I love the book (it's my favourite of all books) and (this is something I rarely say, I normally don't like adaptations from a book when I've read it but) I loved the series too! It was a perfect adaptation, no one could do it better. Colin Firth is Mr Darcy, there's no arguing there, it's not easy to play a character loved by half the female population on this planet and do so outstandingly well. Jennifer was also the perfect Elizabeth Bennet, Keira Knightly shall never be as good as her I think (but I'm not the one to say this because I haven't seen the new adaption of Pride and Prejudice jet). It's like all the characters just stepped out of the book, talk about a perfect cast, how do they do it? The DVD lies on top of my DVD-player, and I've lost the count of how many times I've seen it.(must be over a hundred times, and I'm still not bored of it). a series you must have seen!
