Ok, forget the title. A great original premise. Supernatural antiques get sold off before realizing what they were. Now they have to get them all back, limiting the damage they've done. Bad casting. Great old guy, stupid dufus and hairspray queen, not great. But i will try to get past it. Could have been a lot better but il give it a chance. Especially since reviews seem positive. Episode after episode of stupid lazy writing. Characters you want to punch in the face cause they're so dumb. Here is one of many glaring examples. They have a basement area where they store all the objects to keep objects safe and people safe. They decide to throw a halloween kegger. Knowing they have all these supernatural objects that can cause massive mayhem, better make sure they're all secure right? Better have everything in locked vault. No, they got a bunch of stuff not in the vault, just sitting around in basement. Then they don't bother to keep an eye on all their guests. After all, they tied a piece of string across basement doorway and hung a jokey halloween sign saying to keep out. Surely all the drunk frat bro's they invited will respect the piece of string barrier right??? Wrong again. Frat bro's blow right past it and proceed to play with magic crystal ball. When that goes bad, obviously, the power in house blows and one of the genius main characters goes to check it out. He finds them in basement right by all the really important supernatural stuff that must be kept out of the publics hands at all costs. His main concern though is that they didn't respect is tiny string and keep out sign. He verbally chastises them, saying he was serious about the sign!!!! Maybe they messed with some of the stuff. Maybe they took something and are now walking off with it. Maybe they released Lucifer. None of that occurs to genius boy i guess. I mean, drunk frat bro's at a halloween party, who just blew off your keep out sign, they wouldn't do anything like that right????? Nahhhh. Thats just a small sample of what you have to try and ignore to get through a episode. But stuff like that goes on all over the place and in every episode (I watched) What a shame. Maybe a reboot would be nice as it could work.

The Count, after allowing The Doctor and Romana to escape is in a bad way. A plan of total genius is needed to outsmart The Doctor and his compatriots. The Count approaches under a flag of truce. He isnt searched but why bother. The pole he's using for his white flag is a deadly spear. While everyone stands around watching, he kills the android king. All that are present at the time actually need to be told this is a bad thing and as he makes his escape they have to be ordered, "after him!!!!!" God forbid you disarm him of the giant spear he arrived with or secure him or even the room your in. Then after destroying the android king he is able to exit the building, taking Romana with him!!!!!! So after she made her daring, almost impossible escape, she was free for all of 5 minutes before The Count casually enters their building, destroying their android and easily exits, taking her along. It makes The Doctor look like a incompetent fool. And they should just surrender asap. If that's the way they conduct themselves, they have zero chance of succeeding. Surrender. I expect much better from the Doctor. Awful episode.

A show called American Horror Story has a lot of expectations attached. Watching the little vignettes that they put out prior to each season can really get you excited for this show. Watching the opener they create for each season also got me hyped. Sadly what your given is something totally different. The best way to give people & idea of what this show is..........if they don't know its creator is to compare it to other shows that are similar or actually done by the creator. So, if you are really into Charmed, Supernatural, Scream Queens, Melrose Place, Nip/Tuck, Glee..........then you will LOVE this show and think its super scary. If you ever thought of making a great horror show and your first thought was.......I know, lets get Lady Ga Ga, this is your show!!!!!!!!!!!
If on the other hand, your into, The Amityville Horror, The Shining, Salems Lot, The Exorcist, The Omen, then you will be thoroughly disappointed in this. The best that can be said is that season 2 Asylum was "watchable" To have a season that you are going to dedicate to witches, man the potential there........what a wasted opportunity. The crazy scary horror they came up with was a boarding school for teenage witches. You know, your basic Sabrina the teenage witch stuff. Anyone remember that thing that came out of the bathtub in The Shining?????? Now THAT is what i imagine a witch to be. Lure you into a room, appear or make me think I see a smoking hot naked women getting out of the bath, start getting a little action and............she turns into the most hideous hag, with her skin just peeling off her body and about 300 years old, laughing maniacally at me!!!!!!!!!! Instead we get some teenager, oh im gonna cast a spooky spell on you that will ruin your date tonight with captain of the football team. Ohhhhhh scary stuff. Its almost like they went out and got a different person to create the kickass intro to every season. Then said, thanks, you can go home now.........and proceeded to make a completely different show.
What a shame.
