A touching tribute
2 November 2020
Produced with love, this five parts series pays respect to Mitzy Shore, her family, the forum she created and the hundreds of comedians who call it home. While it does not shy away from the bad parts, neither does real comedy. Absolutely worth the watch.

Wolf of Snow Hollow

With perhaps the last performance by veteran Robert Forster, this movie is more than worth the watch. Written, directed and starring Jim Cummings and a great supporting cast.

Great ensemble cast

Maggie Siff steals this show, which already has a phenomenal cast.

So far, so good

Unsure of the target audience, but it's not a bad show. DC needs to invest in it's shows and not run scared like they did with Swamp Thing. Given a full season or two, Stargirl can be better.

A chance at redemption
31 May 2019
A story of redemption, Bruce Willis is a crooked cop who suddenly decides to do the right thing - protect a witness who can bring his whole corrupt precinct down. An outstanding performance by Yaasin Bey and, in my opinion, as good a performance from Willis as we've seen this century.

For the grown

An outstanding cast. Well balanced stories. Great character development. Just don't watch around the kids.

Slow burn horror
7 November 2018
The pace was excellent. Not so many jump scares that you'd be reaching for a brown paper bag. Cerebral. Lots of monologues in time for award season. Can't imagine what they'd do for a season 2.

Very good

I enjoyed every minute of it. Michael Peña gets lots of time to shine and the supporting cast proves as important as the main cast. This is a team movie. I've watched it 3 times already and may just watch it many more before it stops being enjoyable.

Unrealized potential
4 November 2018
Had it been produced by Blumhouse like the other movies in the Conjuring universe, I have no doubt James Wan would have done this justice. Instead, Warner Bros dumbed it down to a performance not worthy of its R rating.
