Full of unrealistic drama thought I will watch a good sci-fi series with memorable scenes instead it's a lousy ill thought of soap opera so boring and dull and slow I feel tortured watching it thinking to stop altogether 😖

Went into movie theater expecting an epic finale and a much better movie than infinity war; alas it was so anti climatic so boring so full of plot holes an elephant would've passed through them - or a hulk for that matter - very disappointing movie overall!!!

Seriously how could this movie which I found to be utterly boring , lifeless and dull manage to get such a high rating of 7.1??? I gave it 2 stars and that's being really generous of me , the cgi was good but that's about it!! The acting especially of the lead character played by Brie was so bad and boring.. this movie is just chow fodder meant by Marvel seeking to make more money from MCU by their fans doesn't add anything special or new in any way... ughhhhhh...

Had to write this review seeing how so many others give it a 10, seriously? There's almost nothing to like or admire about this compared to the great 2 previous hell-boy movies directed by the great Guillermo del Toro. So disappointing and so forgettable, it's a tragedy and sin to moviegoers they opted to make this ramshackle ruinous flick instead of ending the initial hellboy trilogy by making hellboy 3. The horde (audience) wins over the others who appreciate really good things I guess!!!

Previous Tarantino movies were from a guy in love with other movies. This one is from a guy in love with his own writing. It isn't Inglorious, its disgusting.
I absolutely hated Inglorious Basterds. The entire point of a film is to entertain - if u call bashing people's heads and removing their scalps entertaining!!!! - and if there is one unforgivable sin a movie can commit, it is extreme boredom or disgust.
The movie is just a collection of endless and excruciatingly boring and disgusting scenes of people talking at tables in various languages. There is even one scene where 3 people talk for nearly 45 minutes at the same table, before, thankfully they are all shot. I wished they would have been killed off after 5 minutes. Even Woody Allen knows when to shut the F**K up.
This table talk style is a Tarantino hallmark, but in other films, I actually cared about what they were saying and the people who were talking. Here, I couldn't care less. All of Quentin's films display an enormous confidence, particularly Jackie Brown. But here there is a pervasive feeling in every scene, Tarantino had no idea where he was going with the film.
Is it violent? Sure there's torture and scalping galore, but you'd have to remind me. Thankfully, the film was so thin, I didn't even remember I had seen it earlier in the day when until I saw a review headline on MSNBC.
He's out of gimmicks and apparently dying to write a novel. But do us a favor QT and spare us the movie.
I walked out of this movie halfway through and I would never recommend anyone seeing it no matter what a die-hard quarantino fan he or she is.
I give it 0 / 10.

Equilibrium

one of the best movies i ever saw...

this movie rocks :) its simply amazing and whats so wonderful about it is its simplicity and elegance...WELL DONE KURT WIMMER AND Christian BALE!!! Kurt wimmer as a director / writer is just great, so is Christian Bale ..amazing acting.. and i also liked the anti-hero taye diggs with his sly smiles and looks not a bad job at all :) the movie could have used a little bit more of realism though, but still as it is its really good and no matter how much i watch it i keep wanting to watch it again...
bale's latest movie, batman returns, is not 1/2 as good as equilibrium... my most favorite scenes were not just the fight scenes or gun battles also how they are brainwashing the librarians , how the fight between the underground and the officials is going, but i just wish it wasn't soooooooo over-simplistic at times the storyline...and more depth was given to characterization or environment / setting...
still overall its a wonderful movie - one of my favorites - go get it on DVD and watch it NOW u wont regret it :) Salam Aalaykum :)
