Amazing movie!
15 October 2015
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a classic children's movie. A Disney film based on the books by A.A. Milne, the animated movie follows Winnie the Pooh, an adorable stuffed bear, and his friends as they go on adventures and learn valuable lessons about patience, acceptance, and friendship. The film shows four different chapters from the book, each with their own plot and lesson. The filmmakers used exceptionally creative tactics to make the narrator and the actual book a part of the movie; when shown, the words on the pages move! The characters also jump across pages to get to different scenes, giving the illusion that they are actually inside a book. The film gives great messages and teaches wonderful lessons, but it also has creative and entertaining elements designed to keep the viewer entertained and engaged.

Winnie the Pooh was a massive part of my childhood, so it was really fun (and nostalgic) to revisit the film. The familiar voices of the cast brought me right back to the characters and stories that I loved as a kid. The home-made style sound effects and the shifting letters mesmerized me all over again. The film definitely still remains one of my favorites.

Turbo Movie Review
15 October 2015
At the beginning of the movie "Turbo" Theo the snail is unhappy at the fact he is slow. He and his brother Chet work at the plant ( a tomato garden ). Theo dreams of becoming a racing snail influenced by his idol Guy Gagné the 5 time Indianapolis 500 champ. Turbos obsession with racing has shaped Theo to be recognized as an outsider in the small snail community at the plant. Every work day Theo finds a way to be a constant embarrassment to himself and his older brother Chet. For example, one day at work Theo accidentally allows Big Mama ( a giant tomato ) to roll out of the plant onto the lawn on garden day. A man is mowing the lawn and Theo acts as a hero and attempts to take back the tomato. Theo is nearly killed by the mower but is saved by Chet and the other snails. Theo is embarrassed and decides to leave the plant and his old life behind. He travels to a highway overpass and wishes upon a shooting star but in actuality the "shooting star" was just a plane. The exhaust from the cars forces Theo to fly across the highway to a water levies and land on the hood of a racing car during a race competition. He shoots into the engine where his DNA strands transform and create Theo into a super snail. He passes out and is awakened by crows looking for an afternoon snack. Theo then finds out he has possession of the powers and zooms back to the plant to explain to his brother Chet. Theo then embarks on an incredible journey to achieve the impossible: racing against he best in the Indianapolis 500. This is a story about the ultimate underdog who sets out to show that anything is possible

Everest: On the Edge
15 October 2015
Another movie that I enjoyed is "Everest". I think it is a really good movie because it shows how hard it is to climb Mount Everest. It also shows how long a persons will to survive can take them, even though they were expected to die. The movie's lesson is that if you have the will power, you can do anything you want, such as climb Mount Everest. This movie was based off a true story about a group of climbers who wanted to get to the top, but sadly a storm hit before they made down the mountain. I give Everest a ten out of ten. Yayayayayayayyayaya yayayayayyayaya yayayayayayyaayayayayayayayayayayayayayay ayayayayayayayayayayayay ayayayayayayayayayayayaya yayayayayayayayayayayayaya

Lilo and Stitch
15 October 2015
My analysis for the movie Lilo and stitch was a very funny and heart warming movie. It taught me that when you aren't looking for something it will always be there. I think that when stitch was all alone and he was looking for someone he is didn't realize that what he was looking for was a family. In the movie there're was a phrase family never gets left behind. I think that it was an extremely sweet when Stitch came back to save Lilo. When I watched this movie I had a lot of laughs, it may or may not seem like a funny movie, but if you watch the movie then you could really learn that family is everything and that they will always be there for you mono matter what. You may learn a different lesson, but the main point that the director is trying to get across, is that family everything. This movie was very funny and I think that the next Lilo and Stitch movie will be even funnier. To sum up what I've said is that the moral part of the movie is that family is every thing and no one gets left behind.

