American Horror Story: Drink the Kool-Aid (2017)
Doubters get no cookies!
The first episode and the rest were very slow and some of the story lines had a lot of holes(no pun intended) and didn't really make any sense. The last episode was terrible with Lena Dunham because her character was irritating and contradicted herself as a person. I couldn't stand how extreme her character was. "Drink the Kool Aid" made up for the terrible episode because the episode was. good! There are very funny lines like "Doubters get no cookies" "Buddy, Wikipedia is fake news" "I already did." Etc etc.
The episode starts with giving us viewers a history lesson on one of the cult leaders, Jim Jones. He put cyanide in Kool Aid and killed millions of people while Kai gets everyone to drink it, when it turned out to be a prank. Beverly is triggered and so is all the other girls when Kai says dramatically, "THERE's NOTHING IN THE KOOOOLLL AAAAAIIIIDDDDDD!"
Let's talk about how much ally's character has developed through the season. In the beginning, she played the same annoying character back in Roanoke that just screamed and ran away. "I KNOW WHAT I SAW." This episode shows Ally's true intentions and how she won't let anyway stand in her way in getting what she wants! She poisons ivy because she wants Oz to herself. That scene was iconic since it shows ally's true malicious intentions as she watches her cough up blood. Ally and Kai have some sick twisted love story going on because that scene....wow! But no seriously, Ally has some plan and I'm not exactly sure yet what it is. Ally character development is really well done because before she was irritating and seemed weak, but in reality she outsmarts everyone on the cult and will be wickedly smart in figuring out how to manipulate everyone involved in the Cult. We seen her in her weakest state and now she is smart and devious with a plan for Kai, but what? Kai is not the father, no, but she convinces him he is the father? Yet, she doesn't want to share her son with anyone, so why Kai? She did give a little smirk as he hugged her, so her plan must be much worse which will show in the season finale. I think ally will kill everyone and create her own cult. What is Ally plan for Kai? Very great production and a good story line oh my god! Everything starts to unravel and many shocking moments happen. So sad it's almost over . Can't wait for the next season of AHS. Ryan Murphy! You're doing a great job sweetie!
Star vs. the Forces of Evil: Battle for Mewni: Puddle Defender/Battle for Mewni: King Ludo (2017)
"You can Never silence the Resistance"
These two episodes is where it all starts off. Magic is slowly dying from Toffee and they need a place to stay. Moon goal is to keep her only daughter save from Toffee and then you see a Starco Moment!!!
"Puddle Defender" is an episode where Star and Moon go to Bullfrogs home and sees his house is sorta a mess. The interaction between all through is hilarious and stars faces/moon face is meme worthy. Moon is discriminate against monsters(maybe the encounter she had with Eclipsa) and Bullfrog can tell Moon is completely against him. They play a game called "Puddle Defender" where Munions must destroy and pass the monsters to eat their babies. She begins to become Infuriated and tells Bullfrog he's not a good parent. Long story short, Star goes against her mothers orders and one of the babies end up finding a secret hideout. She ends up just going to destroy toffee without any plan.
"Battle for Mewnie:King Ludo" we can now see Toffee is taking control of the wands and Ludo is doing evil things, but believes he has done everything. Marco starts a Resistance and Ruberiot end up singing a song(Patrick stump get ready fandom!) These two were great episodes and Marco saying "Now we Fight" starts off everything and the battle. Spoiler alert:Toffee is dead
Star vs. the Forces of Evil: Battle for Mewni: Toffee (2017)
how could u kill off toffee????
What the heck DisneyXD I need a talk with these writers/storyboard writers and ask how they created the most amazing movie ever that made me cry, laugh, mad, and emotionally unstable. They killed off Toffee, now I never will be able to hear Michael C. hall's voice. Perfect voice actor, malicious, maniacal, sadistic, intelligent, sly lizard no new antagonist will top that. Toffee did the impossible which is dying in s1 finale, but smiling throughout the entire scene saying, "It's been a pleasure." He had a plan up on lizard like sleeve and that is why he is the best villain ever made! He is sly, sneaky and know what he wants and will get it and show no remorse and can escape any death possible, so my question I wonder is why he didn't run away from the battle scene, but just walk? He kinda looked like my job is done and was calm. I guess this was all planed as they wrote this movie.
