Christopher Nolan is arguably one of the most talented director of this decade. The reason for this is his contribution to story and screenplay writing in almost all the movies he has directed so far. I love the direction his movie career is progressing. He is still the guy who directed the clever and stylish thriller Memento but he has now incorporated elements of a commercial blockbuster packed into his movies that still have the same charm and appeals to a wider range of audiences. He exemplifies this in Inception. As Leo said in one of his interviews, only Mr.Nolan could get a studio to spend about 250 million dollars to make a movie like this and release for the summer. Kudos to Warner Bros!! The plot of the movie is not twisted at all but makes you think about it after you leave the theater. Another reason why "I" like Nolan's direction is that both Dark knight and Inception involves more than just a couple of characters, in the sense that each character contributes to moving the story further, in the case of inception the dreamer at each layer has to execute something aka "Give the kick" so that the other characters in the next layer of dream can achieve the final objective of planting the idea in the subconscious of the "target".
I do have some negatives to report for the movie.Although the movie is near perfect and could not have been executed better, I felt the editing and the pace of the movie at the end "The van falling from the bridge along with its three layers of dreams" could have been executed a little better. The snow action sequences could have been a bit more spectacular. But then like i said the movie is still quite good.