Space Jam (1996)

MJ with the Slam
15 October 2015
Space Jam is a very good movie for children who love sports. This movie stars Michael Jordan who is an NBA star at the beginning and then converts into a Major League Baseball player in the Chicago White Sox farm system. But soon after becoming a baseball player like his dad, many of the NBA's greatest get their talents stolen by aliens from another planet. When Michael finds out he soon is alerted and goes after these aliens to get the stars their talents back. While he's golfing in an instant he finds himself slipping through a small golf hole. When he comes out the other end of the hole he finds himself in looney toon land. He sees Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Lola Bunny and all the looney toon characters you can think of. This movie teaches kids to keep thriving for what they want and never give up. It's telling them no matter how tall people are, how tough people are, never give up because of some disadvantages. When Michael is challenged by the aliens who stole the stars talents Michael takes the challenge to face them. But they made a deal. If Michael won the stars would get their talents back, and if the aliens won Michael had to stay in looney toon land forever. The aliens had accepted the challenge. Halfway through the game Bill Murray shows up and helps Michael. When Michael gets the help from Bill, they come from behind and win. The stars get their talents back and Michael gets to go home. The moral of this story is to always keep thriving and never give up.

Corpse bride, to dark for kids?
15 October 2015
Movie review The Corpse Bride is quite a good movie for a kid who doesn't get scarred easily. I remember as a kid getting very scared at the graphics and the characters in this movie. Most of it is very good, but there are quite a few scary parts. Some of the characters and designed in a spooky, scary way, trying to capture the "just rose from the dead" look. There is also a part where the charters are getting drunk and that might be a little explicit for a child at a young age. Emotionally bittersweet as I would call it. There's happy parts, sad parts, and funny parts. You really learn to love some of the characters. And then you really learn to hate some of the chats. It's very visually entertaining, especially for the six to twelve year olds. There are not a lot of colors, it's very bland and kept to a dark color scheme. The characters, and the set is very imaginative, and has a very whimsically feeling to every part of this movie. Burton pays a lot of attention to detail which is why this film so eye capturing. This movie would best suit kids six and up.

Fox and the hound
15 October 2015
The Fox and the Hound is an animated Disney movie made in 1981. The movie is about how a fox and a hound becomes friends. But as they grow older is becomes harder because the fox is a wild animal. And the hound is a hunting dog that catches wild animals. But against the odds they find a way to become friends again after such a long time apart.

I give this movie a ten out of ten. I give the move, The Fox and the Hound, this rating because it was personally one of my favorite movies of all time when I was a kid. Another reason I give this movie that high of a rating because it is enjoyable for all ages. I recommend that you watch it because it will make the perfect movie to watch.

Pocahontas analysis and review
15 October 2015
The movie is very spiritual and free. It talked mainly about the differences between the colonist and the Indians. In both eyes of the group they saw each other as savages. The Indians love their land and their people and see that the British want to take it for them so the British can search for gold. When the British first arrive they stat digging for gold and search for the Indians. As the British start to settle in to the new land and alarm goes off. The Indians are aware of the visitors so the Indians go to search them. One Indian is spotted and shot thus meaning to the Indians that the British are I good and deserve to be punished.

Pocahontas, the main character, has dealt with a major loss in her life when her mother past away. From then on she has tried to find her path when a strange dream has kept coming up in her sleep. She is asked for her hand in marriage by a very serious non- spiritual soldier and says that this path hat she would take with him is not what she wants. So when she mat John Smith they were aware and alert of each other when they first met but soon found a strong liking in each other and this lead toward between the two groups.

Legends of Oz is a must see family movie
15 October 2015
Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return is a kind of sequel to the original story, The Wizard of Oz. the story starts when Dorothy wakes up in her home in Kansas after the tornado hit. After only being there for a short time, Dorothy is swept back to Oz because of a distress call from her old friend Scarecrow. The message informed her that Oz is being taken over by the evil Jester, the younger brother of the Wicked Witch of the West. The Jester has stolen his sister's broomstick and is using it as a magic wand. He is devoted on destroying Oz and ruling over everyone by himself. It is up to Dorothy and her new friends, and of course Todo to stop the Jester and restore the life in Oz.