I do understand why you killed off toffee or had to because you need to introduce a new villain, but wouldn't it be epic if eclipsa and Toffee team up? He's just iconic and getting rid of a complex character is a waste. He's the king of roasts and can just be funny at times.
So this episode is exactly the title, Toffee. We see Toffee possessed Ludo and is using him as a puppet to drain the magic and ruin Stars family. He's sadistic and cold in this one and when he speaks the show begins to turn in a dark twist. We see him at his actual physical form where star is transported in a goop like dimension. Turns out toffee has all the magic and is turning it into goop. Their dialogue with each other shows his true intentions and what he wants. He shows no remorse for anyone and walks away like a boss.
Other than that this part of the movie had tore the fandom apart with Marco punching a hole in Toffee with tears in his eyes and Star's mom with her motherly instincts knowing star is "dead." But she's no and revives and dips down to defeat toffee leavings behind a haunting image that will leave an imprint in our minds forever. Ludo is a savage and Moon might be in trouble! I felt like I was playing a video game when star transformed into her munion form and her face smiling as she blasts toffee was meme worthy! Really great writing guys Bravo bravo!!!! You guys deserve an Oscar for creating the best movie ever with making everyone go insane waiting for November! November *eats Milky way* like November.....November. I get September but November? I'll be waiting Daron Nefcy! Crush me with the rest of s3 please.
Star vs. the Forces of Evil: Storm the Castle (2015)
Brilliant, just Brilliant
Wow...wow...wow.... Toffee really is twisted and smart. That's what makes him a good villain he is No chill and salty...I love him. His interaction with Marco is kinda cute and funny dialogue between the two. I think it's funny, but can we talk about how he was smiling as the wand was about to explode?!? It's obvious he wanted this and planned this whole thing and they left his suit there so I'm guessing he escaped. We all know he's alive now, but the question is when he was defeated a second time(I think) in battle for mewnie he did not fight back and walked away in victory until star blasted him and Ludo finished him off. Anyways great Show amazing actually. I could be 80 and still watch this.
Star vs. the Forces of Evil: Battle for Mewni: Return to Mewni/Battle for Mewni: Moon the Undaunted (2017)
"Have you learned nothing?"
This movie was great and I really enjoyed the story line they developed for us and thought it was genius how they gave us a flashback of Moon's first encounter with Toffee.
The movie starts off just as it ended, the tone begins to become a much darker tone with the blue colors and the setting of nighttime. They then show Marco distressed about star's disappearance out of no where. Star is watching everything as magic is slowly draining out and everything is vanishing. Like any good show will have an antagonist, some evil force trying to take away star's power and kills her and becomes resurrected as an upgrade of a bright highlighted anime from dragon ball Z. She begins to dip down and pulls a dragon ball Z moment burning Toffee.
You end up. getting a great backstory of star's mom and two different perspectives of earth and Mewni where star is trying to defeat Toffee and save the world. In the flashback we find out when Toffee appeared first and her interaction with her now husband river. We then see she made a deal with eclipsa and was told a dark spell that can kill something immortal. Once toffee is killed she will then get her freedom. She seemed hesitant to killing toffee and misses to only get his middle finger detached. "Have you learned nothing?" He says as he tries to regenerate. Nothing.. Oh he'll be back he Hadn't got what he wanted yet.
I would say the humor is mature in this one with a masterbation joke in there, but nothing too bad. It did leave off with a cliff hanger and it is still unknown if Star's mom is going to die. All in all, it was a great movie and brought in many different story lines that flowed well. For all you Starco shippers there was only one Starco moment. Live it, breathe it, cherish it put it in a trophy case and display on your wall. Star and Marco share a hug and it's obvious Marco is in love with star. There is no Jackie because she is irrelevant and Starco is forever. I'm shook.
