Ok to pass the time

The title is very appropriate for this netflix tease of a thriller. It's mindless drivel and is unfortunate because the story itself holds promise but the hit and miss acting and campy writing leaves much to be desired. This won't be mistaken for a serious drama or thriller series.

Bad makeup job = unwatchable

I couldn't get more than halfway through this. The completely horrible facial makeup job on Nicole Kidman here made this too ridiculous

Unbelievable Un-"Thriller"
9 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Whoever was responsible for directing, producing and assembling this should be embarrassed.

For the first half of the movie I found myself staring at various contorted faces Halle Berry makes as she pursues the kidnappers. I understand its shot this way because it wouldn't normally be so dramatic and suspenseful but huge over acting/directing.

And then as each successive car crash unfolds, Berry gets new facial injuries and the makeup is atrocious. She looks like an undead zombie at one point running down the road. Its as though the filmmakers knew no other way to show us the danger of the chase.

Why would these kidnappers not just give up and go find another kid. The risks they took themselves of getting caught or hurt were unbelievable.
