Fear the Walking Dead: The Beginning (2021)
A painful waste of time
It seems each new episode is worst than the last. People are not acting realisticly. OK Morgan let Teddy go free after releasing the missile last time was bad enough but why would June and John Sr. All of a sudden show love for Dakota? Oh and lets not forget Morgan surviving a necular missile by hiding under a truck.
Without Remorse (2021)
I have remorse from watching this trash.
Nothing about this movie made sense. If the movie was true to the book I can only think that Tom Clancy has run out of good ideas. The only good thing is that I didn't pay to see this in a theater.
Veep (2012)
Love this show
Full of characters you love to hate. One of the best last episodes of a series ever. Very moving.
Fear the Walking Dead: The Holding (2021)
Terrible script
The actions of the characters make no sense. Glad to see Alicia back but how see managed to get herself caught again makes zero sense. Seems like lazy writing and direction. Why after she started the fire didn't she just leave by the same door her friends left? Total disappointment.
Things Heard & Seen (2021)
A lot of good actors in a bad story.
I didn't read the book this film was based upon but if it was true to the book, then the book would have been awful.
Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
Lazy writing and lazy direction.
Nothing made sense in this episode. Alicia's actions were lacked all reason. In retrospect I think I might have been too generous in giving this episode a 5 star rating. Please put some effort into future stories.
The Irregulars (2021)
Total Disappointment
Was really looking forward to seeing this. Plots are over the top. I really dislike the characterization of Dr. Watson. Hard to give a willing suspension of disbelief for this supernatural dumpster fire.
The Walking Dead: Find Me (2021)
Not very good.
Arguably for me one of the worst episodes of the series. Really made little sense. You could skip this episode and would not effect your understanding of the ongoing story. Oh yes, it was very boring.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)
Nothing else to watch.
I have hung in there because I have been a fan of The Walking Dead since it's first episode but this show is junk. The writing is contrived and forced. I can't believe in the motivations of these characters. I find myself rooting for them to be eaten by Zombies. The acting is not great but the story line is horrible.
Saturday Night Live: Adele/H.E.R. (2020)
Beat Episode of the Season to date.
Adele did a excellent job as host. Weekend Update seemed fun for the first time this season. The cold opening was a little bit better than the prior shows this year but still is has few laughs. I am hoping that the writing will continue to get better. We shall see.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Loved this Movie
I was a student at UCLA during the time depicted in the movie. The set design and costumes brought back great memories. My second favorite Tarantino movie after Pulp Fiction.
Saturday Night Live: Issa Rae/Justin Bieber (2020)
Show just not funny.
The first episode of this season was just plain not funny. Episode 2 with was an improvement and gave me hope that show had rebounded. With this 3rd installment the show took another nose dive. Maybe there was a couple of good jokes on Update but that was about it. Please people get your act together.
Saturday Night Live: Chris Rock/Megan Thee Stallion (2020)
Terrible Episode
I was really looking forward to SNL. Imagine my disappointment when there was not one laugh the entire evening. The opening a debate sketch was completely wthout humor. Chris Rock's monologue boring heard and it just got worse from there. It's beyond me how anyone could find anything on redeeming about about this episode. Hopefully the rest of the season will get better.
Moonlight (2007)
Kinda a ripoff of the show Angel
As I said this is a ripoff of angel except the characters are not as interesting and the plots are very thin.. Not surprised it didn't get picked up for another season.
Choose Me (1984)
You will either love it or hate it.
If you look at the reviews there appears to be no middle ground. People either love this movie or hate it. I loved it. Definitely off beat. Absurdly funny. If you loved Big Trouble in Little China, a movie that came out couple years later, this will be your kinda movie. The 80's had some gems.
Captain Marvel (2019)
The trolls are really out to get this movie.
I had a great time with this movie. I suspect that many of the negative reviews are from people who have not even seen the movie. Lots of fun. Can't wait to see how this plays out in End Game.
Where's Poppa? (1970)
A disturbingly funny movie.
The original released end of this movie is upbeat and I enjoyed it when I fiest saw it in the theater. If you are a fan of this film you owe it to yourself to watch the alternate ending on the DVD. More in keeping with the tone of the movie and I believe more faithful to original source material.
