This is awesome

I can't believe this movie exists. It's high production, actors are good. Many may say the story is stupid and too straight forwards...but this is a movie, that could've been made in the 80's. People who grew up with movies which don't take themself too serious like "Commando" for example really miss such movies. And i'am not talking about cheaply made C-movies. In the 80's there was an audience for this kind of movies and that's why they were highly quality produced. It's about the fun. And i had fun watching this movie. It's just this kind of flick you tell your friends about "Hey have you seen this crazy movie where Mel Gibson as Santa Clause saves christmas with guns?" And of course they answer with no. And then you tell them: "Well, buckle up, kiddo. You're in for a good time, get the whiskey!".

Nothing more to add. We need more films like that,

Wtf

I just watched this movie and had no idea what it is about. Like no idea till the end. There is no plot. No climax. Nothing is happening. Maybe i'am not sophisticated or artsy enough to understand this flick but this in my opinion is a waste of time. I give a second star for the actors, they are not bad. But the whole movie in general is just nonsense.

When will they learn..

Warning: Spoilers
I watched all Seasons of this show just for entertainment purpose. It's well made. Althoug in Episode 3 of Lockdown it really got me on the wrong foot: they use The Satanic Bible by Szanador LaVey and the Necronomicon by Lovecraft to get some paranormal "results". First: The Necronomicon is a fictional book written by Lovecraft who is a fantasy horror author. There is not even a legitimate discussion if his work is true or not, his work is purely fictional, it's not even pseudo-science. Everyone knows he wrote the Necronomicon to create some sort of backing mythology for his horror novels which center around Cthulhu. To use this in a way to get some paranormal results shows the lack of seriousness and backup knowledge for occult things from this guys.

Second they use the "Satanic Bible" by Lavey. I'm myself into occultism and LaVey Satanism is shunned by occultists, Satanists and Luciferians because it has nothing to do with demons, satan or spirits. LaVey created his concept of "philosophy" to make money, second: to mak fun of spiritual religions and mock them. Real theosophic Occultists like me feel very fooled by LaVeys attempt to bring up the name Satan with his nonsensical philosophy. He was never a real satanist but the public see his books "the satanic bible" among others for 10 bucks on amazon and think this is the real deal. That's really sad.

And most of all: You can't get any paranoraml results or summon spirits and demons with these books. Their lack of knowledge towards occultism while using every book they think is "evil" hurts their credibility. Paranormal Investigators really should know better...

Death Wish 3 (1985)

Do not take it serious
11 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
While Death Wish 1 and 2 were reasonable movies with charme, Death Wish 3 is totally NUTS. Logic is annihilated in this movie. There is an extreme bodycount and the whole movie is about civil war. Charles Bronson was never an actor with big emotions but in this movie.. his girlfriend gets killed one minute after he gets out the car where she is inside and then watches the car burn down in a scene that lasts for 5 seconds. Also the car rolled 20 meters and crashed in another car and both car explode instantly ???! The event never got mentioned again in the whole movie and you don't see him grief or anything like that.

And the amount of bullets that don't hit people even if they stay right in front of firepower is ridiculous. And what about the motives of the extreme stupid behaviour of the gang members? Nothing gets explained why they start a civil war at all. The leader just always says "He is in my territory". Fine okay but what are the motivation for 600 (literally bodycount!) punks to follow his orders? At the end of the movie the city block felt like a setpiece out of "Escape from NY". But it's still a movie i would recommend watching with other people to laugh about. As other reviewers stated: If you watch the movie as a comedy piece it's very entertaining. I watched the first two movies before and expected something a bit more serious, maybe that's why my rating is so low.
