Quest for Camelot (1998)
On Adult Viewing, More Political than I had Thought
A kid's film about how right-libertarianism (Ruber) continuously fumbles and fails in its attempts to corrupt egalitarian communist/socialist collectivism (Arthur echoes the classic "according to each person's needs"), and how left-libertarians are basically just hurt and can be welcomed back into the collective (Garrett), all through the lens of an odd Celtic monarchical romanticism written by some posh English folks. The usual plant/animal oddities and minstrelesque comedic relief make their unfortunate appearances, much like Fern Gully or Star Wars or *insert animated film here*. Oh, and Celine Dion!!
All Rise (2019)
Things to Think About
Many of the other reviewers here seem to have no understanding of race and class issues in the USA, and so have a hard time understanding the point of the show. Realism isn't the point, social commentary is. My opinion is that most people don't want to think when they watch TV - especially when presented with something new to them. Read the below reviews with that in mind and see what you think.
