The Restaurant (2014–2015)

Spot On

This show too accurately describes the restaurant business.

We used to watch the episodes during down time at my restaurant.

The actors do a fantastic job portraying the never a dull moment of the restaurant industry. Sadly, I have worked with just about every one of those people portrayed.

The Blind Man episode was hysterical, as the episode where the service staff came in all hung over only to be belittled by the Chef. So true! Happens all too often.

I wish the series would continue, as I found it extremely entertaining. Geeze, they make you type a novel, just to leave a good review. What is this, a term paper?

Billy the Exterminator (2009– )

Full of fallacies and inaccurate statements.

You would think a professional exterminator would know the difference between poisonous and venomous?

I can't tell you how many times they refer to venomous snakes as poisonous. There is a huge difference between the two.

Also, Billy stated in one episode that woman's mascara is made from bat guano. This is also false.

I know better than to believe anything I see on TV, but the spreading of false information is just not good TV. It makes him look like even more of an Idiot than he already does.

I mean his washed up rock star look is ridiculous enough, so blabbing about stuff he is clueless to definitely doesn't help.

Granted, the show is probably about the most entertaining thing on weekday mornings, besides the news or cackling hens.

Why they would send the brother, who is supposedly allergic to bee stings, to a bee removal job, unprotected, I don't understand.

I guess he has a pocket full of epi pens?

I'm sure I missed a few false statements, so if you just want mindless entertainment, then I guess this show is ok.

Just don't take anything they say as the truth, or anything remotely close to it.

Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020–2024)

Gives me a headache

I love Star Trek, except this show.

When I first saw the preview I thought this was going to be a great funny show.

I tried watching it several times, but each time I had to turn it off.

The actors who are grown ups, act like they are teenagers. They talk too fast, are too hyper and are just simply annoying.

I found none of it funny. If anything I find it absolutely terrible. None of the characters give me any chance of caring about their stories, lives, etc.

Geeze, 130 more characters to go to say how bad this show is. Well, let me try.

My Son, who is 25, loves it for some reason and doesn't understand why I can't watch it.

I try to explain that the show gives me a headache trying to mentally follow along, but it falls on deaf ears.

The story writing might be ok, but I'll never know because I just can't stand it.

The Curse of Oak Island (2014– )

Seriously? People still watch this?

They found nothing, they're not going to find anything.

How much of this poor island are they going to dig up?

How can people keep watching this show? It's the same thing over, and over, and over.

Dig a hole, get excited over a rock or piece of wood, then nothing.

Just cancel this show already and let the wildlife alone.

Incredibly boring, nothing captivating about this show whatsoever. Just goes to show people will watch anything.

It's the same thing, time after time. I've watched a few episodes that sounded interesting from the previews, but was seriously let down being everything exciting happened on the previews.
