Griff Off the Rails: Down Under (2020)
Very informative television series
There seems to be an influx of British television shows with elderly male hosts travelling around Australia lately and this is one of them. Griff of the rails is very informative and he travels to places that most other British travel shows don't go to. I think Australians would already know about most of the places Griff travels to but I think everyone else will learn something new.
Bargain Hunt (2000)
Okay show if nothing else is on
The problem with Bargain Hunt is the two teams have to purchase three items from an antique market or an antique store as in some episodes and pay retail price for the items and then take the items to auction and sell them in a room where there are as few as six people and the people who go to the auctions are owners of antique stores or stall holders at antique markets who want to pay as little as they can for the items so the teams usually make very little or no profit at all. And the antique experts can't agree on what the items are worth. Every episode is pretty much the same, they go to the same markets and they buy the same antiques.
Fresh Off the Boat (2015)
Another unfunny American sitcom
Maybe you have to be American to get the jokes but if you live outside North America the jokes just fall flat and are not funny at all.
Rabbit (2017)
Incredibly boring movie
Unfortunately a lot of Australian movies are only made to keep actors and film crews employed and this is one of them. If South Australian taxpayers didn't pay for this movie it would never have been made. The fact that the movie had a very limited release in South Australia where it was made and was shown very late at night on television two years after it's release says it all. Give this movie a miss.