Star vs. the Forces of Evil: Collateral Damage/Just Friends (2017)
"And we will be just friends"
This episode had lots of metaphors to Star and Marco's relationship and truly shows it at the concert in face the music where star is left with sadness on her face as she sees Marco make out with Jackie full on. Poor star.
The episode starts off where there singing with toothbrushes of a song called "Just Friends" that really relates to star and Marco. He showed her her world and for star it was a sign, but he acted to slow and ended up finding somebody new. She ends up getting a concert ticket for Jackie so Marco can be with his girlfriend, however he is in love with star and doesn't want to admit it. So as they are heading to the concert Star and Jackie are becoming good friends and they end up at the concert. They start singing and we see homosexual, pan sexual, gay couples kissing. Hooray Disney showed their first gay kiss! But wait? Star is holding Marco's hand and he's in the middle of a make out with Jackie. Star is crushed so she walks down and Marco walks down and says "Star" right after he kisses Jackie. He asks if she's OK and she's like "Of course now go back to your girlfriend" with a very crazy look on her face. As love sentence sings "till the day you broke my heart" she breaks the sign with her magic! Oh star is mad now and her crush is even deeper. However, star and Marco BELONG together.
Star vs. the Forces of Evil: Starcrushed (2017)
I'm screaming star is gone
Wow.....wow....wow.... bravo!! I have to say star vs. the forces of evil really kicked ass with their season finale because it had everything emotional and began to turn dark real fast throughout the end with the no outro and silence in the background. Making me believe star was the symbol or metaphor of light and radiated happiness and beauty into the world for Marco, but now that she is gone the world is completely dark and the only thing you can hear is the sounds of fire engines(fire maybe from all the chaos?) and crickets. It's just plan dark and Almost played with your emotions.
This is the episode that started it all. It starts to develop with the ships(may I say Starco) and how he actually is with Jackie right now, but we all know star is crushed or should I say Starcrushed. The emotions and the way Disney put this together was just beautiful and I have no words, no words. From the last episode Ruggiero had already sang the song about star's desire for Marco's love and now that was put out Disney totally made a twist. Marco is in love with Jackie's image of what he truly loved in kindergarten and got to live his fantasy, but the real question is he in love with star? And we certainly get some hints throughout the show that he might be in love with star.
Some parts of the show get a little different, star lost her desire for Oscar and is almost emotionally heart broken that Marco is not only with a cool chick, but Star has already been friends with Jackie and has nothing mean to say about her. It just truly breaks my heart. There is this huge scene where the mother is trying to find Ludo and we find out his sad backstory(poor Ludo) to where she begins to fight her battle. It's a battle with toffee the most malicious and down right mean villain in star. He's coming back for his finger now star must leave earth to fight toffee(next season)
This is where the shipping has began and the chairs turn she reveals her crush for Marco. "I I do have a crush on you I didn't wanna admit it because I know you don't feel the same and now I have to leave earth" *tears* This seen was super emotional for star and when she runs in her room Marco leaves Jackie dumbfounded and he yells Star where all the magic has disappeared. The house is gone, she's gone forever. Boy this season finale really hit me hard because there was so much chaos and so much darkness. They even got rid of that fun outro song and I was ready to sing until all I heard was silence. Even I was trapped in my own silent thoughts with that outro. Bravo bravo! Best season finale yet.
Imposters (2017)
Funny entertaining the main guy is some eye candy
Wow! I'm impressed with Imposters and it's not just the great acting that pulled me in, but the humor and the graphics is what really got me intrigued in this show. Like wow and man is the main guy hot as hell. He certainly is some nice eye candy.
Let me start of with talking about the premise of the show. It first starts of with a guy who just got married to a girl where he believes it is the picture perfect relationship. He is completely invested in a persona that she has acted with him. He believes she's perfect with the British accent and her beauty and becomes in love with her. One day he wants to buy something for his wife and finds out all his credit cards are declined. Yes his "so called" dream woman had stole every last bit of his money and left a secret(could be about the dads affair) in a envelope. He then gets a video from the girl saying she is gone and will never find him where he wants to discover who she really is.
