Childish women
20 December 2023
I have to agree with everyone here, it seems like if things don't go the women's way they behave badly. Bradley is mad and so she throws a temper tantrum at her awards ceremony. Alex is upset so she doesn't show up for the rocket launch. She trained for months, yet she bails?? It was understandable in the first season when tensions were high and people were devastated and upset. But now in the third season they are so unprofessional and it's actually immature.

I also agree with others the storylines from last season just vanished.

Of course this is a very liberal show. And getting more so.....

So bad
19 November 2023
I had to look this movie up because I wondered if it was from the 2010s, when Hallmark movies were at their worst. The dialogue was just awful. I couldn't believe this was made in 2023.

Maybe it was the writer's strike or something. They were saying such sappy, cliche lines. Some things were syrupy sweet, and other things were just dumb."What's his story?" then the guy answered "well he's single"(wink wink) I don't know how the actor didn't choke on these words. So many lines were like that. I never heard " hubba hubba" but that's what it felt like.

The teenagers must have been really struggling with the dialogue that they had to say. Everyday after filming they must have said "no one talks like this"

Just ok
24 August 2023
I just couldn't see any chemistry between these two actors. I couldn't put my finger on it, so near the end I Google searched my suspicions, Luke is gay in real life. You just can't act hard enough to make people believe there's chemistry between a gay man and a straight woman.

She wore a lot of makeup and he was sporting a beard in a rugged look, it seemed so weird.

And the way she was dressed, white pants while staining wood? Doing construction with off the shoulder sweater?

The sad thing is it was a beautiful place, lovely scenery, and a fair story. I didn't know Luke was gay but it really showed. I easily guessed it by the weird behavior.

The Rookie: Feds (2022–2023)

I really like Britt, James and Felix. So I stuck it out. Yes, so much is not plausible for an FBI office.

Unfortunately there's a whole lot of discussion on racial Injustice. Even though the entire FBI office consist of only two white people, one is a woman the other is an ex-TV actor. The office is full of every other ethnic race. Instead of rejoicing, there's a lot of lecturing.

Britt's character has a really pathetic storyline. I actually liked it better in the beginning.

As for the main character, it seems like the idea was that her street smarts was going to help solve cases. But it really hasn't gone that way.(sigh)

Worth watching
8 April 2023
The movie starts out a little slow. The acting isn't the greatest. But it's an amazing story. And they managed to make it very moving.

Yes, there are some kids in the movie that actually have no point. I kept waiting to find out if for some reason they were going to be a help. In the end, it was fun to see them be part of the experience.

I really feel like Dennis Quaid has had his time. I think someone else would have been better suited to this part but he has a recognized name.

This story was worth telling and it is worth watching. I found it very moving, and it doesn't happen to me often.

At first, but then...
11 March 2023
At first I didn't like this. The beginning couple of episodes felt like people stuck on a desert island ... fight for food, cutthroat stuff, and I didn't really care to watch it. I'm streaming it on Peacock and there wasn't anything else I was wanting to watch so I would watch in the background while doing dishes. As the season went on it got more interesting. By season 2 I was hooked. After season 2, I went back and I'm rewatching season 1. Now that I know the characters I'm finding season 1 better. I had a hard time getting into it at first. I can't wait for season 3. It is a good story and there's many layers to it.

Also, I really like the actors.

Season 2

What an improvement! Season 1 had Katee Sackhoff yet it was fraught with so many problems. It seems like one person wrote for all the characters, they all talked the same, and the over use of the F-word was ridiculous. As well as they acted like high schoolers in fighting. Season 2 is a great Improvement, I think Netflix knew what they had in Katee Sackhoff and decided to write a better script. I enjoyed this season so much better. I wanted to go back and figure out what the mission was but I didn't think I could stomach watching season 1 again.

Come on!

Seriously, the Trevor character was aggressive with the cop, if I were a cop & a black man was angrily talking (he looked like he was going to explode), and then turned to me, started to yell, refused to keep his hands on the vehicle, I'd pull my gun. The doctor told him to be calm, it was Trevor's fault. Where was that part of the story.

2nd Chance
27 September 2021
I really liked the show so much that I thought I would give it a second chance. Last season was awful. It felt like watching the news and being lectured at the same time, relentlessly. It was not an enjoyable season at all. This season seems to be starting off better. Intriguing, interesting, not sure where it's going...but a story, not the news.

Lecture, lecture, lecture.
6 May 2021
I agree with recent reviews. Loved the show, couldn't wait for the next episode. Now it just seems to be lecture upon lecture. We've gotten enough of this stuff over the past year, we look forward to escaping the news not reliving it through the eyes of these characters we've grown to love. Now it's grating on my nerves. So disappointing.

Laugh out loud!!
30 August 2020
I just finished watching this for the second time, saw it when it first came out. We laughed so much, quirky Zooey Deschanel, and Bradley Cooper! It was entertaining, silly, Terry Bradshaw... naked! I loved it and can't believe it got a 5.6 rating on IMDb. Other 5 .6 movies are so bad and this one's so funny. I'd give it a nine because the acting is not the best I've seen of these actors, but it deserves a better rating than 5.6. Hope this boost it. So enjoyable! It is rare when we laugh out loud at a movie, and we did just that. Fun.

Could have been....
12 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This was a good movie idea....it's a very raw look at the break down of a person suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. For some reason, not relevant to the story, it throws in a lengthy, graphic sex scene. They let her out of the hospital after 72 hrs when she is clearly ill. (Which shows what is wrong in America today.) But the ending, are we to think it was true...aliens? or was it a total break down. It was too slow to get there, boring scenes not relevant that made you feel like, 'where is this movie going?' that went no where. I turned it off, and watched the rest while cleaning the kitchen....

Favorite Movie of ALL Time, Great at Christmas
15 May 2006
When I told my husband the plot of this story, the mistaken identity didn't sound plausible. Yet they did a wonderful job of making this believable. The chemistry is amazing between Sandra and Bill Pullman. Peter Boyle was perfect. I liked him so much in this role; he was lovable and has some lines in this movie that were memorable. The scene at Mass was so funny.

I now watch this every Christmas. It is romantic, warm and funny. The family was kind, silly and loving toward one another. Lucy sees the value of family and the film does a great job of relaying this to the audience. It will make you feel warm and tender about those you love, and you will smile.

The music is classic! It fits the story perfectly.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!
