Definitely The Best Out of All The Disney - Star Wars Serials
Incredibly well produced series prequel to Rogue One with a great cast, beautiful imagery...all of it is stellar. However, as a stickler for details, I find the technology to be fairly ludicrous. I get that the designers were likely trying to remain in-step with the original films which having been made in the 1970's, all looked quite futuristic (Empire Strikes Back was my very first film experience; my father and I stood in a line for tickets that stretched down 2 entire NYC avenues when it opened in Times Square back in May of 1980) however in this present age of high-res touchscreen prevalence (on which many of us are likely watching said series) those same silly, basic red and blue button panels, repurposed video switchers, and screens that look as though they might be more at home on top of an Apple IIc, all just look a little ridiculous. Especially considering how far into the future this is meant to take place. I realize how dumb it is to get hung up on these aspects but, even as a child watching these films I would get hung up the poor fool seated in front of an unlabeled grid of uniform buttons, wondering what their job could possibly consist of.
Other than this, I love this show.

Not Unlike Spending ½ An Hour In The Florescent Lit, Beige Walled Waiting Room Of Some Random Small-town Dentist In The Midwest
If it weren't for Jim Carrey's presence, this blandest of sitcoms would've long since been forgotten. Unfortunately, his part was written for a "straight man" (in the comedic sense), so all the qualities that usually make him funny are completely absent here. But then, neither are any of the other parts. Granted, nearly four decades have elapsed since this show aired so some of the sentiment I've just expressed can be chalked up to the fact that humor from such a distant era doesn't translate into something modern viewers will be able to relate to at all. The creators of these types of generic sitcoms weren't very adventurous so don't expect to find some 80s gem, showcasing Jim Carrey's raw talent.