I kinda just gave away the entire plot, but what really got me intrigued was the interactions of each of the characters and the humor. It can be a little dark, but you start to feel sympathy for everyone she begins to seduce and con every guy and woman in being their wife and stealing their money. She is a con artist so she has to play a role of sophisticated woman to scandalous woman and classy woman. She basically will find a person's insecurities and use it against them to take advantage of them. However the one thing getting in the way of this is falling in love with the man from the coffee shop. Really that is where I got to, but I'm certainly loving this show and the music is such a good soundtrack. Great show A+
The Bachelorette (2003)
Cringe level to the max
I don't know why I even enjoy watching this show because it's honestly the dumbest romance dating show I ever saw. Like literally it's really dumb. I also don't know why I like the bachelor because even then it's super cringy and makes you roll your eyes(at times) the romance is pretty dramatic and looks staged. You also go through many emotions depending on why guy your rooting for or if you know drama will go down you begin to feel excited for next weeks episode.
Let me get to the premise of the bacherolette. You have one girl who chooses between many different guys and finds someone for a life partner. Some of the romance in the show is absolutely unrealistic. It's not like you look at a good looking guy and start making out the first time. The romance makes me cringe at times and all the guys are so cheesy, yet the show is so stupid to just have a good laugh. These guys at ridiculous to win the heart of bacherolette Rachel. There is very funny drama in it with all the guys fighting for her or starting arguments because they want more one on one time with Rachel. I will admit this show is garbage, but it's just a show to watch and laugh or be in awe of their stupidity. My god the guys can be so dumb at times and the decisions made(like giving lee the rose) is incredibly stupid. But yet again I only watch this show for good drama and to cringe. Seriously cringe worthy and can be shallow as heck showing the dating culture now. Wow like I said I don't understand why I bother watching it it's just my guilty pleasure even tho it's kinda dumb.
A Haunted House 2 (2014)
A take on every cliché Horror film
This movie will always be my favorite horror film, mostly because it mocks every single horror film in the book. It's not suppose to be serious, it's just suppose to be light hearted, stupid, and funny all together. It's a good take on a parody of every single horror film like Anabelle(the doll), Saw, The exorcist, paranormal activity, Insidious, etc. Some of these horror films are just down right stupid so it's refreshing to see a movie making fun of it.
This show leaves off where his ex girlfriend, Kisha, was possessed by a demon and now he has a new girlfriend where he moves in with his children. There are many stereotypes in this film like the promiscuous daughter, weird son, psychotic doll, etc. This show just created a spoof on every horror film with putting down night 1 like in paranormal activity. There are many times where a doll (Anabelle) he ends up sleeping with and shows very dumb sex scenes that are actually pretty funny. It's very over dramatic at times. He wants to end up getting rid of the demon etc. this film is just downright stupid that it's funny and really just makes fun of horror films. They use stupid humor or even offensive humor but it always tends to make me laugh all the time. I can watch this 100 X's and still laugh.
Good Behavior (2016)
Dark suffering pain of ones past
I absolutely loved this show and all the characters were well developed and the cinematography is beautiful! All the relationships between each of the characters are beautifully portrayed and the vulnerability is huge in this between Letty and Javier.
Good behavior starts with a druggy and con artist named Letty who wants to become a good person and get her life back on track. She is a drug addict who enjoys conning others and stealing money etc. As she goes through her journey in becoming a different person, she meets Javier where both worlds end up colliding and they realize they are the same people. Javier has a past of his own, he's considered the anti-hero. He is a psychotic killer where you can really see the emotion developed between these two characters who then creates a strong, emotional bond with one another. Letty starts to realize they are the same person and makes their bond even stronger which truly shows in the sex scenes portrayed throughout the show. Letty becomes vulnerable at times and all she wants is to be with her son and get clean and Javier is helping her.
