Knives Out (2019)
Not a "whodunit" movie
A movie, where all characters are two-dimensional. One of them is absolutely positive: very smart, hard working, etc. Everyone else is evil, dumb and incompetent, because they are rich.
During the movie, this positive character kills her patient due to her negligence, multiple times lies to the police and tampers with evidence. But she is still positive character, because she is immigrant and has a mom.
Meanwhile, everyone else are competing to reveal themselves as bigots, racists or even nazis:)
You won't like it if You are into mystery movies, but You may enjoy it if You like folklore tales, where random peasant enters the city and ends up with half of a kingdom and princess.
Undone (2019)
So slow, and about nothing
First episode blows Your mind, mainly because You see animated Bob Odenkirk and Your expectations becomes very high.
And then You watch second episode, third, fourth... And at some point You ask Yourself: "Why am I watching this? There's nothing in there"
And then You stop.
Years and Years (2019)
Very strong start, but pathetic "happy ending"
Never I was so disappointed in ending, since "Independence day". Remember that film from 1996? Amazing and shocking movie in the beginning and silly happy ending, when all good guys together defeat bad guys, while uplifting music is on. That's exactly what they did here: during 20 years Britain evolves to evil country with concentration camps, and then two lesbians in a delivery truck, lady in a wheelchair and one arab teenager with bazooka eds it in 15 minutes. And then all of them have a party, like in any final episode of soap opera.
I bet most of You are suspicious when You see all those generic 10/10 reviews, praising this show. Well, You should be, obviously.
The Twilight Zone: Replay (2019)
1'st Twilight episode without a "plot twist"
-I think this camcoder rewinds time back!
-Say no more, I believe You. Now lets go to this tunnel. This tunnel is the only way for black people to get to school, without being shot by white policeman.
That was for real:)
