Earwig and the Witch (2020 TV Movie)

It's definitely different from other ghibli movies

After watching the movie I was REALLY surprised to find that there were so many bad reviews :( I mean I was laughing and engaged the whole movie and I LOVED Earwig. When I first saw the trailer I was very disappointed that it was CGI, since Studio Ghibli is known for how beautiful their 2D movies are, but genuinely the CGI held up! It was so pretty and colorful and whimsical I thought it carried the Ghibli legacy wonderfully!! I think a lot of people might dislike it because the way the plot moves is very odd and it doesn't really do what you want it to at times, but that's really one of my favorite things about this movie! It's kinda like the main character (who's very charismatic) happened upon a traditional Ghibli plot but didn't pay it much concern because she had other priorities. I highly recommend this movie :)

As soon as the trailer dropped I was mad excited to see this- I'm flat out in love with Miss Caroline and I will be watching this every Halloween 👍🏼👍🏼

Literally just so good. Woke my sister up to tell her i love her. Called my mom. Drank some water. Some of my acne cleared up. I'm so happy that this show exists. Damn.
