The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)

Fun for the whole family!

I grew up on Nintendo and understood the Easter eggs throughout the entire film. If you kids of the '80s grew up on Nintendo, then you gotta check this movie out. I even got to meet Charles Martinet, back in 2018 at a video game expo. This is nothing like the 1993 Super Mario Bros. Movie, which was released by Disney under the Hollywood Pictures banner. This movie was released by Universal Pictures in partnership with Nintendo. What's even better is that you got a star-studded voice cast. Jack Black did a good job voicing King Koopa. Keegan Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi and Chris Pratt as Mario.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022)

This movie is so awesome! Anyone who grew up on the SEGA game should check this movie out! You got Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman and you got Idris Elba as the voice of Knuckles. I have been a fan of that lovable hedgehog ever since the first video game was released.

I loved this movie! I grew up playing the video game! The fun part of the game is that you play the role of a monster on the loose, where you can smash buildings and eat people who are trying to shoot you down and throw bombs at you! Unlike the game, they're not humans turned into monsters as a result of a scientific experiment that went terribly wrong.

Superb Fun

From the creative minds of Jack Barry and Dan Enright, this children's game basis becomes a quiz show. This is a really nice game show format. I saw this when I was like about 3 years old. This game is unique in its own way. Right after beating your opponent, you get to play a bonus game called "Beat The Dragon". I named the dragon "Bowser", because in the graphics of the computers at that time, he somewhat looked like King Bowser from Super Mario Bros.

The video arcade game manufacturer Merit Industries made a similar video game machine called "Tic Tac Trivia". I once played that as a child in the summer of 1987.

Tic Tac Dough deserves to stay on GSN. Now that I got a satellite dish and GSN, I can enjoy this version. As a video gamer, I think Tic Tac Dough should be available as a digital download for the PlayStation Network service for PS3 and the XBOX Live Arcade Service for XBOX 360.

Best Damn Sports Sim of the NFL, Period!

I love this game. This game is way better than Madden! I always play as the Philadelphia Eagles, who are my favourite NFL team. The game load screen is entertaining with Chris Berman (a.k.a. Boomer). Suzy Kolber is also included at the sidelines. The stadium renderings are crisp. The graphics are so lifelike. There are also celebrity challenges. You can also access "THE CRIB". Each game you play, you earn Crib credits. You can buy things to deck out your crib. For every milestone achieved in the game, you earn a trophy. The in-game commentary is awesome, by Dan Stevens and Peter O'Keefe, who also did the commentary since the NFL 2K series premiere on the Sega Dreamcast. I also own NFL 2K2 on my PlayStation 2 & First-Original NFL 2K on my Sega Dreamcast.

Miracle (2004)

The best since "Mighty Ducks"!

This is another one of these true sports story flicks. All of that has actually happened when I was born. This film is Kurt Russell at his very best. I loved Kurt Russell in his earlier Disney films. Russell portrays late coach, Herb Brooks. Brooks wanted to change a style of play in Olympic Hockey. He chose amateur players, instead of Pro players. This is a perfect family film. Sit through the film ending and it tells you where those players are now. (Just like Remember The Titans)

This film is basically about the USA and their victory over the then-Soviet Hockey team. This film has an awesome opening which is a timeline of what happened up till 1980.

Glory Road (2006)

Simply the best, since "Remember The Titans".

I just caught this flick. This movie is so awesome. Like "Remember The Titans", this film was also produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It's basically about a high school girls' basketball coach, who coaches Texas Western basketball team. He scouts mostly African-American boys with full basketball potential. This film is basically "Remember The Titans" with basketball, mainly because this film contains ethnic issues. Many viewers will be horrified with the use of ethnic slurs. The story takes place in the 1960's. You should see the ending sequence, because it simply tells you where those basketball players are now. (Just like Miracle, Rookie & Remember The Titans).

Asterix and Cleopatra (1968)

Asterix rocks!

