Foundation: A Necessary Death (2023)
The perfect Segway to end of season 2
This episode seem to bring all the pieces into place. It felt like it was going to push us towards the ending that we've been waiting for since season One.
This build up is the most important reasons why season One did not click with the audience that much, because we didn't feel like it was a completed ending.
This seems like it is setting up well to finish strong.
I clearly like how the empire and foundation are mix and matching. The actors playing Empire is really good, especially the one playing day.
The concept of it all seems she well executed.
O wonder what was the missing pieces of information in all the cleans and if Demrezel is actually trimming the knowledge so that we get to a point where it all shoots back into empire.
Conceiving a new empire maybe will end the dynasty. If you see last season, she was very much affected by the whole thing with those desert priests and maybe she is playing the longer game of ending the empire.
See: This Land Is Your Land (2022)
Uninspiring Slow and stuck
I enjoyed season 1, season 2 was ok, season 3 has been bad.
This episode was so slow, uninteresting, it made no effort to amp up the energy levels throughout the episode.
I feel they are beating around the bush at all, the story seems to go nowhere. It is not fun to watch.
I hope that the next episode gets better. If not, there is no hook for me to continue this season. None of the characters seem good enough for season 3. Bada Voss is being stupid, unusefull and straight up boring.
There is no staunch excitement about the world that they were building in season 1, it almost seems like its a different world.
I also don't understand why everything is so sepia, as though they are in a place with dust storms. I don't get it.
Just irritated with this episode. Disappointed.
Black Bird: The Place I Lie (2022)
Chilling experience with one of the best acting
This is turning out to be such a great show.
The snitch scene, the Larry breakdown scene and the Jimmy scene in the end.
Wow, this is pure masterclass.
So chilling and scary, a psychological rollercoaster.
To agree with something so scary to just get the conversation going, damn, Taron and Paul are in a whole new dimension here.
Intense and Intense !
Will miss this show, such great skill, these actors.
Dark Matter: Kill Them All (2016)
A good episode, very fast paced, fan service done well, bad acting
I really liked the episode because it didn't lag anywhere, on to the point. But the episode was too fast paced, shifting a lot between scenes, would have been better if we could have got to see the crew interact and be more natural, the reason why i like this show in the first place. This episode lacked that. The direction the show is taking is very interesting and i dig it. Hope its more humanly in the coming episodes. I felt the acting too to be kind of bad as it was very below-par. The cast is amazing but i guess we could blame the direction for this episode. The fights that ensued didn't seem realistic, as in, we could see that the people on screen waiting for cues rather than being natural at a circumstance like that, like it wasn't natural, the action too was slowly executed nevertheless it was entertaining.
