The Idol (2023)
Y'all aren't giving this show enough time to form an opinion
This show is getting so many bad reviews only because The Weeknd's character isn't what you expected. He's SUPPOSED to be wooden and untrustworthy right now. He's a sneaky snake. I love Lily-Rose's depth of her character and showing how life as a famous singer can really take a toll on a person. AND ITS ONLY BEEN 2 EPISODES! Lord people, calm down.
Also, PLEASE give us more of Dan Levy. I have missed him so much since Schitt's Creek! The other supporting cast are a really good mix.
Can't wait to see what happens with that girl working with Tedros and getting a record deal with Jocelyn's manager behind Jocelyn's back.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
One of the greatest things I have witnessed in Star Wars since the OG trilogy
A literal masterpiece. Had a vibe like A New Hope with a twist. The last 8 mins are the greatest thing I have seen in Star Wars since the original trilogy. Love, sacrifice, honor, friendship, heroes, villains, LIGHTSABERS, and LUKE SKYWALKER in his prime!!! Grogu meeting R2 for the first time made it all the more heartwarming.
Sextuplets (2019)
Don't listen to the negativity!
This is a funny, feel good film! My husband and I cracked up during the whole thing. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews here. I guess you either love Wayans brothers comedy or you don't. But if you do, you'll love this too! It may not be as raunchy as previous films, but I didn't see anything wrong with that. Give it a chance. The only similarity to the Nutty Professor/The Klumps are obviously that one actor plays most characters.
The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
Reels you in til the end!
I binge watched the entire season for over 10 hours straight. I never do that! It was one of the best of any horror production (tv or movie) that I've ever seen. I love horror but it's usually jump scares and/or gore anymore and this show really knew how to get you by doing it so subtly along with a great story that hasn't been reused over and over! You really feel for these characters and once you start watching, you're reeled in for the entire season. You won't want to stop watching!
Haunting Sarah (2005)
Awesome Lifetime Halloween movie
Haunting Sarah was an awesome TV movie. It was totally different from all the other Lifetime movies! It had a great story line. A bit of drama in with thriller/horror. The girl playing Sarah did a great job. The ending is very surprising! This movie should have been in theaters! I suggest you watch it on Lifetime sometime this October since it is their new Halloween movie this year. It is based on a novel called "New Year's Eve" by Lisa Grunwald. I haven't read it yet. I definitely will give it a try though! This movie was sad, yet scary at the same time. Sarah and David are best friends; their mothers are identical twins. They are 7 years old, and one day David gets hit by a truck and is killed. Now Sarah is haunted by David (obviously from the title) and he wont let her go. He wants to be born again. This movie will make you think!