I once saw this film on Disney Channel when I was only 9. I got this disc from work for only $1! It is a complete version. I LOVE Asterix! I love the part when he drinks the magic potion and the power-up effects. Obelix is so funny, especially when he waits in the queue for the magic potion. Getafix refuses Obelix and told him that Obelix fell into the potion when he was a baby. Cacofonix always "strangled the cat". Vitalstatistix, the Gaulish leader always worries about "The sky falling on his head". The main story is that Caesar, Asterix's arch-nemesis, made a bet with Cleopatra about building a palace. Edifis is an Egyptian architect, who is building a palace in a 3-month deadline. If architects completed the job on time, they were covered with gold. If not, they were thrown to the crocodiles. As an Asterix lover, I got some comics and video games. I got "Asterix and the Great Rescue" for my Sega Genesis and Sega Game Gear. I just got "Asterix and Obelix Kick Buttix" for the PlayStation 2.

Hoodwinked! (2005)

Computer animation and a classic tale make for animated hilarity.

I saw this film last night and it was so hilarious. I love the Big Bad Wolf especially with an afro playing basketball. The motor-mouthed squirrel, as voiced by Andy Dick was cute. You also have an amphibious detective, voiced by David Ogden Stiers. The police bear, voiced by Xzibit was so hilarious. Little Red, as voiced by Anne Hathaway was cool. There's a downhill skiing, snowboarding, extreme sport-loving granny, as voiced by Glenn Close. The 3 little pigs were cops. This film is about the recipe sharing granny. The woodsman, as voiced by Jim Belushi was a trip. I highly recommend this film for those who love Shrek 1 & 2.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)

Best fantasy/children's flick!

I just saw this flick and it was awesome. When I was 10 years old, I saw the animated version of this on The Disney Channel. Aslan is a really majestic and regal lion. The evil white witch thinks she is the queen. The four children, Peter, Edmond, Susan & Lucy are sent to a hostel when a war breaks out. Lucy plays in the hostel and notices a magical wardrobe. The wardrobe takes the 4 children to the magical kingdom of Narnia. Whoever defeated the evil white witch ruled Narnia and restored peace and order.

This film is loosely based on the C.S. Lewis novel. I highly recommend this film for everyone. If you like fantasy flicks like the Harry Potter series, you will find this film enjoyable.

The Love Bug (1969)

Love That Volkswagen!

I loved this film and always will love it. I got the complete sets on video until the recent release of "Herbie Fully Loaded" I love that Tennessee Steinmetz, as portrayed by Buddy Hackett. He knows how to "love" a car. I like the antics of David Tomlinson, who portrayed Thorndyke, Havershaw, as portrayed by Joe Flynn is Thorndyke's stupid servant, . I loved the words of wisdom by Mr. Wu, as portrayed by Benson Fong. Herbie, as portrayed by the VW Bug, "hates" Thorndyke. The most dramatic scene was when Herbie "attempts" suicide. Jim Douglas, as portrayed by Dean Jones develops the love for the little car. I hated when Thorndyke beats Herbie and gets the car drunk. I had an aunt from India and she loved this film.

The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit (1968)

Perfect for the whole family.

I saw this film from the library. I loved it. This is a Dean Jones and "Herbie" flick. But this Herbie which I am talking about is his dog, not his car. Ellen Janov portrayed the teenage daughter, Helen Bolton. Kurt Russell did a really good part as Ronnie Gardner, Helen Bolton's boyfriend. Dean Jones is really fun to watch. He portrays Fred Bolton, who works for a pharmaceutical company. Aspercel is the name of the horse. I love the setting of this film. Like all Disney Classic live movies, I find this one enjoyable. I've always loved Dean Jones and Kurt Russell. Suzy Clemens, portrayed by Diane Baker is the equestrian instructor. She teaches how to ride a horse. If you see this movie, you'll be entertained.

Love this game!

