Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
Decent to start a new Trilogy, but it copies too much from the Original
I went to see the film that was a must see in December and in all honesty was shaking with anticipation as soon as the opening credits rolled. However this soon gave way to confusion as the film borrows heavily from A New Hope. A hero gives a droid a piece of critical information and the droid stumbles upon a person who can help them. Wow, the same plot to Episode IV. Towards the middle of the film, when Rey is given the light saber that once belonged to Luke, how was it recovered since it would be falling through the atmosphere of Cloud City. The new sith bitch, Kylo Ren was the whiniest little prick in the film. He has daddy issues, like Luke. And don't get me started on the new Death Star. I did like the part when Han and Chewie were back on the Falcon. Overall, it is the same as the original trilogy, just made for a new age.
Peter Pan Live! (2014)
Terrible Movie, Don't waste your time
I liked the Peter Pan that Disney produced in 1953, I liked the animation and the story line. Captain Hook's fear of the crocodile was hilarious and Mr. Smee was the comic relief for the pirates. This NBC version is far from great, it was terrible. I watched about 5 minutes at a time because my sister recorded it. She loved it and constantly sang the annoying songs over and over. Ms. Williams Peter Pan was overly cocky and tried to be center of attention the entire time. Christopher Walken showed little emotion and was horrible in this role. He did other brilliant movies, this isn't one of them. The crocodile was a robot controlled by people and Hook did not willing give up his ship. IN SHORT, don't bother to watch if you liked the Disney version.
Hogan's Heroes (1965)
One of the best shows ever
WARNING SPOILERS Hogan 's Heroes is one of the best shows and in my opinion and should have kept going for several more seasons. One of my favorite episodes is when Shultz becomes the commandant the camp and he abuses his power immediately and Hogan and his men plead to have Klink back in command. Overall, one of the best shows in syndication and best of all time.If you like comedy and ww2 you should like Hogans heroes. The reason I gave it an 8 and not the coveted 10 was because of Sgt. Baker who replaced Sgt. Kinchloe in season 6. I didn't care for this move at all. I liked colonel Klink and Hogan the best. Hogan almost always got the better of Klink. But Klink needed Hogans help to remain in control. The cast was extremely well cast and a great show.
