Arkansas (2020)
Way better than it's rated
Excellent casting, the South is true to life - in general, kinda hard to truly capture it. I don't want to ruin anything, so I'm not gonna say anything else. But 5.9 rating? On this movie? This is why I don't let ratings stop me from watching movies.
Wayne (2019)
I only watch 10s
This show is a 10. I don't think I could handle a show that is any better than this show. It's brilliant.
The Ranch (2016)
I can't even watch this show to know exactly how much I would hate it.
I like the f-word as much as anyone, but the constant abuse of this word takes all the beauty out of it. Do they use it to disguise the lack of a script and the wooden acting? I tried to watch a whole episode, but the cringe was just too much. My husband is currently watching this in the bedroom, and I'm waiting for him to finish so that I can go back in there. So tired right now. When they added the baby crying in with the constant unnecessary use of profanity and Sam Elliot's wooden performance, I just had to leave. I feel a little better now.
Forever (2018)
I couldn't stop watching
I'm not entirely sure why. I like the cast, so that's part of it. It's about soul searching and relationships, which are usually two turn offs for me. I can't wait for the next season.
Chewing Gum (2015)
How can a show that is so adult in nature be so sweet and pure at the same time?
Tracey is adorable. Even her fundamentalist Christian mother is adorable - how is every person on this show so fabulously flawed yet so endearing? I cannot wait for season 3, and I hope the addition of a writers' room doesn't take away this show's charm. <3
Rostered On (2016)
Just right
Adorable. I really like the characters and the simplicity of the show. I worked retail for a very very long 3-4 weeks, and I sincerely hope that I never have to do it again.
Small Town Security (2012)
Absolutely fell in love with this show
Found it on Amazon Prime. I'm not a big fan of reality tv normally, but I am so glad I found this one.
Logan Lucky (2017)
One of my new favorites
I'm so glad I came across this movie on Amazon Prime. Fabulous cast and they really pulled off the accents too. This was so much fun to watch.
Dave Chappelle: Equanimity (2017)
Maybe he should give up
He talks about why he thinks about giving up comedy in this routine, and maybe he should give up and start sermonizing instead. I couldn't stomach the last Netflix special because of his preaching, and this one was more of the same.
