How this movie ended up to have such a big rating? I can understand nostalgia and all these stuff but this is an awful film that has nothing to offer. Waste your time at your own risk.

I watched it after the Denis Vlleneuve adaptation and the comparison was unavoidable. I know its 1984 but every scene looks that it's not blendidng with the previous or the next. Harkonnens are just cartoons and everything looks so fake. I ve seen worst movies than that but when you have a story like this you can do amazing things like Denis did. It's a big big NO from me.

Best movie I 've seen the last decade

I m not a big fan of sci-fi but i decided o give it a try. From the first scene till the last it kept me in. Denis Villeneuve made a fantastic work and this movie helped me to explore and see every movie he ever made. After watching them all he's one of my favourite directors. I couldn't imagine even a small thing made different. It's not a movie it's an EXPERIENCE.
