Cheolinwanghoo (2020)
Amazing and hilarious drama
Eventhough the show is an adaptation of the chinese show 'Go Princess Go', it improves on it by having excellent set pieces and costumes. The Dialogue delivery and chemistry between the actors is excellent. The Adlib by Kim Jung Hyun makes the scene transitions smooth, impactful and hilarious. Shin Hae sun's performance was perfectly done. The humour in the show is what keeps you coming for more.
Although the ending as less than satisfactory, it is still a worthy watch.

Good Romance and Chemistry
The script is extremely well-written with wonderful chemistry among the characters. The 'Little Moments' shared among characters add depth and personality to the characters, making it an absolute joy binge-watching. This sort of connection makes it hilarious to watch the interactions between the characters.
Although this show includes a loose mashup of ancient imperial setup with implementation of somewhat modern values and actions, it doesn't deter the audience from enjoying this viewing experience. The story mainly revolves around three romantic couples. Although the plot revolving around male lead and female lead and the third couple is quite enjoyable, the second couple's plot fails to hold on to viewer's attention. The second couple's plot seems almost foolish and predictable on part of the characters. And the death of the side characters (spoiler) seems unnecessary and forced.
All-in-All, the setup, the execution, costumes and multi-layered characters makes it an addictive watch, wanting for more.

Best Xianxia Show Ever
The beginning of the show was quite epic, confusing and sad. Especially if you've watched the show twice and retrospect (without having to come across any other source materials). Xiao Zhan's potrayal of Wei Wuxian is fun, loving and contradictory wherelse Wang Yibo's potrayal as Lan Wangji is quite sweet, lonely and sorrowful; silent and sombre. The Flashback and Flash forward (present time) story-telling is not unique but is very beautifully done with suitable impact appropriation, and possibly contains the longest flashback in the history of TV. The Story-telling sets up a rather melancholic ambience when as an audience you realise how slowly its starts to fall in place, how you know what happened and how tragic it was. The moments and chemistry between Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo is phenominal; they don't require dialogues and words to convey emotions and inner feelings. It is quite applicable for most of the characters on-screen. But Xiao Xhan and Wang Yibo's acting deserves special merit.
'The Untamed' is heroically tragic, satisfying and convulating. You will definitely need more than one watch. Specially to understand the last ten episodes, to truly capture, and savor the complexities and dilemmas of each character, including the antagonists point of view. Each actor was exquisite in their performance. Hats off to the actors and casting director. The Set-pieces and world building was well-executed. Although some CGI scenes could have been better. But considering its a series, it did an excellent job. Some of the effects come off as quite creepy. The costumes are well thought out and quite aesthetically pleasing. The Screenplay and writing are fantastically done. Although some plotlines were predictable and viewers could easily guess the outcomes, this very point made for excellent foreshadowing.
Truly this show deserves all the praise and frankly is underrated. It is one of kind in the Xianxia category/

Amazing xianxia show
The Story is quite nuanced from the beginning with the concept of prejudices and presuming what is 'evil' has to be evil and what is presumed 'good' is always good. It subverts the tropes of 'Damsel in Distress' and even in some places portray the trope of 'Distressed Dudes'. The protagonists are quite strong on their own as well as the Antogonists are quite flushed out in case of their motivations to carry out certain actions. The casting director nailed on the chemistry between the actors and the writers achieved the feat of excellently blending in humor, character development and Depth. The set pieces, props, lighhting and costumes are quite beautiful and match evenly with the ambience of the scene. The CGI at times is a bit lacking at times and the explosions seem a bit 'unrealistic' and 'set off'. The ending is a bit bizarre with a few plot holes (caused due to the back and forth story telling). But this is no reason to put you off from watching this epic. If you like watching romance that does not deviate from the formula, but is unique in its own right; You should definitely check this out.

Amazing Pacing of the Story
The story is beautifully told and the CGI Comparing
to the other cdrama is quite adequate although it lacks a little in some places. You can truly feel every emotion with the character as the writers spend time developing them. But the primary emotion that strikes hard is grief and separation. The common theme in the show revolves around love and sacrifice, which is a beautiful message to convey especially if your protagonists are powerful Gods. Xu Kai charmingly potrays Bai Jue with sincerity and Truth, Zhou Dongyu perfectly captures the playfulness of a young person. Some other Notable performances that must be praised are Liu Xueyi and Jenny Zhang respectively. You will be hooked from the start and end up binge watching it within a day or two.
