This movie is made at a time when family having special child was tough to handle but at present perspective still it did not change that much. And this film is convey a great message towards those family.
In this movie a person can feel the love, loss, struggle and social restriction all at once. And all the actors in this movie fullfill those criteria to show us the real emotions.
There is also a scene by which you can understand that a special child needs to be looked after all the time. Hope and despair both can be seen in this movie with a great message.
"Nondito Noroke" is a Bengali film that explores the challenges faced by a middle-class family due to their mentally ill daughter. Being John Malkovich (1999)
"Being John Malkovich": A Surreal Exploration of Identity and Desire
"Being John Malkovich" is a **bizarre and thought-provoking** film that defies conventional storytelling. While it may not be everyone's cup of tea, its unique premise and existential themes make it a memorable cinematic experience.
**Plot Summary:**
The movie follows Craig Schwartz (John Cusack), a struggling puppeteer who stumbles upon a mysterious portal hidden behind a filing cabinet. This portal allows people to enter the mind of actor John Malkovich (played by himself) for a limited time. As Craig becomes obsessed with this strange phenomenon, he grapples with questions of identity, desire, and the blurred boundaries between reality and fantasy.
**What Works:**
- **Surreal Creativity**: Director Spike Jonze crafts a world where the absurd becomes commonplace. The idea of inhabiting someone else's mind is both fascinating and unsettling.
- **John Malkovich's Meta Role**: Malkovich's portrayal of himself adds layers of complexity. Is he the actor or the character? The film blurs these distinctions brilliantly.
- **Existential Musings**: The movie invites viewers to ponder existential questions: Who are we? Can we escape our own lives? What defines our identity?
- **Maxine's Complexity**: Catherine Keener's Maxine is both alluring and manipulative. Her character embodies desire and curiosity.
**What Doesn't Work:**
- **Weirdness Overload**: The film's quirkiness can be overwhelming. Some viewers may find it too offbeat to fully engage with.
- **Craig's Fate**: Craig's decision to live inside Malkovich permanently is both tragic and perplexing. It leaves us with more questions than answers.
- **Maxine's Ambiguity**: Maxine's motivations remain elusive. Is she heartless or merely pragmatic?
**Final Thoughts:** "Being John Malkovich" is an acquired taste. If you appreciate unconventional cinema and enjoy pondering the mysteries of existence, it's worth a watch. While Maxine's character may not resonate with everyone, her presence adds to the film's enigmatic allure. Ultimately, the movie's main theme-that we all yearn for escape and transformation-is what lingers long after the credits roll.
Challengers (2024)
"Challengers" Falls Short in Character Development and Message
"Challengers," directed by Luca Guadagnino, disappoints on multiple fronts. While the film attempts to explore complex relationships and emotional struggles, it ultimately falls flat due to poor character development and a misguided portrayal of sexual tension.
1. Zendaya's Character: A Missed Opportunity
Zendaya's character, Emma, lacks depth and nuance. Her actions are inconsistent, and her motivations remain unclear throughout the film. Rather than providing a compelling arc, Emma's portrayal feels superficial and one-dimensional. The film fails to explore her backstory adequately, leaving viewers disconnected from her journey.
2. **Problematic Sexual Tension**
The movie relies heavily on sexual tension between characters, particularly Emma and her tennis rival, Patrick. However, this tension feels forced and gratuitous. Instead of enhancing the plot, it distracts from the central themes. Worse yet, it perpetuates harmful stereotypes about women and their relationships. The film misses an opportunity to depict genuine emotional connections beyond physical attraction.
3. **Societal Implications**
By emphasizing sexual scenes as a primary selling point, "Challengers" sends a troubling message to society. It suggests that sexual intrigue is more important than character development or meaningful storytelling. This approach undermines the film's potential impact and reinforces harmful norms.
4. **Box Office Success: A Questionable Triumph**
Despite its flaws, "Challengers" has raked in significant earnings. Unfortunately, this success seems to validate the misguided choices made during production. It's disheartening to see a film prioritize sensationalism over substance and still achieve financial success.
In summary, "Challengers" fails to deliver on its promise. Weak characterizations, problematic sexual tension, and a misguided focus on box office returns overshadow any positive aspects. Viewers seeking a thought-provoking tennis drama should look elsewhere.
A Little Game (2014)
If you want to learn chess at the age of 10
A Little Game" whispers its magic through the streets of Manhattan. Max, a young chess prodigy, learns that life's moves mirror those on the board. Makenna Ballard's debut shines, leaving an indelible mark. While not a grandmaster's masterpiece, its message lingers: forgiveness blooms where footsteps faltered.
Her interactions with the irascible Norman reveal deeper truths:
Perseverance: Max faces challenges, but she persists. Life, like chess, demands resilience.
Teamwork: She navigates personal crises, realizing that sometimes we need others to win.
Passion: Max auditions for the school play, standing up to bullies. Following our passions matters.
Independence: Max asserts her choices, even when it means challenging norms.
Change: Norman compares chess timing to life-inevitable shifts. "Enjoy it while it's here."
In this quiet film, the chessboard mirrors existence, and forgiveness blooms where footsteps faltered.

Il mare copy or Sadia Ayman's Acting perfomence?
Many will say this movie used ideas from some foreign movies that are already popular and well known, But the interesting thing was this movie gave us some feelings that we felt after a long time.
In this movie we hear some dialogues which will stay in our mind for long and romanticism through landline will be pleasing for 90s people like us. If you feel that this movie's story is taken from other movies then that thinking is okay but think about the feelings which we felt in our own way by seeing this movie. For me this nostalgia part was the main thing.
And acting of Sadia Ayman is top notch, also her voice was so soothing that anyone will fall in love without looking at her face.

I do not know why not anyone talk about this movie more...
This is a movie of mixed emotion where a hard hearted guy can be melted too. In This movie a person can be very emotional and also get very happy about it. From this movie a person can learn about love, responsibilities and struggle in life. This kind of life lesson should be more in movies.

Everyone will feel sad for Venus and serena for his father
This kind of pushy parenting will influence many other parents which will lead to something bad.
They got the success but if they don't then they will blame their father for the rest of their life. It was annoying to watch.
