The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013)
Serie is way better
I didn't read the books, but one thing is sure, there was too little time to put everything in one movie, so the serie was better in that case. I found there were a lot of holes in the storie.
Bridgerton (2020)
Hope there is more to come
I read a lot of bad reviews about this serie, and I don't really understand that. I really liked it.
I did not read the books, so I'm not aware of the similarities or the lack of them.
But to be honest, I don't care.
The diversity is really refreshing, the costumes and settings are amazing and it's very well acted (I've seen soooo much worse).
So, people who give points as 1 or 3 are haters in my eyes that have very few respect.
NEVER has a movie been a perfect copy of the book, there are more than enough examples (best examples for me are LOTR, Harry Potter, ...)
Nevertheless the movies are jewels on their own way.
You can read and watch and try to find the 'mistakes', or you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy with an open mind...
The choice is totally yours...
The Christmas Train (2017)
I would take this train every year
Liked the plot very much!
For me it was refreshing and just the way a Christmas movie should be.
A Royal Christmas Ball (2017)
Oh no no no no
I'm giving a number out of respect for the time they've put in it, but it was soooo bad... and that book between the scenes... soooo annoying... did the king also didn't look healthy to you?
A Gift Wrapped Christmas (2015)
Now that's what I'm talking about
This is really a very nice Christmas movie as it's supposed to be.
Loved it!
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016)
It could've been so good...
But at the end I had like so much questions, and also a lot of scenes where my mind blocked because there were quite a few irregularities, which is sad for a movie that seemed so good in the trailer.
The Passage (2019)
Why did it stopped after 10 episodes?
I loved it, but gave only an 8 because I can't understand that a serie with such potential only has 10 episodes... I didn't read the books, but maybe I will.
Locke & Key (2020)
I want more, but better storylines
I feel this has so much potential, that beautiful house, those magic keys...
but I want to know the story behind it, what about the Locke ancestor, did he know more?
I was drawn to it to bingewatch, but some of the scenes are really boring and "too easy" and I felt annoyed about some of the kids' decisions...
I'm kinda hoping for a season 2, but hopefully written by better storywriters.
Glee (2009)
Tons of laughs and tears
Eventhough I might be "too old" to watch teenager-series but I soooo loved it. Maybe because I felt like a teenager again LOL but also because I also so love music and dance (and romance)...
Abominable (2019)
So loved it!
The characters, the story, the music, the colours, the landscapes, the gun, the sadness, the love... I just so loved it!
The Little Mermaid (2018)
I didn't see that coming...
Didn't read any reviews before, and had some hopes about it, because I was in need of some magic.... all I saw was bad acting, slow plots... felt sorry for the actors, because it could have been nice, but... no...
Saving Hope (2012)
Great serie
Well... I must say... that last episode... I didn't see that coming... how much bad luck can a couple have... I really cried my eyes out, like I knew them... really crazy... for me, best medical serie ever!