The concept of the show is great, but the way this show is filmed is amazing. The different shots shown and the theme song with the use of aesthetics makes me really like this show. I always love a good theme song or a good plot and this show fits everything I'm looking for. Letty and Javier's relationship and the bond with other people shows throughout the show with the use of emotion and brings it to life. It almost makes the show appealing I'd say and really good. Developed well and the execution of the characters is very good.
Stuck in the Middle (2016)
something about it
There is something about this show that I really like. It seems like Disney channel is creating even better shows like the old Lizzie McGuire or Phil of the Future. It just reminds me of shows like that and the main girl is adorable. She also looked familiar and then I realized she was from musically and Jane the virgin.
The style of the show and the way it's filmed showing the perspective of the girl is really interesting take. What drew me to the episode I watched was he way the episode was executed. The young girl is the middle child and shows her perspective of everything going on around her. She goes to her first dance(with a twist), deals with her sisters loser boyfriend, helps her dad with her business, etc. It's creates a realistic image of a family and a young girl understanding herself. There are many times she breaks the third wall and starts talking to the audience. Breaking the third wall is an interesting image that Disney has never shown and I have to agree I really like there is no laugh track. Sometimes a laugh track can distract from the story itself or add it when nothing funny had happened. However, this show can be funny(at times) and can be Relateable. The young girl is still learning about lessons and shows it within this fun loving not comedy! As I see from the summary, it shows her going through hardships of being a middle child and learning her place in the world around her. I've only watched one episode, but I'm def hooked on this show and just reminds me of old 90's shows that I grew up and loved. Jenna Ortega is the perfect role to play the middle child and the theme song is really good. The song is catchy and so the way it's filmed. Def will check it out and watch more episodes because it's an interesting kind of show I hadn't really seen on Disney yet. I'm hoping Disney will bring back the 90's similar shows with good stories and good plots! I have now watched most of every episode and I'm in love with this adorable show. The main girl is so cute and when she breaks the wall is interesting. We get to see it from her perspective ya know and the characters and stories are sweet at the end. Always comes down to family and learning lessons in life. I'm addicted!!
SpongeBob SquarePants: Krabby Land/The Camping Episode (2004)
that is an oval it has to be a circle!
Both these episodes are so funny and almost stupid. That's the humor of this show and everyone knows spongebob to be giddy with his dumb sidekick Patrick. Krabby land was a good episode I will admit and it was funny, but the camping episode is the best episode ever. It is another episode that is memorable of spongebob from when I watched it is a little child.
The camping episode starts with squidward who gets warm tea a good book and sits down to relax apongebob is going to be away camping, or so we assume. However, spongebob and Patrick are camping 2 ft away from their house and making obnoxious sounds to annoy squidward. They start throwing marshmellows at squidward and trying to build a tent and even attract a Sea Bear. Yes, this is the episode squidward becomes mawled by a sea bear because he doesn't like him maybe. They even show him drawing a circle, but the sea bear still attacks squidward. This episode is so dumb it's funny and this episode just makes me laugh. Every single joke and every single action projected on these two are hilarious and funny.
Bob's Burgers (2011)
Funny laughable and amazing
I LOVE bob's burgers and may I say it is a delightfully funny show that I really enjoy. I still think it's funny the voice of Bob is the same as the hot promiscuous guy from Archer because they are complete opposites of One another.
Bob's Burger is about Bob you owns a restaurant with his wife,Linda, and his children Gene, Louise, and Tina. They each have there own personality traits shown in the show. Tina is awkward, but also sex crazed for a guy named Jimmy Jr. Tina is the awkward child in the family who is obsessed with boys butts and says the most weirdest things. She's funny and Relateable. Louise is absolutely a trickster and manipulative. She always have tricks up her sleeves and will possibly do anything to get what she wants. Oh Gene, he is very funny.
This show is my daily routine and is just a show I like to watch to laugh or feel good. It's one of those cute shows of a family and their relationships with other people and one another. It's so sweet at times because it always comes down to the main purpose of all and that is the family!
