NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Bulletproof (2014)
Karma would have been better
Personally, I would rather Gussman have been paralyzed, to live the rest of her days with the knowledge of her perfidy and what it cost herself, along with others.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: The Things We Have to Lose (2020)
When does karma visit
It would be so satisfying to see karma visit former Judge Barth in a really big, bad way. I wasn't holding my breath, but the writers came through with karma for another defense attorney, so there's always hope. That said, for a former judge to defend what she's defending is worthy of beast karma.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: I Deserve Some Loving Too (2020)
Good story - still waiting on karma
I was so glad to see karma hit another defense attorney. That story was great. Would so enjoy this particular defense attorney getting a dose of his own medicine, somehow. I have a feeling they'd have to go after his family in some way, which would be sad, though.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Revenge (2018)
Show writers, please, please, please do some karma episodes
I truly wish we would see some of these snaky defense attorneys (yes, I realize people are entitled to a defense, but please....) would get a dose of double karma, in return for the people they've helped get off for horrific crimes.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: In Loco Parentis (2018)
Defense Attorneys
I know defendants need good representation, but some of the defense attorneys on this show go way overboard in re-victimizing the victims. Makes one wish the writers would come up with some karma...
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: American Dream (2017)
What a mess!
It's so wonderful when agencies cooperate with each other. Wish that had happened in this episode.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Spellbound (2017)
Wishing for karma again.
Some of the defense attorneys on this show make me wish I believed in karma or, at the very least, that the writers would give us some episodes in which these attorneys reap what they've sown.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Heartfelt Passages (2016)
Frustrating
Brad Garrett does very well in this role, as unlikable as he is. The biggest frustration is watching his fellow officers close ranks around him. I am dismayed when I see rotten church leaders, teachers, doctors, and police officers protected from prosecution by the very ones that should be holding them accountable. No one should escape accountability, but those are some of the people we should be able to trust the most. To have that trust betrayed and then have the betrayer sheltered by others in their profession is abominable. No wonder people paint others in those professions with that very broad brush. Until the good ones are willing to stand against the bad ones, no one is worthy of respect and honor.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Star-Struck Victims (2016)
Karma would be so satisfying
As I've noted in comments for other episodes in which he's featured, it would be so satisfying to have karma visit Delaney Williams's character and his family. He usually seems to represent the worst of the worst...they just have money, so he gets paid well.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: A Misunderstanding (2016)
Wish his daughter would have a misunderstanding
The defense attorney often attacks the women in these episodes, it seems. Since it's fiction, I've kind of wished one or more of these situations would hit his own home...see if he considers it okay or a misunderstanding then.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Parole Violations (2015)
Karma can be such fun to watch
I know every person is entitled to a vigorous defense, but I don't have to respect the lawyers that choose to defend scummy clients, particularly when those clients are involved in law enforcement.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Pornstar's Requiem (2014)
Defense attorney and Judge
Delaney Williams does a great job portraying a highly unlikeable defense attorney. Often on this series, he represents the worst of the worst. He doesn't disappoint in this episode, either.
Richard T. Jones, as the judge, also gave me pause. I don't usually wish harm on a character's family, but this time? It might be what it takes to help him see how evil his "judgment" was.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Downloaded Child (2014)
Um, no
Really? The women didn't have an inkling of how it would sound to tell her the men should pay for watching her? As if that wouldn't naturally sound like she was a paid "performer"? That poor damaged girl/woman.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Amaro's One-Eighty (2014)
RJ Burke
RJ Burke, as Lt. Tucker, does a great job in this episode and many others, making himself totally unlikeable. That's what he's supposed to do. Have to give credit where credit is due.
Hate when police are considered the bad guys right off the bat. Amaro was doing his best to back up a fellow officer.
