Kantara (2022)

Must watch. First 2 hours is good last 30 minutes is very very good 👍
1 October 2022
The story is simple. Around 150 to 200 years before, a local king ends up giving away a portion of his land to a group of tribals. The tribals settles in this land and make it their homes. Current time, Govt considers this land as forest encroachment and orders the tribals to vacate the place. The descendents of the King also get involved in this and they feel that they are the owner of this land.

Everyone has given a brilliant performance and Rishab steals the show in the climax. Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami, Kishore, Pramod Shetty and other supporting actors have done great justice to their role. The last 30 minutes is the best I have seen in the recent past. Do not wait till it comes to OTT. Its a theatre movie.

The movie is good. It may not be as good as the earlier movie of this director "Ram Ram Re". But a nice time pass with healthy comedy. Entire family will enjoy the movie.

The way the beauty of Karnataka has been portrayed is Magnificent. Goosebumps when Jog and Shivanasamudra were shown. Hats off to Amoghavarsha, Kalyan Varma, Ricky Kej, Sir David Attenborough and the entire crew. Thank you for this.