SpongeBob SquarePants: Chocolate with Nuts/Mermaidman and Barnacleboy V (2002)
I WANT AN ADULT SIZED KRABBY PATTY AND I WANT IT NOW" "you run it on your skin and it will make u live forever
"Fancy Living here we come la la la" Chocolate with Nuts is one of those episodes you are happen to be brought back to when watching apongebob as a child. Patrick and spongebob are looking to make some cash and live fancy like the ad they found in squidwards magazine article. They start to realize they need to become entrepreneurs and sell items people might want. Ahh this episode was hilarious it really was. They decided to sell chocolate with or without Nuts and people aren't really buying it so they exaggerate the truth and say ridiculous things like, "you'll fall in love! You'll rule the world, you rub it on your skin and it will make you live forever!" These two entrepreneurs are incredibly funny and you got the crazy dude yelling CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE! And you got the scammer who ends up scamming them
The next episode is one of those warm hearted episodes. Barnacle boy wants to be treated like a man and that's all he ever wanted. He feels mermaid man treats him like a boy, but he is "62 years old" and wants to be treated like a man. He ends up going to the dark side (the side of the restaurant Mr.Krabs doesn't light because it waste money) they go on adventures and finally they reunite once again and become friends. I have a tear in my eye. It was adorable and absolutely beautiful.
Bates Motel (2013)
Haunting, dark psychotic perception of Norman Bates
I never saw Psycho at first, but I was intrigued with this show because of the Writing, the amazing acting and the story line. I knew this is a prequel to Psycho so when I watched Psycho I had a good idea what he did with the mom. Spoiler alert, he stuffs her.
Bates Motel shows the psychological view of Norman bates before he became Psycho and goes more into a visual image of his life. Norman Bates is a psychopath yes, but he starts to embody his own mother and has the same mannerisms as her, it's creepy really. He had this unhealthy love for his mother and believes he and his mother belong together in the world with one another. He could be what is known as personality-split disorder or schizophrenic. His mother is in his head controlling his actions and later on you realize it is more of him then the mother and he really is a psychopath. His mother babied him from the start, sheltered him from girls, and made him think he was crazy. He starts to imagine certain scenarios and throughout the show you see the image of the mother rather then the image of Norman Bates, Creepy right! And to think the cute child from Charlie and the chocolate favorite would become so insane, so creepy, and so murderous.
The ending was beautiful and almost creepy. He ends up dying and can be with his mother in the afterlife....forever. Interesting ending and I already miss this show it was dark and haunting.
Invite Only Cabo (2017)
Luxurious stay with shade
Luxurious stay with shade was the only way I could describe this show because you cannot describe this show since it's so bad it's good. This show is so bad, but also my guilty pleasure and every single behavior projected on this show is immoral and disgusting. It perfectly depicts how to not act when your just trying to have a great time in Cabo, or a great time with other people. This show centers a bunch of narcissistic, douche dudes who are just all looking to hook up with other people in the house and a whole bunch of drama is brought up throughout the show. You got the girl who is manipulative to everyone and her boyfriend with interesting behavior, the classy one, the funny one, the dude who does immoral behavior and blames it on the alcohol. These people drink so much that I'm not surprised so much drama is in 1 episode. It's not a show to describe its a show to just watch and laugh at the dumb drama projected on small things.
Imaginary Mary (2017)
This show didn't really wow me
First episode and I wasn't hooked nor did I laugh at it. The previews made it look like it would be a cute show, but however that imaginary friend humor is dry and just not funny. The story wasn't very developed well and I don't know how much this show has to go off of. I really didn't like it and won't be watching the rest of it
American Horror Story: Monsters Among Us (2014)
Disturbing sexual encounters, killer clown, psychotic sexy man, lots and lots of sex
Where do I start with freak show. Oh yeah I wrote my English paper on this show because of how much I love it! I feel it is one of the saddest seasons of American horror story history and Murder house was pretty depressing too. I feel American horror story had sad stories, but this one always makes me cry. This season makes me wanna cry how the freaks are treated and spoiler alert when meep died was the saddest death of them all!
