Hell on Earth: The Fall of Syria and the Rise of ISIS (2017)
Well Made but Grossly Biased
I'm going to keep this brief.
This was a well produced Documentary. The cinematography was amazing as was the editing and flow of film sequences. What I also liked was the video footage of the aftermath of air-strikes, which painted a vivid, emotionally charged picture in the viewers mind. In actuality this bothered me somewhat for if it hadn't been biased I most likely wouldn't have felt so angered and more so saddened by the circumstance.
The documentary barely talked about Syria and mostly about Iraq where ISIL, Da'esh supposedly stemmed from after taking over Iraqi military locations, stealing weapon depots and finally making their way back to Syria. This I found grossly lacking in info.
An interviewer then went on to say Assad created ISIS, which is completely and utterly wrong. Nowhere can I find from freelance journalists that Assad was the 'CAUSE' of ISIS. Instead, this was the 'only' thing the documentary mentioned regarding the rise of ISIS. Of course taxation of Da'esh held areas and capturing oil fields fueled ISIS. However, they NEVER talked about who bought this oil or who covertly funds ISIS nor the geopolitical agendas of western and eastern proxies in the war.
They mostly filmed the FSA, which has many good people in opposition of Assad but who also mingles with Al Nusra Front and Al Qaeda who want a caliphate and would behead anyone that they deemed obsolete.
In conclusion, this documentary paints a perspective of the FSA and the salifist movement and how they've been bombarded with Barrel bombs by the SAA. The documentary talks about ISIS in general terms and mostly uses videos that are not even remotely related or in the locations that they say they are, which maddened me.
I hoped to see an unbiased documentary on the war with both Interviews in government held areas, the Syrian Army fighting ISIS as well as the FSA and other opposition groups. I also wanted at least a small portion dedicated to geopolitical agendas of Qatar and Saudi Arabia who fund ISIS covertly. Instead, they painted Saudi Arabia as the good guys, stating that "they had their warplanes ready when Assad started to bomb his people," This made it seem that Saudi Arabia had a stake in the war 'ONLY' for humanitarian reasons, lol. It isn't as simple as that, I am disappointed in this propaganda.
Westworld (2016)
Marxist, contrived feminist propaganda
Full blown AIDS feminism Logic?? Forget about it; next level LSD hyperspace. They have that mud slide like black robot chick walking in real-world manipulating some pussy-whipped Chinese guy into changing her programming code and no one at Disney central command even notices that kind of alarming behavior even though they monitor EACH ROBOT UNIT. I'm not even talking about the rest of this la-la land where nothing makes sense. I'm seriously, dumbfounded how this show acquired close to a 10 rating. The west worlds conformist mentality must really be just that, ignorant conformist drones.
Boring, painfully boring, painfully boring i literally fast forwarded each episode. thank god its free on the internet The whole deal is just a constant eye-roller. the retarded twists are illogical and forced. The show has no plot. It's just a mix of retarded feminist fantasies, men-hating and pile-on of random dumb crap.
If you are against white men, like inter-racial orgies, are a hyper-feminist cultural Marxist, then this show is for you.
Seriously, watching 10 episodes made me grow a placenta. My estrogen went through the roof. You'd think because of my aggressiveness and anger it would be my testosterone but this show seriously sucks you into an elitist, feminist hell hole that ultimately causes you to question your sexuality. Good thing I was in dat aware beta stage and not alpha or I'd be done f*caked. If you support values, morals and the structure of a family, please do not watch this. If you support the trafficking of babies then by all means watch it.
HyperNormalisation (2016)
Mis-interpretation of the past w/ blatant propaganda
It is a mis-interpretation of the past, if not outright status-quo propaganda.
The documentary has these enormous suppositions that come from.. out of someone's ass perhaps? Um, excuse me, I grew up in the eighties and nineties, and to put a blanket statement over the entire western culture that everyone gave up hope of better things in the nineties is utter farcical bull crap. Really? The stock market was booming, (due to interest rate manipulation by the fed) the internet and bio-pharma boom was happening, and this film states that "everyone gave up ideas of a better future???" It then plays some movie clips over and over again and subsequently shows 9/11 footage as supposed obvious conclusion to fear and foreboding in America (and it seems the west in general) and the terror attacks were just a natural outcome from all of that? The movie even begins talking about NYC in the seventies running out of money and them waiting for the banks to come in and buy their bonds.. this had an inkling of interest for me, based on my understandings of the way the banks in America, especially after the forming of the federal reserve in 1913, behaved. They created, supported by Keynesian economists, the idea of the "business cycle." A complete sham that enormous amounts of westerner's and even the world in general, believe in. The business cycle is nothing more than the regular bailing out of the banks. Look no further than the GFC to confirm this.
The Fed manipulates and lowers interest rates, the speculative markets and housing skyrocket, and then, low and behold, it all crashes! What to do? Punish the bankers that made shoddy investments? Throw any of them in jail? NO! Pay them gobs and gobs of taxpayer money. Sink the nation further into debt and provide more interest revenue streams to the banks, as they simultaneously proceed to do it all over again! Lower rates, the market soars, the bubbles inflate! Look at Deutsch Bank: 65 TRILLION in derivatives and there stock valuation of such a supposedly first class investing institution is less than TWITTER!! The derivatives they sit on top of equal 19 times the GDP of the most powerful market share of the EU: Germany!! Think of the massive jenga stack/bubble that is. Amazing.. here we go again, its not a matter of IF but WHEN this thing is going to blow.
