Bewitched (2005)

Disappointing

Twice this year have I seen a Will Ferrell movie with high expectations, and twice have I been let down. Again the hype machine has triumphed, most of the funny is already in the preview, and thats about all I have to say. Will is OK, he gets to ad lib every so often (always comedic gold), but Nicole Kidman's performance is almost painful, she should maybe think about not signing on for the first movie she hears about as soon as she finishes one, maybe take a summer off (God knows she has a enough money to buy a moderately sized country).

Hopefully Mr. Ferrell doesn't disappoint in Wedding Crashers

Batman Begins (2005)

Best Batman Movie EVER!!!!!

From start to finish this movie completely saves the Batman movie franchise from an eternity of camp. Finally action and dialogue in a Batman movie mathces that of the comic books and graphic novels that made the Knight famous. While this is by no means an award winning movie its still worth seeing. Christian Bale is by far the best Batman (I still think George Clooney is the best Bruce Wayne), Michael Cain is a great Alfred, Katie Holmes is predictable but not horrible, Cillian Murphy is creepy and almost unrecognizable, and of course the great Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, and Morgan Freeman give great performances. This is definitely a movie to be seen in the theatre

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)

slow, trite, stretched

This is a movie everyone has seen before, young group of people do something with something and it teaches them about life, big deal. To make things even better, this is one of the slowest movies in the history of projection. It's not horribly long but you can tell scenes are being stretched and even out of the gate this movie stumbles all the way to the finish. It may not be the worst movie ever made, but it is definitely a wait till it comes to DVD rental, but of course every woman in the world will see this movie, so the played out genre will continue. That is all I have to say but since I need ten lines I must write this sentence
