Better Call Saul: Saul Gone (2022)
Satisfying
This finale proved that it didn't need death and chaos shoved into a barrage of twists and turns in order to be a satisfying conclusion to this long 14 year long story.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
It's believable, but they could've done better
I would've liked to see the fallout from Dexter (almost definitely) being recognized as the true Bay Harbor Butcher. Could've been as simple as a news headline or Batista at a press conference. Otherwise, I can see most of the negative reviews being a reaction to Dexter's fate. The reasoning surrounding it makes sense to me; Harrison was never able to move on from his father leaving his life before. Now that they've reunited, and especially after Dexter helped Harrison realize the nature behind his own dark tendencies, Harrison would never be able to lead a normal life unless Dexter was dead. In such a terrible situation, Dexter being convicted with life in prison would haunt Harrison forever. Though Harrison will definitely NOT live a totally normal life, he won't have to face the consequences of the "sins of the father". The ending makes sense, but I really do think they could've come up with something better. I feel really bad for the makers of the show and especially MCH, who supposedly approved the script before he agreed to do the show. A solid nine episodes concluded by a "meh" finale is depressing, but, oh well. An okay ending that could've been so much more.
Sing (2016)
Several flaws
I went and saw this movie with my mother, her friend, her friend's daughters and my sister. With no exaggeration at all, I was literally sitting through over half the movie waiting to tell them all how bad I thought it was.
Now, the movie is not horrible. It's just not good. It felt like the writers didn't think ahead as much as they needed to, and they just slapped some cliché characters with a theme and went from there. The cliché characters happen to be the greedy guy, the shy girl, the guy with dad issues, the teen, etc. The only character that I actually liked was Mike, even though he was a jerk.
The movie felt really boring at most parts, I rarely felt interest or a liking in any character. Overall the film was not what I expected.
Suicide Squad (2016)
Good but not great
To be honest, I am really disappointing. The beginning was promising as it introduces our heroes (villains*) and how they previously were put in prison, it gave me chills after briefly featuring The Flash and Batman, which, along with the good editing, was no match for the disappointing remainder of the film.
My complaints overall: - Slipknot being introduced in several different articles and trailers before, only to be featured in the movie to be killed off for the purpose of scaring the Suicide Squad.
- Enchantress being the villain after being shown previously to be a member of the squad.
- Killer Croc probably had less than 5 lines in the whole movie.
- Deadshot hardly wore that awesome white mask of his.
- Harley Quinn did not change at all, and remained the same crazy character which appeared funny and interesting in the beginning-middle -ish parts of the movie, but soon died down.
- The middle of the movie.
- The end of the movie.
- The mutant creatures that were clearly easy enough to be killed by a wooden baseball bat.
- Enchantress as the second villain form.
- The brother, an ancient god, easy enough to be killed by a bomb.
- Rick Flag, the special ops trained soldier, easily dragged away by the mutant creatures as oppose to a woman with a wooden baseball bat.
- The Joker survived the helicopter crash/ jumping out from the helicopter, especially without any kind of visible wounds.
Overall I am glad that I got to see the movie, and also glad that we had free tickets to see it.
The 100: Fallen (2016)
Ignore the low reviews. They are from people who are unable to move on.
I never thought The 100 "fan" base would come to this. Dropping the ratings over one character's death that occurred many episodes ago. Apparently the community consists of 90% LGBT activists ever since the word got out that Clarke and Lexa were a lesbian couple. And after Lexa was killed off, Rothenberg had been receiving so much hate, with a bonus of Ricky Whittle's claim that he was "bullied" off of the show, even though he had a reason by moving on to another show called American Gods. This episode was a great one, no problems were established by the end (at least problems that shouldn't still be frustrating the viewers) and the main antagonist was incapacitated by one of the greatest ambushes in TV history. But as the ratings drop, I still sit down calmly and wonder, "Why must all the viewers act as if they were infants?"
Gravity Falls: Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back the Falls (2016)
The perfect ending :)
I have watched many shows, but the ending Gravity Falls provided us was above and beyond than all the others. I wish I could give this episode, and even the show overall a higher score than 10. I loved every single one of the characters' endings, but the one I loved the most was Stanley and Stanfords. I wonder what is in the arctic ocean that Stanley and Stanford left for, but maybe some day Alex will reveal this secret to us. The fact that Wendy switched hats with Dipper was amazing, the fact that Stanley and Stanford got Waddles to be able to come back to California with Mabel was great (even though Stanford threatened the bus driver with a gun and Stanley threatened the bus driver with brass knuckles), and the fact that Stan had his mind erased to destroy Bill, which topped most of today's main villain deaths, was heroic, and I'm very grateful Stan got his mind back. The fact that greedy Pacifica was removed from her spoiled life and Old Man McGucket was provided with his new, happy life was fantastic. This show was a great one, and I hope Alex Hirsch goes on to create more shows, because this one was one of the most interesting and well done of our time. I love this show and I will dearly miss it.
Tu xia chuan qi (2011)
Horrible
We watched this movie on our way back home from a vacation. It was horrible. One thing that bothered us is that the lipping was WAY off. We don't know if it was originally a Chinese movie but was translated to English, but if it was I don't blame it. It also had very poor voice actors, (ex. Rebecca Black) I am actually a big fan of Jon Heder but this was a huge disappointment. It was actually so bad that we only watched the first 10-15 minutes of it. We watched it before we watched Horrid Henry (which turned out to be the worst movie I have ever seen in my life) and we even managed to watch THAT (the whole movie) but this movie was not good at all and isn't worth the money to rent or buy it. Don't watch.
Regular Show (2010)
Best show I have ever watched
This show is a masterpiece. I've watched it since the beginning and every episode I have enjoyed. I love other CN shows like Adventure Time and (sometimes) Clarence, Amazing World of Gumball, etc but none of them have come even close to how amazing this show is. It is hilarious, creative, and anything but regular! I'd give this a 500/10 if I could. The show is about a blue jay and a raccoon named Mordecai and Rigby who work at a park. Their misadventures are super funny and enjoyable. The only thing about this show I don't really like is whenever good characters (ex. Margaret) are switched with other ones (CJ). I like both of those characters but I always prefer Margaret. This show is such a good show and the best on CN in years.
The Lego Movie (2014)
Beyond what I expected from watching trailer
From watching the trailer from this movie, I thought it was going to be a action-only lego war-ish movie that had no story. I was incredibly wrong. This was such a funny and creative movie.
*SPOILERS*
The movie is about a normal LEGO construction worker named Emmet who lives in the city of Bricksburg. The citizens there follow instructions on how to live life made by "President" Business. When Emmet meets a master builder named Wyldstyle who claims he is the "special", the one who is the most interesting, extraordinary, amazing person in the universe, and tells him about "Tako Tuesday", a day where "Lord Business" (President Businesses other title) has plans to unleash a super weapon called the Kraggle (which is actually glue) on all worlds in the universe. So it is up to Emmet to put the "peace of resistance" (which is the Kraggle's cap) on the Kraggle to save the universe.
*SPOILERS OVER*
This movie was very creative and funny, enjoyable for all ages. I loved this movie!
Jessie (2011)
Not good, but entertains.
This isn't the greatest show, but it's like a show where if you had nothing to watch, you'd choose to watch this. It's not really good, for lots of reasons.
*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
The children are completely spoiled and misbehaved.
Jessie barely ever cares what happens at their school (ex. Bullying)
The show is super cliché and predictable.
And other reasons.
*SPOILERS END HERE*
It's not that this show is terrible, it's just not very good. I'd choose to watch it if nothing else was on, but probably not enjoy it much. But it's great for kids.
