Dublin Accents woeful

As much as i wanted to love this movie i just couldn't get over the attempted working class Dublin accents by these Irish actors. People might find this strange given lead actors are actually from Dublin but working class they are not! At times its credible but largely all I heard was the posh D4 (term for posh & privilaged Dublin people) An irish audience is unforgiving when it comes to an accent being botched by international actors. Its 100% more disappointing when its being botched by your own. This story telling would have been far more authentic had talented actors from inner city / working class Dublin been employed or actors who could diversify in the accent effectively.

What's happened??!!!

I have loved every season so far but I'm sooo bored and we are 3 episodes in!!! Really hoping it picks up. This is one of my favourite shows but I'm really disappointed with season 4 to date.

One Dollar (2018)

IGNORE THE LOW SCORE - UNDERATED GEM

Despite it's low review, I went with my better judgement and decided to watch One Dollar as the storyline intrigued me. I'm so glad I did as It's one of the better shows I've watched this year. From the start the viewer knows a crime has occured but wonderful writing allows multi character storylines to develop in a way that the crime itself becomes the backdrop and it's the personal stories of individuals that are the focus of the show. This can only be accomplished by great acting and original storytelling. Thoroughly deserves a better score than it currently has.
