Titane (2021)
Had High Hopes
It looked like it was going to be amazing, but some pretty visuals and good actors couldn't save this exercise and shock value and pretension. Some interesting ideas traumatizing body dysmorphia but overall a complete disappointment.
I Care a Lot (2020)
A Twisted Work of Art
I haven't seen a movie this original in a very long time. Much of it is infuriating and I wanted to strangler the lead characters; some of the most detestable people I've ever seen portrayed in a film. Expertly crafted with a wicked sense of humor.
Free Radio (2007)
Cancelled way to soon. Needs to come back
I loved this show and it was gone easy too soon. Bring er back.
Cuck (2019)
Important addition to the conversation
This film takes an unflinching look into the psyche of a dispossessed young man searching for his place in life, searching for his identity. It dramatizes an important archetype in American culture that is sick. The story telling is compassionate to it's subjects, as revolting as they may be to most people. It's the denial of their humanity that's making them sick. Unapologetic, this film is important and a work of art.