I'm letting you know there will be spoilers. Let me start off with saying the setting is in Jupiter, Florida and it centers a bunch of freaks with shocking and traumatizing back stories. Like wow Ryan Murphy you made a series that absolutely makes me wanna vomit, but still look at the screen. Since I re watches it for my paper it wasn't so bad, but I did realize this season is messed up! I'm not kidding it seriously is. You got Dotte and Bette, coin joined twins, who have different personality traits. One is more innocent and the other is more cynical and harsh. Jimmy darling, the talk of the town who really just looks good and sleeps with many different girls because that's all he is ever seen, a object. Poor jimmy just wants to be accepted by his lover Esmeralda (his girlfriend in real life) which I feel makes their relationship more passionate and also shows their connection with one another. And the poor freaks are being terrorized. The clown we thought was just vicious never really wanted to hurt anyone and didn't understand what he was doing was wrong. He just wanted to make children laugh and that elicit emotion for the audience because he had such a short time and they killed him off just when I'm beginning to like him. The story was really well developed and showed the true message; acceptance. How we shouldn't judge people who are different then us and it just shows how the media represents freaks in general. This season was just so sad, yet awfully disturbing it was almost bittersweet. Not even dandy knew he had a problem and didn't know what his purpose was in life. People are so triggered how it's gross. It's American horror story, Ryan Murphy isn't going to show fake blood and guts no he wants to show real terror of what these freak performers went through and the exploitation. It has a great message with a well developed story line and characters 10/10.
American Horror Story: Chapter 1 (2016)
Gory, disturbing, sex, obscene images
Wow...wow...wow... Where do I begin with Roanoke. Me and my friend would come home from our class just to watch this amazing show and Roanoke didn't disappoint us. For some reason we are tons of popcorn and huge meals during the show which was a bad idea because may I say there is sex and very disturbing sex. Ryan Murphy truly shows terror in this season and he does a good job portraying all the characters. He also makes them all unlikeable because spoiler alert everyone dies. It's American Horror Story and you can't have AHS without a little gore and violence and every single character dead.
Ryan Murphy put up teasers for this season making us first think it was Mist which I was excited for. However, it changed to Roanoke and to even make this scarier it's based of a real life Horror story. I guess a bunch of people went missing and natives killed everyone, do your research before watching this season because it's a certain time in history and I don't know everything. However, this show, this freaking show is amazing. This season had me on my toes, stressed out, anxious, nervous, and made me jump a million times. The way Ryan Murphy created the twist of how they were actually on their own show is absolutely genius, genius. And every single evil demonic figure comes to life and destroy them, I'm shook. I was shook and this season man was gory, sexual, violent, entertaining with unlikeable characters, but still. Shelby is annoying with her "MAAAAATTT" "ROOOORYYY" I feel like most people already seen the show so spoiler alert everyone dies and the badass girl with three tits from freak show was alive. The ending really didn't satisfy me though, but it was a emotional, rollar coaster ride. Watch if you dare because man this show will give you nightmares about Pigs and the blood moon! Next time you see a blood moon run
The Real Housewives of New York City (2008)
"I'm going to marry Tom' "I give zero F's zero F's" "I MAKE IT NICE"
Although this humor/behavior of the woman is incredibly trashy, this show perfectly depicts how to not act in a public setting or in any setting in general. I've always enjoyed Real housewives of NYC and no one really watches reality to look up to these woman. Believe me, I don't watch a reality thinking I want to be Romana(however you spell it) and date around many guys. This is reality and they are surely going to do outrages things for views and entertainment.
