The Young Turks (2005)
Complete garbage
This show is so disingenuous and dishonest, I cringe when I hear them talk. If you are anything but far left, you'd have to be a masochist to listen to them. They are demeaning and degrading, and essentially call anyone who doesn't agree with them ignorant, corrupted, brain-washed or evil.
They rarely give honest unbiased facts and have a history of unfairly accusing people of malintent.
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Are you tired of movies with an actual plot or character development?
*Spoiler alerts... I GUESS*
So initially I had this movie at around 6.5, but the more I thought about it, the more angry I got. I'm a big Caps fan and enjoyed most of these Marvel movies (Minus age of Ultron). But this movie was just lazy.
So here is the entire movie... seriously: Opening scene the Avengers have to stop these guys. And there's a lot of collateral damage. The UN is like "You guys f*** things up too much. Stop". And there is a protocol to keep them in check. Protocol is led by a Nigerian King and a prince (sounds like a scam to me... see what I did there?)
So Ironman is like, "Yeah! Good idea!" And Cap is like "Nah. We're not doing to do that". Then everyone picks a side. And they cheaply introduce some characters. Then they fight. And while they're fighting, they're like "Oh, sorry I have to fight you". Then they stop fighting... That's the whole F***in movie... That's it.
There is something else about a Slovokian (or something) special units guy. But he's only used to show IronMan this video that pisses them off and makes them want to fight.
That's it... Seriously. If you watched this movie and liked it, but now realize the movie didn't need to happen, you're welcome. The whole movie was to introduce like two new characters.
Disney was like "You know what... screw it. Forget the actual effort of writing anything. These dummies will watch it." (I'm guilty).
Anyway, the end....
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
If you're a DC fan...
If you're a DC fan, you'll love this film.
Disclosure, this is my first IMDb review. Mostly because I can't understand why it's getting such negative reviews, other than people were expecting Marvel (and thank God it wasn't). Maybe the best Super Hero movie. So why a 10/10?
1. The acting. Holy Kryptonite, Wonder Woman! Everyone was spot on. Affleck, which I called, nailed it. Maybe the best Batman yet. Cavill, plays the role well - Handsome, good, moral (But I think he needs to shine more). Gadot, sexy and elegant, as Wonder Woman should be. Eisenberg, really owned the character (I think they could've gotten someone to fit the role better, but he did an excellent job still).
2. Story line. It was a bit rushed, but it had to be. A lot of information coming at you, but it was well done. It introduced the characters and hinted on how they will come together later on. No real gaping holes if you know the DC Universe. Oh! And the Flash! If you're a fan, you'll know what I'm talking about.
3. The feel. It was dark. I mean, the first half is the darkness of humanity. Then Batman. If you're looking for a typical, feel-good movie, this won't be it. The beginning really makes you think about how humanity would react to a God if it was materialized.
4. Fight scene. Have you watched the animated, "The Dark Knight Returns"? Well, same idea. Really smart way of taking something good and making it their own.
The negative reviews are from people that I really think just weren't ready for this movie. That is, they were looking for the Avengers (which is way off base) or maybe something closer like the Dark Knight (but this WASN'T A BATMAN MOVIE, you can't compare).
All in all, watch it. Movie was incredible. Don't listen to the reviews and form your own opinion.
