Young Sheldon (2017)
Surprisingly great
Spin offs are rarely this good. The fact I like about it is that they didn't try to fit in narative that TBBT set. They decided to make characters more likeable so make George Sr. A warm father who genuinle cares about his children. Mery is a hypocrite who is more of a social christian than a true believer. MeeMaw is hilarious. But the kids are just incredible good, my personal favourite is Missy. She is so natural that she steals the show although she's not the main character. The chemistry between actors is great! And the thing I like the most is that they really avoid to be stereotypical and another cliche about smart and dumb sibiling. And there are no the most annoying characters from TBBT Penny and Amy.
Damage (1992)
Good idea, bad execution
It's hard to imagine that a passable idea about a powerful man falling in love with his son's girlfriend could be so badly and implausibly realised, but somehow it is. It should take some time to build the relationship between the two, to see the chemistry, and to understand why he'd risk everything for this forbbiden fruit. Irons was a good cast, but I really have my doubts about Binoche. Their chemistry is so weak and unbelievable, I just can't believe these two people are so passionate about each other. She seems so unrealistic and pale, especially compared to Miranda Richardson. Even with this cast, the idea could be plausible if given more time to develop at the beginning. Two of them suddenly pounce on each other and their sex scenes are so unsympathetic that it's almost comical.

Genuine and authentic story
After a very long time, I've finally found a horror that is genuine and authentic, that has good writing, plausible dialogs, and characters that have common sense and don't make you angry because of their stupidity. It's not an easy thing to come up with an authentic story in a genre like horror and this one is all of that. It has some of that atmosphere of The Lost, perhaps because of Harold Perinneau. The monsters and the terror atmosphere is not shallow. The only thing that could be a possible problem with stories like this (not yet) is if they make it too complicated, have too many storylines, and have too many unanswered questions. So far, I recommend it. I didn't like the fact that they brought in Kristi's fiance on that bus, that is just too convenient and too obvious.