What this FILM really misses is the financial ties to everything. Money runs the world and the FED with its criminal monopoly of the US dollar is on of the kings. This massive crash in 2008 happens, we QE and lower rates and... no hyper inflation! How come? Man, if it was just printing money and lowering rates, all of the banana republics and African dictatorships would be the most powerful and wealthy nations in the world! How do we do it? Well this film alludes to it in the beginning: it had something to do with that massive war criminal, Henry Kissinger.
This is the man who colluded with McNamara and Nixon to bomb Cambodia back to the stone age and created a power vacuum there that led to the genocide and slaughter of 2million people. Nice bit that was huh? Pol Pot running around and having his henchmen photograph and then systematically torture and murder most of the population. Forgot to mention that little feather in Kissinger's cap. But Kissinger also did some other things that are allowing us to export our inflation today to the rest of the world. He created the Petro-dollar cycle. You see, Nixon was at war in Vietnam, things were going well, slaughter was happening, the military industrial complex was making fat green. But there was a limit to it all: the pesky gold standard. You were limited by how much you could budget for war efforts by the amount of gold you had to back your dollars with, a nice check, a discipline for not over-spending. What to do? Well, you blame the international speculators, say you are saving the dollar from the gold hoarders around the world, and well.. cut the dollar loose from the gold standard.
At the same time, what the film and Adam Curtis conveniently did not mention about Kissinger's dealings in the Middle East, he convinced the Saudi's and their oil producing friends of a protection racket. We would back them militarily in the Middle East if they would agree to only sell oil for US dollars. Yep, it was that simple. These two things kicked off the petro-dollar cycle: it goes like this: the fed creates dollars out of thin air, then the US government and the commercial banks borrow those dollars (at interest, of course) and then we, and the rest of the world, buy our oil from the middle east. Then Saudi Arabia and its pals take their profits and put them back into the Federal Reserve (specifically the New York branch). Then... get this brilliance... the Fed takes those dollars and loans them out again.. at interest! Phenomenal! A double loan occurs for money created out of thin air! I've written a book so far, so I will stop there, but research this yourselves folks.. don't believe the crap from this piece of crap from the msm. In conclusion, it is over-simplified garbage that paints a one-sided, dangerous picture.
Do not BELIEVE my words, research instead of believing a neatly pieced but through out and through out fictional story with a biased geopolitical agenda. Where's the talk about Wikileaks, Clinton getting funds from Qatar, which has openly supported ISIS, the Qatar-Turkey Pipeline vs. Syria-Iran-Iraq Pipeline. These things were not mentioned because it is a propaganda piece, nothing more and just in time for the election.THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS IN GEO-POLITICS, remember that.
13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016)
I Tried to Enjoy This Movie
A banal formula for same old American war propaganda films.
I tried to look past the propaganda and see what this movie was really trying to convey, but in the end it left me in a lapsing coma unable to distinguish what was and was not being foretold truthfully. Politics aside, the movie portrayed the Libyan people as savages, when in reality many of them helped save these soldiers. It seems that this movie completely disregards this fact, that and the increasingly tiresome propagandizing of mutilation, gore, and extreme patriotism. Violence that is effectuated throughout the film, start to finish. Of course this merely hides the terrible screenplay and vapid clichés but what more can you ask from Michael Bay? This is a full blown North Korean Propaganda film, except its American.
American Sniper (2014)
Over-hyped and Poorly Written
This has to be one of if not Clint Eastwood's worst films to date. It is tawdry and blatantly inauthentic. The movie sensationalized and falsifies certain aspects of Chis Kyle's book so to embellish the emotional aspect of war and a man supposedly fighting for what he thinks is just.
I found this movie subtly jingoistic and it never once depicted Chris Kyle as a man addicted to killing. Hell, he even boasted about his kills, and thought that Iraqi people were savages. He's been quoted saying, "ill kill anyone who wears a turban."
In his book he claimed to kill looters during Hurricane Katrina. He lied about quite a few things actually. But...just the fact that he pretended to kill civilians after the hurricane down in New Orleans, doesn't speak highly of this man.
Nevertheless, the real Chris Kyle is a sadist who openly says that he enjoys killing. This movie is a whitewash of one of the most brutal chapters in American military history, an attempt to pretend this guy, a symbol of the sick brutality of our occupations of other countries, and pretend that he is some normal guy, struggling against the emotional baggage of being a pro killer when he wasn't.
Moreover, the movies plot was disjointed, the acting excluding Bradley Cooper was sub par, especially from the wife. The photography and frames were inconsistent, and the CGI was absolutely appalling and looked to be a video game at times.
The wartime / back at home flip-flop approach feels sort of modular and clunky and at times confusing. Also, the respites were quite redundant with Chris Kyle's wife and at times inauthentic, especially during a seemingly pivotal scene in the movie where a stage baby is used. This alone shows laziness.
If not for the graphic sensationalized violence one might think this is a sub par network TV movie, the script was that terrible.
Overall, I had high expectations for this movie and it quite literally felt like I was watching a propaganda film. I expected better from Clint.