This is the real must-have for hardcore 2D fighting fans. I love that idea of Capcom V. SNK. I got this game for my PlayStation 2.

I loved playing Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition on the Sega Genesis and in the arcades.

I also loved Street Figher 2 Turbo on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

I also loved the King of Fighters '99, Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury series and World Heroes.

It all started with X-Men V. Street Fighter, Marvel V. Capcom & Marvel Super Heroes V. Street Fighter.

I once went to the arcade and played X-Men v. Street Fighter and whupped my opponent's booty.

Sonic & Knuckles (1994 Video Game)

Lock On!

This is a cool game. I got this for my Sega Mega Drive/Genesis system. This was the only cassette to utilise the Lock-on Technology. This feature allowed to play as Knuckles in Sonic 2 & 3. Here is a really cool feature: Lock-on with Sonic 1 and you can practise some bonus stages. To do this, power on the Mega Drive/Genesis with Sonic & Knuckles game linked to Sonic 1, hit start when the screen says "NO WAY!"

Knuckles looks so cute whenever he did his shadow boxing gesture (a.k.a. the "Put up your dukes" gesture). All you had to do was let him stand still for about 10 seconds and you could see him do that. He can also plough through stones. I love how Knuckles glides.

DuckTales (1987–1990)

A family-friendly programme.

I loved this show! I still love it now. I was SO much into Duck Tales. Gizmoduck was cool. Launchpad McQuack was a wild pilot. Uncle Scrooge is the richest uncle everybody would want to have. I once visited India and this show was available in Hindi, as televised on "Disney Hour" and "Good Morning Disney" on the Zee Television Network. I also love the Duck Tales video games on the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy, as published by Capcom, before Disney Interactive was formed. I love Duckworth, Scrooge's butler. I loathe those Beagle Boys. They're a bunch of escaped convicts. I loved Gyro Gearloose, the inventor. Huey, Dewey & Louie were nice kids. Webbigail was a spoiled brat, but she was cool. Mrs. Beakly was their nanny. I gotta get this on DVD.

The House of the Dead 2 (1999 Video Game)

Best bet to keep nightmares away.

I got this game for my Sega Dreamcast. I also have it for my PC. I have played this game with a friend at a local arcade. I really love their other game called: Typing of the Dead. I got that demo on my PC. I am currently looking for a Dreamcast keyboard and the Typing of the Dead game. I also played the original House of the Dead at an arcade. I think Sega makes really good games, but bad consoles. They really flopped with the Saturn, 32X, Sega CD and Master System. The Genesis and Dreamcast sold fairly well. Because I love this series so much, I gotta get an XBOX and House of the Dead III. I also played House of the Dead III in the arcades. Vampire Night was a joint project between Sega and Namco.

Charlotte's Web (1973)

Perfect for all ages.

I just love this book-to-movie translation. I never knew John Arabel was voiced by that same guy who did Dr. Quest from Jonny Quest. I love that goose, especially when she says "Aren't you glad, glad, glad?" Templeton is a lazy rat who loves to eat rotten food. Fern is such a sweetheart. She hates injustice. I love the creativity of Charlotte A. Cavatica, the spider. I never knew Don Messick voiced Jeffrey, the gosling runt. When you look at the setting of the film, it looks more like the farmland of Lancaster County in Pennsylvania. The fairground settings look like the Pennsylvania farm show. I love the composition of the Sherman brothers, known for Disney's soundtracks. This film teaches all about life, in other words, I HIGHLY recommend it.

The Cell (2000)

This Movie Sucks!

Anybody who wants to see this film, I advise you to stay away from this. This film is horrible! I have seen this and fell asleep. This film is really appalling and crappy. It doesn't even deserve any award. This film lacks a storyline. If you see this, you'll be bored to death. The director of this film cannot even direct. Jennifer Lopez cannot even act. If you own this on VHS or DVD, burn it. Dispose of it. Do not even rent it. This film is a waste of your time. it is not even worth your money. I'd rather not watch this again. This film will put you to sleep. It is like nobody speaks English in this film. My father saw it and he complained about it.

Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994)

Time-pass flick

I love this Movie. Akshay Kumar as Inspector Karan Joglekar and Saif Ali Khan as actor Deepak Kumar form the Dream Team. Shilpa Shetty's double role as Mona/Basanti. Kader Khan's double role is so hilarious. Shakti Kapoor as Goli, the Underworld Don kills Arjun Joglekar, Karan's brother. Shivangi as portrayed by Raageshwari, has the hots for Deepak Kumar. I love Deepak Kumar's disguises. Johnny Lever as Dhansukh, Deepak's servant is a real trip. I highly recommend this film. Goli's thugs decide to rob an amusement park as they call it "Disney World". Raageshwari is so cute and adorable. My brother loves this film too, as well as my aunt and cousin sister. This film is a doozy.

The Chipmunk Adventure (1987)

Favourite Childhood movie.

I loved this movie when I was a kid. I saw it theatrically. Randy Edelman did a good composition of the soundtrack. David Seville is the Chipmunks' father and recording manager. The Chipmunks consist of Alvin, who is best known for playing the harmonica, Simon, who is a bright and studious chipmunk & Theodore, who is the youngest and is always hungry. There is a lady known as Miss Miller, who looks after the chipmunks and has 3 daughters known as Brittany, Jeanette & Eleanor, who all have the same character as the Chipmunks. My favourite songs from this soundtrack include "Diamond Dolls", The Girls of Rock & Roll", & the touching "My Mother". Alvin really wanted to see Europe when Dave had to go there for business. The Chipmunks meet the Chipettes playing the Around the World in 30 days video game which led them to race each other doing the real thing.

Andaz Apna Apna (1994)

Hilarious Hindi Film

I love this film. Shehzad Khan's portrayal as Bhalla a.k.a. "Shut up, Robert!" was so hilarious. Whenever he got hit during a fight scene, you could hear him squeal. Viju Khote is the dumbfounded Robert a.k.a. "Rabbit". I love that Shakti Kapoor a.k.a. "Crime Master Gogo". Paresh Rawal's double role is so awesomely hilarious for his portrayal as Ramgopal Bajaj & Shyamgopal Bajaj. Raveena Tandon and Karishma Kapoor are out of this world. My brother does a really good mimicry of Bhalla saying. "Relax. PLEASE relax." I love the scene in which Aamir Khan puts a laxative in Salman "Muscles" Khan's food which caused the irregular bowel movements forcing him to use the toilet umpteen number of times.

Herbie Fully Loaded (2005)

Herbie takes on NASCAR!

I just saw this flick. I love those antics of that Volkswagen. IT drives you instead of YOU driving IT. Lindsey Lohan and Herbie get attached to each other. He starts out in a junkyard and does his usual antics when strangers come across him. I've seen the original Herbie movies and loved every moment of them. My personal favourite films are Love Bug & Herbie Rides Again. I even saw the film made only for TV which premiered on ABC. That was the one that told how Herbie got it's "life" and got an evil twin named Horace the Hate Bug. If you love all these Herbie films, then you have got to see this one. This is a real doozy.

The Revenge of Shinobi (1989 Video Game)

Great sequel.

I love this game. Put an end to the vile terror organisation known as "Neo-Zeed" I got this game for my PC and my Sega MegaDrive(Genesis). I just have to find the first-original Shinobi for my Sega Master System. I love the music as composed by Koshirosan. Ironically, the villains in this game were Batman, Godzilla, Spider-Man & The Incredible Hulk. I laughed when I faced those bosses. Shinobi has always been and always will be the best game series in years to come. I also own Shadow Dancer for my Genesis. I also must get Shinobi III. You are Joe Musashi, a martial arts teacher. This is one of the best Genesis launch titles. Before owning a Genesis, This game was in Sega Smash Pack Volume one for the PC.
