Free Birds (2013)

Worth watching

It is exactly what it promises to be. A silly movie about time travelling turkeys with enough laughs to keep my interest to the end.

I never cease to be amazed at people who spend an hour plus watching something just so they can then leave paragraphs of scathing reviews.

Jurassic World (2015)

Dinosaurs great, humans suck!

It's like everyone started working on the same day and are therefore clueless about their "assets" full capabilities, the park's vulnerabilities. Not like they've been observing it since it was hatched. WHY would the I rex go after the humans, rather than the other dinosaurs in the park? Why are guns their first choice of defence? How's the lady able to outrun the T-rex in heels? After the failure of the first park, no legislation to ensure basic security and emergency evacuation measures?

But the dinosaurs look awesome!

True Crime with Aphrodite Jones (2010–2016)

In bad taste...

Alot of sly glances, snarky comments, all knowing smiles... surprised she doesn't wink at the camera. They just leave a bad taste. Worst choice as host for a true crime show.

Singh Is Bliing (2015)

This is a worthwhile watch for those who watch movies for sheer enjoyment.

If you're searching for the meaning of life, keep looking.

Skyline (2010)

Alien film with no heroes

There are no heroes to save the day. Just basically about what the rest of the world is doing when the superheroes are saving the world. I liked that.

The lack of closure at the end is more appealing to me than the bubble gum wraps at the end of most movies.

It did for me what I need movies to do which is to keep me hooked until it ends.... however it ends.

Heroine (2012)

Ignore the rating, it's really not that bad

I have absolutely no context for this movie and it's actors and sure it's not the most original plot but I found myself intrigued enough by the seedy side of fame to watch it to the end. I would actually recommend it for a slow night.

Honestly, the main reason I'm giving it an 8 is to counter the absurdly low ratings. At the very least it deserves a 7.
