A Million Little Things: One Big Thing (2023)
Best Ending
Best ending to one of the best dramas I'd seen in a long time. I always felt connected to every character in some way. I love how the show always caused me to reflect on situations in my own life, what's really important, and also made me tear up during many episodes. I only remember doing that at the ending of Field of Dreams and this last episode had all the feels. I will miss the show but I'm so glad I got to watch it and even more glad that the final episode really brought everything together one last time. I'm very grateful for my own friends, many of whom are also like family and it was wonderful to experience one more little thing of a million little more.
I Care a Lot (2020)
Surprisingly good
I almost didn't give this movie a chance due to a lot of low ratings, but I thought it was good. Far-fetched? Sure. Do you hate the characters? Absolutely (but I do love Rosamund Pike and Peter Dinklage). Total willing suspension of disbelief and I was sucked in. Pike is so good in the role (very Gone Girl-esque) and Dinklage counter acts extremely well. I think those who watch the movie and see it for what it is will appreciate it. Definitely a popcorn flick. Tackles some embedded topics like capitalism and greed, murder and revenge. I thought it was well written and well acted.
