A good idea doesn't save a bad film.
3 January 2023
If you have watched the series, you probably would be interested to see this too. The trailer gives you some expectations with an idea of a cyber attack to a hospital, but the film itself doesn't really give you anything, just some screen time from the characters you have seen.

The script is really lazy and you feel like watching a cliche spin-off from the very beginning until the end. If you haven't seen the series, don't watch this either.

This film is an example of making money with a known franchise. Watch just the trailer, not the film. Sometimes that's enough and in this case, it really is.

Society misunderstood
28 October 2022
Movie tells a story about the society's incapability to notice it's flaws. The point of view, that bandage is the best solution, is interesting, because it is obvious, that it was not point, when this was filmed. It is only following the current worldview's state of mind and the director doesn't notice it, because he is fine with that. Actors have also been into that worldview from their childhood, so cast works out really well, everyone fulfills their tasks perfectly. That has usually considered the best, what an actor can do. Although, they could also think what the actual idea is and play in glances against the directors idea. Not because not being robots, but making actually better work in this story. That's why this film is unintentionally really realistic.

But still, it could do better. How about, if we think of preventing these things? Things which happen, when any person holds a gun in a hand.

We need police to guard the neighbourhood from the "bad guys", we need films to celebrate the ideology police cheered. But what if, we faced the problems (which are depicted as killers in this movie) beforehand? Without cheering something we believed in, without something that we acted along so many days, but just as we feel the breath in our lungs and the smiles in our eyes.

So, this film is well played, but without a lifesign of original spices in it.

It's not about the war, it's about the people.

War films and series often go along with simple solutions and plots and most notably, they keep repeating same stories.

Some might say, that two episodes were too few for dealing the story and some things should have had more space. It is partly true, but it is also interesting to see something, where not everything is made finished for the viewer. Situations in real life aren't so why make it like that always in movies? Haven't read the book, but I would guess that the plot in series follows it well.

Predictable stupidity

This movie reminds me of playing old-school war games kamikaze-style in easy mode.

That's everything I can say about it.

It's a positive match!

Wasn't really sure, what to expect from this film, but it turned to be a positive surprise. Casting is successful. The film brings the real life of romantic comedies and shows us that love has much more aspects, than just the basic romantic love.

Leaves your body full of adrenaline
23 January 2020
Sometimes you might play a mind game, that what if your life was a movie. Then you have a weird feeling, when you are kind of walking somewhere "between the shots", before the next scene starts, as time usually passes by slowlier in real life, than in movies.

This movie gives you a feeling, that you are inside the film, as nothing is cut out. Sometimes it requires improvised nonsence lines, but so is the case in real life, big part of it would be cut out, if it would be a movie.

The story is also great and intence, giving you a boost of adrenaline as you don't know what to predict next in this kind of real life simulation.

Highly recommend for everyone. I guess the crew had a huge party in Berlin after managing to film this.

I wonder, did George Lucas create Chewbacca's home planet on Episode III to get this classic forgotten.

Warning: Spoilers
People take this film too seriously. If you watch this as a bad comedy, it is actually pretty watchable. Chewbacca's son playing with a wooden airplane is just so awful, that it makes you laugh.

Music performances are quite ok to be honest. Boba Fett animation is the only part, which is suitable for serious Star Wars fans, but hey, why wouldn't you take a look of another Tatooine bar scene? Extra one star for a giant mouse drinking beer.
