For a Very Niche Audience: Those Who Went to Catholic High School in the Early 2000s
10 September 2020
If you went to a Catholic high school in the early 2000s, you'll TOTALLY get this film! Like I, you'll be thinking "someone in my class must have wrote this screenplay". It is spot-on... COR, TEC, and yes of course Kairos retreat attendees - this is for you!

Wake Up Naysayers!
10 November 2019
This movie is often criticized because of the unbelievability that everyone is going to an Ivy League college. When it fact it is very believable given the timing of the release of this movie. It could be implied that the parents of Molly's slacker peers were complicit in the College Admissions Scandal in which the elite and wealthy parents of underperforming high school students were exposed for paying bribes in order to get their kids accepted into Ivy League schools. This movie is an ahead of it's time comedic take on that.

Supporting Cast Makes The Film!
23 March 2017
This movie is exactly what the title claims - it's a raunchy slapstick about an office Christmas party. The plot is so basic that the majority of the film is filler improv from the long & strong list of comedic supporting actors cast in the film. In this reviewer's opinion, this is what makes the movie stand out. While top billed cast (Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, Olivia Munn, Courtney B. Vance) work within the limits & confines of the main story arc, supporting cast members including T.J. Miller, Jillian Bell, Rob Corddry, Vanessa Bayer, Randall Park, Kate McKinnon (who continues to do no wrong when given the opportunity to commit to a character), and even small bit players like Matt Walsh, Ben Falcone, Erick Chavarria, Adrian Martinez, and Fortune Feimster all given the liberty to veer from the script, shine in their respective roles. If you know them, then you know their brand of comedy - which does not disappoint in this film!

I Really Wanted to Like This Show, but....
12 March 2017
I really wanted to like this show, after all it has a catchy theme song and diversified cast of child actors, but I couldn't. There are so many plot holes, just about every episode has a major one going against the main plot. The plot holes are so distracting they take away from the rhythm of the episode and thus this viewer's ability to enjoy it.