First off, I would like to note that this movie is a musical. So if you are in to musicals this is a must see movie but if you are not, this movie may not interest you. I like the fact that all the characters pick up where they left off in the first movie. The cowardly lion is no longer a coward and the tin-man now has a heart and real emotions.

Earth to Echo Review
15 October 2015
The movie Earth to Echo was a very creative movie and wasn't just like every other cliché movie with aliens in it. There were a few parts that did remind me of another movie but besides the one or two parts that contained something that reminded me of another movie, it was original. The editing in the movie was very commendable and the parts that showed Echo's sight was also creative and commendable. In the movie there are three boys who are best friends who are forced to move out because of a road being made right above their homes. A few days before they have to home out, one of their phones starts to show a map. They all decide to go to where the map is and they end up finding an alien who needs help to get back home.

My opinion on this movie is that it is very creative and I liked how it wasn't just like every other alien movie. It had a interesting plot and the special effects creative. The ending was slightly easy to guess but the story itself was very creative and the movie was very interesting.

The Little Mermaid
14 October 2015
The Little Mermaid is a movie where a 16-year-old mermaid princess struggles to become a human so she can have a love relationship with a land prince, Eric. In order to accomplish this, she must battle a sea witch, give up her voice, and go against her father's wishes to remain a mermaid and have nothing to do with humans. The mermaid princess, who goes by the name of Ariel, has three days to kiss Prince Eric or else she loses everything, including her soul and voice, to a sea witch named Ursula. Find out if Ariel survives and gets to live her dream.

This movie was very fun and would be great for a family movie since it is rated G and made by Disney. Little girls that love mermaids would also love this movie. This movie was great, expect things got a little too dangerous at the end and promotes war and violence. Besides that, many good morals or messages were spread throughout the movie. Disney did not disappoint with this movie and created another classic Disney princess movie. I highly recommend this movie if you have not seen it already and tell your friends about it also.

Mulan
14 October 2015
Mulan is a heart warming story of a young women finding herself, as she goes on a selfless journey to protect her father from getting killed, however doing this she puts her own life in danger. Through the course of the movie Mulan is fighting a formidable foe and against stereotype, if anyone say through her disguise she could be killed on the spot, as women weren't aloud to do this in ancient china. The humor in this Disney movie appeals to all ages, throughout the movie you find yourself laughing, part of this is due to Mushu, voiced by Eddie Murphy.

Additionally, this movie begins with Mulan going to a matchmaker to become married, however when the matchmaker declares that Mulan has brought dishonor on her family tensions run high. Meanwhile, Shan Yu, is going to attack China, the emperor orders that all men fight in the war, unfortunately Mulan is an only child, her dad has already fought in a previous war and is injured. That night Mulan runs away, her family is worried as they know if anyone finds out she is a women she will be killed. In the end Mulan saves China and falls in love. Mulan is a marvelous movie that everyone should experience. Children of all ages can learn from Mulan's selflessness and bravery. The movie can teach all how being different is acceptable and everyone has their own purpose.

No spoiler review
14 October 2015
P.S I you have not seen Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 1, don't read this review. You have been warned.

Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 2. The sequel to the movie that is basically a rip off Jurassic Park II, and not decent one at that. Although I can give the movie credit, the acting was decent, the animation is good, and the screenplay is also decent, but my main complaint is the story. It was ripped straight out of Jurassic Park II.

The comparisons are obvious, the story is similar, though altered slightly to fit the pervious film's canon. Although the cast has change a bit, Mr T. A.K.A Earl from the first movie has been replaced. That's really it.

Now let's get to the plot, taking place right after the first movie takes place. The Island has been left in ruin after the first movie with food absolutely everywhere. The gang from the first are celebrating for beating the device(I'm not going even try to write it.) Until a new character, Chester V, A.K.A Will Forte, tells them he and his team is going to clean up all the food, while the main characters are relocated to San FranJose,(Funny Pun). We'll his crew, "Cleans up".

