Dynasty (2017–2022)
10/10
Great reboot with break out star Liz Gillies
12 October 2017
This reboot made Dynasty a fresh, modern drama with both hints to the '80s version as remarks to our current society and politics. I can understand these changes will upset some old Dynasty fans, but I would urge everyone to give this series a chance. The story lines are interesting and complicated, the characters all have something special and the cast is good. The diversity of the cast is also something this series should be applauded too. Outstanding is Liz Gillies who plays main character Fallon Carrington. She is still relatively unknown, though people who watched FX's Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll already know that Gillies is great in combining drama and comedy. As Fallon she outshines the rest of the cast with her strong appearance. Netflix has bought Dynasty in a unique deal to broadcast it worldwide, indicating they, like me, expect Dynasty to become really big.

The show that brings real music back
19 July 2015
After watching the first episodes of Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll I can say that this show has stolen my heart. The series is a comedy mixed with drama and music that at first looks like to be about an old rock band trying to get together but basically is most about the relations between the band members.

The casting is very well done, the chemistry is between the actors is great. Elizabeth Gillies who plays Gigi, makes the most impression in both acting and singing. She is a true talent and a great find by producer and actor Denis Leary.

The music part of the series is what makes it stand out from all other shows about bands and fame. All music was recorded live and this you see back in the episodes: it makes it look like you're watching a live concert. The live music makes it so much more believable and brings us back to a time where we had real music instead of auto tune. Gillies voice is phenomenal and shows that real music still is possible.

as good as can be expected
22 June 2014
Warning: Spoilers
In my opinion this movie is at least as good as can be expected from a low budget horror film. Yes, of course there are some clichés and predictable situations in a film like this, but over all it was very entertaining. I liked the scenery and it gave just the right creepy atmosphere.

My favorite character is absolutely Mandy, played by the beautiful Elizabeth Gillies (she alone is a reason to watch this film). I loved how Mandy started as the typical popular, good looking, slightly superficial girl but changed into the strongest of the bunch, doing everything needed to survive the horror.
