Johnny, RJ, and Fouad) all of which involve an evil black monster with yellow-green eyes and teeth. So Brian decides to help Stewie with his problems in honestly the funniest scene in the episode by having many of the show's numerous characters dress up as each other(ex.Chris as Frankenstein, Meg as Chris, Mayor Adam West as Meg, and Opie as Quagmire)and say a rudely toot-toot. When that fails Stewie builds a machine to allow Brian to enter his sub-conscious and fight off the monster while making their way through Stewie's numerous phobias such as Tom Tucker reading "adult stuff", Three child rapists, and Farm Animals dancing with their genitals swinging in the air, before finally confronting the monster in giant fuzzball field. Brian takes the Giant Needle from a nightmare version of Dr. Hartman and throws at the monster defeating it, as the monster dies he withers away and transforms into Brian where its revealed that the source of Stewie's nightmares is him disappointing Brian. Brian tells Stewie he will always be proud of him and returns to reality. Meanwhile Peter starts hanging out in the Attic, much to Lois' chagrin. When he invites Quagmire, Joe, and Cleveland, Lois Fed up with them in the attic, nails the door shut and traps them in the attic. The men threaten to poop on Lois' wedding dress, at first she does not believe them but when they poop on the dress and break the attic door she relents and Quagmire who threw up in Peter's ass says he needs a week off from his friendship. Stewie then wakes up from this dream walks out and sees the ruined wedding dress and says the final throwaway line "There's a wedding dress out here covered in s**t". This episode along the Halloween episode are the best this season so far, I definitely recommend this episode to any Family Guy fan.