Over all an okay movie, a not original plot, but those food/animal puns were kind of funny.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman
14 October 2015
This movie is about a dog, Mr. Peabody, and his boy, Sherman. Mr. Peabody adopted Sherman. Mr. Peabody is very smart and invited a time machine. Him and Sherman use this time machine, or "The Way Back," to visit the past and all the famous people of the past. Mr. Peabody and Sherman are friends with famous figures such as George Washington, Muhammad, Jackie Robinson, and many more. On Sherman's first day of school, his teacher asks a few questions about George Washington, Sherman answers all of them, causing a girl named Penny to become jealous. Penny says Sherman is a dog, so he bites her out of anger. Mr. Peabody invited there family over for dinner, Sherman showed her The Way Back. They left and went on an adventure and he left Penny. You'll have to watch it to know the rest.

My opinion on this movie is that it is a well made, heart warming cartoon for all ages. The movie shows moral values such as loyalty, love, and friendship. Mr. Peabody is a loving dog and is loyal to Sherman and Penny. Sherman is young and clumsy, but loves Mr. Peabody. Penny is mischievous and curious of things she probably should leave alone.

Mr. Peabody is a dog and is the most accomplished canine in the world. He adopted a boy named Sherman and when Sherman is old enough, Mr. Peabody brings Sherman back in time using a time machine called the Wabac to go on outrageous adventures. However, when Sherman takes the Wabac without permission to impress his friend Penny, he accidentally rips a hole in the universe and causes chaos with world history. It's up to Mr. Peabody to mount a rescue and prevent the past, present, and future from being permanently changed.

The movie Mr. Peabody and Sherman was boring for the age 13+, but I would recommend for ages younger than that. It teaches about history so it is a good educational movie. The movie brings many different genres into it. Also the voice acting was very good. To make it more of good movie towards 13 year olds they need to add more action scenes. A

Tarzan (2013)

Tarzan was a pretty good movie
14 October 2015
Tarzan was a great movie. It shows many values like family and courage. Tarzan is weird. He grew up with gorillas. I think it's very unrealistic and at times I got really bored. However, those kinds of movies are meant for 8 year olds. I think the movie was trying to prove the theory to just be yourself. And if you do that, you'll go far. Is it a twisted way of getting a message across? Yes. Tarzan looked really weird to the gorillas. Though after a while, they accepted him. That is the real story. I'm not sure what role Jane had to play in the movie because she literally did nothing good in the movie. I guess it showed love to little kids.😒😩. I didn't really see why they had to do that. But they did. Even though some parts of the movie were pointless, I did like the true message of it. And I think Kercheck played a big role in the movie. He represented that one guy who is a bully and likes to get mad at people who are different. But at the end of the book, he reveals that he really liked him. That showed that he was able to change and show that he wasn't all bad.

Great movie!
14 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The movie The Parent Trap starts off with your main characters Susan Evers and Sharon McKendrick. You first meet the two girls at a summer camp. From the most they set eyes on each other they hate each other, it might have been because they look so much alike. After pulling several pranks on each other the girls end up stuck in a cabin together! One stormy day they start to talk to each other and find out that Sharon only has a Mom and Susan only has a Dad! They put it together that they are twin sisters! They decide to switch lives so they can meet there other parent. They then try and pull there parents back together.

The Parent Trap was a very family friendly movie. There were several times to laugh during the movie, but it definitely had a deeper meaning. This is definitely a movie to watch with the whole family. It was a very interesting story, that kept you not wanting to see it end. It is nice to know that they are bringing their family back together. It really shows the importance of having families together helping each other. I would definitely give this movie a good rating.

Great Moarls and Great Movie
14 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The movie, "The AristoCats", is a fantastic movie for your young one to watch when you just need sometime off. Not only will the love the characters, the setting, and the many animals, it also builds up good ideas in their minds. It gives the idea of staying mentally strong, compatibility with others, and resilience against difficult situations.

