Nope (2022)
Too many props.
The themes about exploitation to achieve fame is good. My dislikes are with the subplot characters. They just seemed like props whose only purpose was to be sacrificed. I really didn't care about those characters enough to care if their screentime came to an end.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
It's good enough but flawed
I thought the payoff was cut short. Really felt there wasn't any need for the suit. Unless her powers were gone but she was flying without it. Confusing. Script needed a to be tightened up.

Unique experience
This show is unique. It's got a great cast and really smart writing. It's down to earth, funny yet Sci Fi. Go binge this.
Afflicted (2013)
Found footage at its best
Don't miss this one. The movie will keep you guessing until the end.
You're Next (2011)
Slasher that keeps on giving
This movie is a ride from the beginning. It has some excellent twists and if you like slasher and home invasion films. You will probably like this one. It does contain plenty of gore. Just a friendly warning.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
A crazy ride through Hollywood hills
You will watch this movie and get turned on your head at the end. Tarantino is an auteur and best in the business.
The Hole in the Ground (2019)
This kid needs to be grounded
I liked this movie. It reminded me a little of a certain Stephen King movie. I won't say which one. I recommend it
What Men Want (2019)
A waisted cast. A lousy Script (multiple writers usually spells trouble)
The cast has a ton of talent but their performances can't save this dud of a movie. I will sum this up. Girl gets guy. Girl loses guy, Girl gets guy. Girl is discriminated against. Girl proves guys wrong. Girl gets promoted. Girl turns down promotion. Girl gets her own business and quits company. Predictable. Overacted. See something else.
Howl (2015)
Howwwwwl! Is excellent
This movie is like Train to Busain with werewolves.
Absentia (2011)
Mike Flanagan
I can't wait for Doctor Sleep. I hope to have finished the book by then. Absentia is about two sisters who discover people are going missing. The older sister's husband has been missing for seven years and she suspects he's dead. I'll stop there. You won't be able to guess how this ends but it's incredible what Mike Flanagan is able to accomplish on such a modest budget.
The Monster (2016)
Excellent monster movie
A disfunctional family drama with a sprinkle of monster. Very good.
