Absolutely enjoyed the interviews and the stories. I am someone who doesn't like the Melodramatic bollywood, songs and dance movies but would definitely appreciate it's existence and important to the core of our Indian identity. This show has documented Mr. Yash Chopra's struggles and film making skills. There are interviews of his films actors and newer generation artists. And man! They managed to interview Aditya Chopra, yes you read it right. I never imagined I would see him in front of the camera. I believe this his way to give respect to his father. I would highly recommend this documentary to all the Bollywood movie lovers.

Good concept and fun to watch

Thank you Amazon prime for making something like this. I was never a low budget film audience and judged everything created in that era. This docu-series throws light on many ignored aspects like commerce, cheesy entertainment, employment, & passion evolved in making these kind of films. It was fun to watch behind the scenes caos and struggle to make a low budget film. It was also great to see Arjun Kapoor saying "yes" to be part of such a concept and supporting all films industry. I think it definitely elevated the making and the production value of the project. This series successfully managed to maintain the seriousness of the topic and entertaining.

It is heavy and intense. The tragedy is heart breaking and it is very well depicted in the series. The makers have used liberties to add some fictional characters to make it in an episodic form but totally justified. You will never feel anytime that anything has been taken lightly and genuine respect is given to the victims. I am glad that Netflix is giving importance to such events and producing a show like this. All the actors have done great job and the way the story unfolds is great. I wish more and more people watch this show as it is an important one. Trail by Fire is a great example how to make a real event show.

Heart touching

I think people should support a film like this. Kumud Mishra had lived the character. There are many heart touching scenes and dialogues which will make you think about them after the movie. I always wanted someone to represent a blind character like this. No style, no vanity just true representation with real challenges. Kumud Mishra has not just acted he has lived and paid his tribute to all who cannot see in this world. I started watching this movie with a low expectations but after the first half my heart was mostly in my mouth. In a world with commercially successful propaganda films I think this film atleast deserves our attention. Please watch it!

Good but overrated

This is a masala movie with some artistic touch. I feel it is hyped to the moon and you may feel underwhelmed after watching it. Totally predictable but the last 15 minutes are worth waiting. Atleast 20 minutes of the film could have been edited out. But still I think the movie has heart and shows us that a cinematicaly beautiful film is possible to make in budget. I saw some reviews and film essays after watching the movie and just can't understand how people can say it is beyond understanding. I may sound little harsh but it is because I felt cheated by all those YouTube movies reviewers who hyped this film like crazy.

My condolences to the people who were impacted by this terrible event. But I won't suger coat for this show, it is frustrating and stupid. If you watch quality stuff then this show will make you laugh at the goofy writing and illogical actions of characters. Honestly, I was expecting it to be atleast decent but it is just terrible.

Good box office returns does not make movie good. Kartik aryan has over acted as usual and the story does not follow logic. It would be wrong to compare it with the original as it defines all the fundamental rules set by it.

Good acting but bad writing

The very first episode may frustrate you and it is not because it is too disturbing or something. The characters mostly don't understand the gravity of the situation leaving Papaji (He is Mr. White of this show). For people coming out of Alt balaji and Bollywood cliches may find this as a masterpiece but there are so many loopholes and coincidences. Nothing wrong with the actors, they have nailed their parts but writing and sequence are just sloppy. Specially the younger brother, he is a nut job.

A clear example of a type of project you would get from a good actor. Manoj Bajpai produced it and it definitely contains elements of satirical view, thriller, drama,& great acting. Direction is subtle and script is strong. I hope Bollywood will not let this genre die.