The cats are drugged, and then thrown out into the river left to drown. With all this hardship, Duchess, the mother cat, keeps her ducks in a row and makes sure that her family is safe. She keeps herself strong and gives to others who are important to her. Her family and her own welfare is the most important thing to her. This could have effect on your children, building the mentality that it is important to stay strong when the going gets rough.

Our little family they will need to trust others to keep themselves safe. Of course, we don't want your kid running off with a stranger when they are lost, but it may be a way to talk to your kids about talking to strangers.

This little family of cats, each and everyone, must be resilient against their hardship. They all have to show compassion and strength towards each other to keep everyone together. By keeping themselves strong, they keep each other strong.

The Nut Job Review by Matt
14 October 2015
The Nut Job us an animated movie, it has quite a bit of action that young children would enjoy. This movie is rated PG, (parental guidance) The Nut Job is a very positive movie that may impact a child's look on how animals survive. This movie may also teach children that even if a person (animal in this case) is mean to you in the beginning, if you keep trying they may warm up to you and you will have a new friend. In the movie The Nut Job a squirrel, and a friend who is a rat try to get into the towns biggest nut shop, so them along with all of their friends in the park have enough nuts to last them the winter. When they soon realize that there is a watch dog, the watch dog barks at the squirrel and rat whenever they enter the shop. The animals make their way to the basement of the shop, where the movie takes an unexpected turn. I hope you will find out if they made it through the Winter!

How a Superbad man became a Superdad
14 October 2015
The movie despicable me starts out with a criminal Gru. Gru is very bad minded and wants to shrink the moon and have it for his own. Gru has many minions that work for him also so that can help the process. Gru is trying to get money from the bank for his rocket. He sees a villain named vector and Gru is annoyed by vector. Gru is angered because he could not get any money from the bank and is now competing with the villain named vector. Gru needs help so he decided to get little girls from an orphanage so they can sabotage vector. When going on further in the story Gru starts to have compassion and love like a father for the girls. Gru sadly gets rid of the girls and tries to go for the moon by himself. The ending will be interesting so you must watch it. I would give this movie a nine. The movie had great plot, showed the real meaning of true compassion and love for one another. It would be a great movie for everybody to watch. It is really funny and good for children all around. It really brings out the greatness in people.

Is This the Movie to Watch?
14 October 2015
This is a quick short summary and opinion of The Emperor's Groove. The Emperor's Groove is a story based on a pharaoh who takes granted of all of the stuff he has and he thinks he is the best in the world. Then things start to get fired up, The pharaoh fired his assistant and she needs revenge. The pharaoh's used to be assistant tries to poison the pharaoh but instead she actually turns him into a lama. Then a poor village leader helps the pharaoh, but he is mad at the pharaoh because he is going to destroy the village the guy lives in.

In opinion The Emperor's Groove is a well rounded movie and is great to watch as a family. If this movie had a rating of 1 to 5 I would give it a 5, because it is meant for families with children who enjoy watching movies with their parents. There are a lot of funny parts to this movie, there is nothing inappropriate in this movie and is perfect for children. This movie's story is really creative and fun to watch even for me! This movie is nice to watch with family or just yourself. Hope this review helps you chose the next perfect movie for your family.

Pokemon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened (2013)
14 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I am reviewing the movie Pokemon: Genesect and The Legends Awakens. In the movie the five Genesect including the red Genesect are brought back to life from fossils. Genesect are legendary Pokemon who have been dead for millions of years. In the movie Mewtwo a legendary Pokemon who was created to be a clone of a Pokemon named Mew is trying to go beyond the limit of Earth with its new power of Mega- Evolving. The Genesect look for their home, but they can't find it for the reason that they lived millions of years ago. They now try to take Pokemon hills as their new home. In the movie Ash Ketchum and Pikachu become friends with the youngest Genesect.

