Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Everything we've been missing from ever other Indiana Jones movie
This was by far the best Indiana Jones movie of the franchise. It had everything that all the others were missing and everything you'd want to be in an Indiana Jones movie. It was super fun, had heart, wasn't incredibly offensive, funny, had great stunts and technology. The anti-aging technology was way better than I was expecting (I was expecting Scorsese's The Irish level anti-aging, which was awful). I didn't even realize that they had anti-aged Mads until we jumped into the future and saw he's old now. He just looked like he used to. The movie also had all of the nostalgia of the old movies that's you'd want with a lot of redemption for it's flaws from before. Overall, great experience. The ending was fantastic!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013)
This show would be so much better if Daisy wasn't in it.
Love so many of the characters and storylines. Yes, it gets a little far fetched with so many episodes of content to fill. I could have watched it forever if Daisy would just go away. Ugh. She's awful and you have to trudge through seeing her just to get to all of the other great characters.
I mean how can you say no to the hilarious and adorable pairing of Fitz and Simmons? They're the best. Coleson and May also are amazing. The alien surgery is a little weird, but the character is always the one to root for even if he's in outlandish scenarios. Even the later season add-on characters are loveable. Just get rid of Daisy already!
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
Why is it so bad???
First two episodes in, and it's very bad. The girl is not likable at all! How the hell does 10 year old keep outrunning adults? You can literally see her slip through their arms. So bad...
F9 (2021)
Laughable
Literally the entire theater audience was laughing the whole movie - and not in a good way. It was so incredibly ridiculous and absurd and bad that all we could do in the audience was laugh. I mean these aren't Oscar worthy movies generally, but they're at least enjoyable and have a heart. This movie, they tried to be meta and make fun of themselves for their ridiculousness but it didn't land. Vin Diesel is not a good lead actor and he didn't have Statham or The Rock to carry the movie for him this time (sorry Cena). The great actress that is Charlize tried to act her way out of the bad dialogue, so I gotta say "we see you, girl." The only times we laughed with the movie and not at the movie was from a few lines by Luda and Tyrese.
Gotta say, Hobbs and Shaw was better. Not a great movie either, but way better than this.
