The Orville: A Tale of Two Topas (2022)
all is better on board the Orville
I freaking hate Klyden. He is the worst. I am soooo happy he finally left. Justice for Topa and Isaac. Plus, we finally heard Bortus sing! A truly happy ending 😊
Star Trek: Picard: Farewell (2022)
a long path to forgiveness and acceptance
Everyone found love. Even the Borg Queen (of all creatures) 😛 pain and guilt that saved planets and the final acceptance of what was in order to move to what will be. I see why others might find this repulsive, but sometimes it's about healing and inspiring hope. Picard deserves to explore his own weaknesses and find love!
Doctor Who: Eve of the Daleks (2022)
I just can't... another countdown
What's up with his proclivity for including countdowns? Also, daleks... again?! Can't wait for a new showrunner and the next regeneration! 3, 2, 1 🤣 🤣🤣
The Wheel of Time: The Dark Along the Ways (2021)
slow and cringey
Man, this episode was so slow and boring until the end. The romantic scenes were quite weird and painful to watch. Nothing happened until the very end. Whatever happened was so sudden and uncalled for that it felt unnatural.
Doctor Who: Flux: Chapter Three - Once, Upon Time (2021)
too many characters
There are too many characters and plotlines to follow. So much drama and action. Why should we care about all these characters? I hope it gets better but I won't be surprised if it doesn't. Just gotta wait it out until Chibnall leaves 😜
Doctor Who: Flux: Chapter Two - War of the Sontarans (2021)
classic Chibnall
Just when I started thinking that Chibnall changed his ways, there it was - the countdown 🤣🤣🤣🤣 A comparatively good episode unlike 1 and 3 which were quite boring😝
Foundation: The Leap (2021)
a satisfying end
A great episode that gives closure tying in several storylines. Finally, got an answer to a burning question if Salvor was Gaal's daughter. What a mind bending experience for Gaal who lost the love of her life, her planet and woke up to a grown daughter in a span of a few days. My heart aches for Cleons and Demerzels - what a heart-wrenching situation. 😢
The Good Doctor: Vamos (2021)
sweet
Oh my heart! I know it's super cheesy but it's sooo sweet🙂
Charmed: Chaos Theory (2021)
Unexpectedly good!
Character development and nice twists. A high quality episode.
The Flash: Family Matters, Part 1 (2021)
I think I threw up a little
Nothing is happening. Extremely boring. Definitely past its prime.
Call Me Kat: Moving In (2021)
Good
Getting better. I hope it gets another season to be the show in its own right.
Call Me Kat: All Nighter (2021)
the best episode so far
Most of the episodes were either hot or miss. This one was the sweetest one.
Vsyo budet khorosho (1995)
Very moving
Really delves into different aspects of love! After watching this movie you definitely believe the title!
Doctor Who: Heaven Sent (2015)
Brilliant
Despite some plot holes, the episode shows real character's depth.
It's well directed, and Capaldi is an amazing actor.
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
had I never watched the original, I would've loved it
Too many plot holes, no real focus.
Was it a revolution, then why not show us? Was it love, then whose?
Is it showing internal struggles of androids trying to be human, then why was the main character forced to do this by depriving him of everything and emotionally manipulating him to do stuff by making him believe he's the one? If Deckard wanted to hide the secret, why didn't he just get killed off as Rachel, why are there loose ends? Is it the confirmation that Deckard is a replicant? Then, if there was a convenient 10-day blackout, how do they know he was indeed a replicant?
No mention of the colonies, like they have all disappeared. The cry serial killer replicant Luv...
It's a very beautiful movie, but, man, I wish there was no sequel...
Designated Survivor: Warriors (2017)
An OK episode, perhaps, I expected too much
Knowing that this show never intended to be real, this episode is passable. From time to time, it gets so fake that it hurts. Some of the emotions are so exaggerated... It's nice to see that the puzzle pieces are coming together, but oh man it could've been so much better. After such a long wait, we deserved something spectacular! What's up with Alex? I don't believe her, not for a second. The nurse was especially painful to watch. MacLeish appears to be quite weak as a character, always following his wife and the unknown somebody who they keep bringing up and hinting on their supposed omnipotence. Duh... And what's up with the cliffhangers?