The movie shows the moral of sharing and to live live with one another. I did not like the fact that Mewtwo did not recognize or show any memory of Ash Ketchup when he attempted in taking over the world in the first movie. Another change to Mewtwo was they changed Mewtwo's voice to a girl, which I did not enjoy as much as much as the old version. If I would to make the movie I would make it where Mewtwo comes to remember Ash and Pikachu and not remove that out.

Summary And Review of Finding Nemo (2003)
13 October 2015
Finding Nemo is a fantastic movie about a little fish named Nemo. Nemo was trying to rebel against his dad when he got taken from his father! Now Nemo's dad (Marlin) went everywhere to try and find him. Along the way Marlin picks up a newfound friend named Dory, and she follows Marlin on his misadventures to try and find Nemo.

Overall, Finding Nemo was a fantastic movie, with a detailed plot. It teaches kids about companionship and teamwork, shown by Marlin and Dory restlessly trying to get Nemo back from the people that took him. The way the story unfolded would keep anyone enthralled in the story of Nemo and how Marlin tried to find him. Finding Nemo will become a classic for all kids around the world and hopefully will become a favorite everywhere. In the movie, the voice acting is one of the best from Disney to date. The acting and animation meshed extremely well and showed true emotion from the characters. Overall, this movie was a solid 9/10

How To Train Your Dragon 2
13 October 2015
In How To Train Your Dragon Two, it is a sequel to How To Train Your Dragon. It is directed by Dean DeBlois. The summary of the movie is fabulous. In the beginning, Hiccup and Toothless are experimenting their new attachments to their bodies by flying. Hiccup was testing out his new leg and his new suit that allows him to fly. Toothless was testing out his new tail. While they are flying they discover new land and add it to their map. On one of their journeys, they discover a secret cave. In this cave they find tons of wild dragons, along with a anonymous long-lost rider. After they sort things out, Hiccup finds himself in the middle of a battle to protect Berk against a warrior and his dragon army.

How To Train Your Dragon Two is a great sequel to How To Train Your Dragon. This sequel ties up the questions that weren't fully answered in the first movie. This sequel tests Hiccup and Toothless' relationship, as rider and dragon, as well as friends. This sequel also ties up the hole in Hiccup's family, a surprise you'll have to see in the theaters. Finally, this sequel ties up Hiccup and Astrid's love story. Overall, this movie is a great sequel. If you liked the first movie, then you should definitely go and check out this sequel. On a scale from 1 to 10, this movie should get a 9. Thank you for reading this review on How To Train Your Dragon Two.

Jurassic Park (1993)

Dinosaurs and Directors
13 October 2015
Jurassic Park (1993) Steven Spielberg

Movie "Jurassic Park" is considered by many a classic. This move made us jump out of our seats because of the dinosaurs. It also made us awe at the stunning visual effects that were way ahead of the time. The plot is that John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) invites a group of people to his new island on Isla Neblar to see his new attraction with living dinosaurs. The problem is that these dinosaurs are unpredictable and eventually break out. Steven Spielberg has done a great job at directing this movie and has given us a good look into the past, but is this movie actually good. Take away the nostalgic affect and critically compare this movie and its effect to others at the time. This movie blew our mind. Now 1993 was a great year for movie culture. There were many movies that came out such as "The Sandlot", "The Nightmare before Christmas" and even "Mrs. Doubtfire". Obviously there was some competition in that year but "Jurassic Park" blew these movies out of the water delving stunning cgi/animatronics. Although there was a lot of things done right with this movie it is not perfect. First of all this movie is not scientifically accurate. The Velociraptors as shown in the movie have a distinct lack in feathers and are estimated to be only about half a meter tall (1.7 inches). This movie may be inaccurate in some parts but it still blew our minds. I was only about a few years old when I first saw the movie and the thought of dinosaurs chasing people around just blew my mind. This movie may not be what the past was exactly but it delivers a good representation of what would happen if we tried to tame these beasts.