Now that I got that out of the way I need to go on a little rant. Luann I just cannot tolerate her and her behavior with the other woman. Every One of those girls understand your marrying tom and know he'll cheat, but I mean Luann do your thing. Romano and Sonya there OK there just woman who are reckless and like to have fun. My favorite out of everyone is Carole and some parts I like Dorinda. Anyways I do not watch this show looking up to any of these woman's behaviors because it's trashy and not classy. However, I watch it for the entertainment of the show. This entire season was more about Luann getting married and the girls don't support it, there's some fundraiser going on, and also Romano with her millions of men she dates. Dorinda is too good for Jhon and deserves someone way better because I actually like dorinda! Poor dorinda tho, it's her birthday and the tom stuff is being discussed about lol will dorinda get a break. Overall 10/10 because great drama and I look forward to watching it in the morning (since I record it and like to eat my breakfast sandwich with it.) Drama and food is a perfect combination.
Downward Dog (2017)
Cute, funny, lovable, sweet characters
Now, I really don't know how to describe this show because it's very different than most shows. When I heard of a talking dog I started to be brought back to shows like Courage the cowardly dog and Dog with the blog. However, this show puts a little twist to it and I'll try not to spoil too much if you decide to watch it!
It was just a ordinary day where I don't have class and my mom had this show recorded. We decided to watch it and I almost found myself smiling and felt warm inside. It's a very cute show about a dog named Marvin who's owner is going through many complications. She has an on-off again boyfriend that she ocassionaly will sleep with during the show and the dog is completely confused about their relationship. It's funny because he's worried if her boyfriend will take her away from him. Now I don't own a dog mostly cuz I'm allergic, but it solely focused through the dog lenses/perspective of what is going on around him. He's unknown to human relationships and it also shows this through the owner's perspective of really wanting to get a job and become successful at it. This dog is kinda funny and although he says "like" so many times like he is suppose to say this like showing his feelings. I feel the overuse of like is more like showing how a dog might think of everything going on around. I do feel this show has potential to be very good, but they need to do more with it cuz at some points it feels bland. Sometimes the humor is sorta dry, but I give it a solid 10/10 since the dog is insanely cute and the characters are very likable! I even like her boyfriend too and her friend it's just a cute show:)
Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2012)
It's Gana get a little weird, it's Gana get a little wild, I ain't from around here I'm from another dimension
It was just a casual Saturday with my delicious mocha coffee and I was searching for something to watch because nothing was on TV. I came across the show star vs. the forces of evil and the first episode made me fall In love with each of the characters personalities. Star is such a loving, positive, free spirited girl from another dimension and enters a different dimension,Earth. Marco is a hot, good looking, sexy anime character that shows their friendship and connection as a team. Marco is her partner in crime and I love seeing the development of their friendship form in this very show! There is also a antagonist,Ludo, who's motive is stealing Star's wand and creating chaos. The anime is adorable and the characters are all like able where it gives a feel good vibe when I watch it. It's cool how Star's voice actor is given the same persona on how she is perceived on The Middle. Fun, loving, and positive about every dire situation! There needs to be more shows like this. Now let me talk about that catchy theme song....I LOVE IT! It's adorable, it's quirky, and it's wild. I'll be singing it while they play the theme song and dance crazy because it's great! I love the ending credits of this show because it shows her perspective on how she believes earth is not a bad place and can make a home here. She can view the world in a positive outlook and see every dire situation as something that is happy and loving. It's just a show that gives of positive vibes and make you feel good. She believes "a stranger is just a friend you never met, I'm blasting monsters and I never break a sweat. I'm really thinking I could call this place home!" would give this show 10+ stars and I hope Marco and Star end up together and show their development as a couple and how they grow together and work with one another through problems they have in life!
The Good Place (2016)
Amazing, Good feel show
The characters are all absolutely adorable and the way each characters interact with one another. I thought the concept of the afterlife and the philosophical question of what is our perception of the afterlife was portrayed a very interesting way. The show starts of with a character named Eleanor who was shown in the past of reckless behavior. She was very selfish and only cared about herself. In the afterlife, they are given what are known as soul mates and another individual they spend the rest of their life. The show shows her understanding the meaning of morality and ethics in becoming a better person. The characters are all lighthearted and funny where the show tends to give of a good feel vibe. I'm surprised how much I liked it and how each character connected with another. Very cute show and I hope it gets a second season! Can't wait for what's more to come with this show and I'm sure it will be successful one!
